With the rapid development of distance continuing education in China, there is a need to integrate the education information systems in different regions to offer a unified information management to eliminate the problems of the information scattering, information isolation, and information isolated islands for distance education. A new information frame based on SOA technology in software engineering was proposed to fulfill the requirement of contemporary distance education.

The cladding industry has been experiencing a rapid development since two decades ago. The client’s requirements and architect’s ambition make the building cladding become more complex than ever before. The technical complexity calls for more comprehensive managerial techniques, especially information management. This paper proposes a web-based information management system, in which software package was developed and hardware incorporated. After establishing the framework initially, a main challenge, information sources, of this mechanism was discussed.

In the last few years, the methods for the delivery of professional and educational training have radically changed. More knowledge and information are required from people in order to achieve an active role in their social and professional life. At the same time, the period of validity of new information and the currency of competencies quickly decrease. As a consequence, continuing education is perceived as necessary, even if the traditional methods of delivery are sometimes limited by the distance between the learner and the training centers. For this reason many continuing education programs make use of distance learning techniques that make the adoption of distance education programs more popular.

The rapid development of network technology and the increasing maturity of e-commerce technology have integrated the financial accounting information system, originally a single closed system of value stream, into a unified enterprise information management system of logistics and value stream. This paper presents suggestions on how to construct the financial accounting information system: exploring new management mode and implementing management reform; standardizing business processes and establishing a standardized management system; addressing the interface issues between various operation systems to achieve resource sharing; building new financial software systems to achieve real-time reporting of accounting information; establishing financial accounting information management systems to improve the accuracy and reliability of accounting information.

A partir da contextualização da sociedade da informação e dos novos desafios da formação profissional, o objetivo deste trabalho é descrever e discutir uma experiência de estágio profissionalizante na área de Gestão da Informação no contexto da Educação a distância, analisando os seus limites, possibilidades e impactos a partir da apresentação das atividades práticas desenvolvidas pelos estudantes. Participaram do estudo quatro estudantes do curso de Ciência da Informação e da Documentação e Biblioteconomia de uma universidade pública, ao longo de três anos. São descritas as atividades de gerenciamento de informação, desenvolvimento, verificação, controle e manutenção do ambiente virtual, entre outras atividades de suporte na implementação de novos cursos e ferramentas em educação a distância. Com a experiência desses estagiários ao longo do tempo, adquire-se conhecimento e expertise técnicos para a atuação na área de gestão da informação, possibilitando a construção de um agente qualificado para investigar questões como os impactos das novas tecnologias de informação no processo de ensino e aprendizagem. Por fim, esses estudantes adquirem uma visão perspectiva do que se concebe como a gestão da informação em uma empresa da área de educação, passando a refletir a partir de suas experiências, em atenção aos renovados desafios do mercado de trabalho e de uma sociedade em constante transformação, assim como a informação. AbstractFrom the context of Information Society and the new challenges of the professional formation, the objective of this work is to describe and discuss a professionalizing traineeship experience in the area of Information Management in the context of the Distance Education, analyzing its limits, possibilities and impacts from the presentation of the practical activities developed by the students. Four students of the Information Science course from a public university had participated in the study throughout three years. The activities of Information Management, development, verification, control and maintenance of the virtual environment are described, among others activities of support in the implementation of new courses and tools in Distance Education. With the experience of these trainees on the three years time, they had acquired knowledge and technical expertise for the performance in the area of Information Management, making possible the construction of a qualified agent to investigate questions as the impacts of the new information technologies in the education process and learning. Finally, these students acquire a perspective vision of what it is Information Management in a company of the education area, starting to reflect from its experiences, in attention to the renewed challenges of the work market and of a society in constant transformation, as well as the information.

Currently, due to the rapid development of computer technology in geology, methods and approaches of scientific visualization based on additional data analysis are being intensively developed. The general concept is that the main data field on the daily surface and additional conditions are set at the input. Further, methods of mathematical geophysics are used for their analysis and processing, as a result of which new information is obtained for deep surveys. Then, in the information system, visualization tools are applied to the new information received and to the main data field. Thus, the information system is based on the synthesis of visual representation methods and methods of mathematical geophysics, computational mathematics from different branches of knowledge. This paper presents a description of the software module of the geoinformation system, based on the methods of intelligent detection of anomalies of hidden deposits, for deep predictive and search modeling of deposits. The functioning of the software module is based on the application of the theory of inverse problems of mathematical geophysics with elements of artificial intelligence using geological data on the earth's surface, geophysical measurements and geochemical analyses as input data. The program module for the inverse problem of the continuation of potential fields in the direction of disturbing masses is used for real data of a specific mineral deposit.

This case details one institution’s attempts, at a departmental level, to develop an information system for planning and decision making. It looks at the department’s effort to manage and track students and to design a management tool that would help departmental faculty to function more effectively. It examines the challenges faced in managing information and the behaviors that drive new information management processes with the increased use of technology.
