As China is increasingly developing towards internationalization, English has become one of the essential skills for foreign communication. In view of the evaluation of music teaching quality, this paper tries to introduce elite teaching optimization algorithm, use multimedia to assist, sort out the factors affecting English teaching quality to build the corresponding indexes, select and optimize the English teaching quality evaluation model, and finally judge the results of English teaching quality. The simulation results show that the elite teaching optimization algorithm is effective and can support the quality analysis of English classroom multimedia teaching.

Many studies have pointed out that the-smaller-the-better quality characteristics (QC) can be found in many important components of machine tools, such as roundness, verticality, and surface roughness of axes, bearings, and gears. This paper applied a process quality index that is capable of measuring the level of process quality. Meanwhile, a model of fuzzy quality evaluation was developed by the process quality index as having a one-to-one mathematical relationship with the process yield. In addition to assessing the level of process quality, the model can also be employed as a basis for determining whether to improve the process quality at the same time. This model can cope with the problem of small sample sizes arising from the need for enterprises’ quick response, which means that the accuracy of the evaluation can still be maintained in the case of small sample sizes. Moreover, this fuzzy quality evaluation model is built on the confidence interval, enabling a decline in the probability of misjudgment incurred by sampling errors.

Process Capability Indices (PCIs) are not only a good communication tools between sales departments and customers but also convenient tools for internal engineers to evaluate and analyze process capabilities of products. Many statisticians and process engineers are dedicated to research on process capability indices, among which the Taguchi cost loss index can reflect both the process yield and process cost loss at the same time. Therefore, in this study the Taguchi cost loss index was used to propose a novel process quality evaluation model. After the process was stabilized, a process capability evaluation was carried out. This study used Boole’s inequality and DeMorgan’s theorem to derive the (1 – α) ×100% confidence region of (δ,γ2) based on control chart data. The study adopted the mathematical programming method to find the (1 – α) ×100% confidence interval of the Taguchi cost loss index then employed a (1 – α) ×100% confidence interval to perform statistical testing and to determine whether the process needed improvement.

One of the most significant components of the teaching department is the evaluation of teaching quality. The traditional teaching quality evaluation model has the problems of low weight calculation accuracy and long evaluation time. With the development of educational informatization, modern information processing technology can be used to effectively evaluate teachers’ teaching quality. In this article, a physical education teaching quality evaluation model based on the simulated annealing algorithm is proposed. An evaluation index system is established based on the construction principles of the evaluation index system followed by the construction of a judgment matrix to calculate the weight of the evaluation index. The simulated annealing algorithm is employed to effectively optimize the weight of the evaluation index and improve the evaluation accuracy. In addition, the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) is used to test the consistency of the judgment matrix, and the weight ranking results of the evaluation indexes are obtained to complete the teaching quality evaluation of physical education. The experimental results show that the performance of the proposed model in terms of evaluation weight calculation accuracy and evaluation calculation time is higher than that of the existing models. Therefore, the proposed model can better meet the requirements of physical education teaching quality evaluation.

PurposeThis paper aims to develop a quality evaluation model for artificial intelligence (AI)-based products/services that is applicable to startups utilizing AI technology. Although AI-based service has risen dramatically and replaced many service offerings, in reality, startups are rarely to develop and evaluate AI services. The features of AI service are fundamentally different from the properties of existing services and have a great influence on the customer's service selection.Design/methodology/approachThis paper reviews startups' development process, existing quality evaluation models and characteristics of services utilizing AI technology, and develops a quality evaluation model for AI-based services. A detailed analysis of a survey (application of the model) on customer satisfaction for AI speakers is provided.FindingsThis paper provides seven key features and 24 evaluation items for evaluating AI-based services.Originality/valueThis paper contributes to the growing need for methodologies that reflect the new era of AI-based products/services in quality evaluation research.
