Over the last decade, cardiac computed tomography (CT) technology has experienced revolutionary changes and gained broad clinical acceptance in the work-up of patients suffering from coronary artery disease (CAD). Since cardiac multidetector-row CT (MDCT) was introduced in 1998, acquisition time, number of detector rows and spatial and temporal resolution have improved tremendously. Current developments in cardiac CT are focusing on low-dose cardiac scanning at ultra-high temporal resolution. Technically, there are two major approaches to achieving these goals: rapid data acquisition using dual-source CT scanners with high temporal resolution or volumetric data acquisition with 256/320-slice CT scanners. While each approach has specific advantages and disadvantages, both technologies foster the extension of cardiac MDCT beyond morphological imaging towards the functional assessment of CAD. This article examines current trends in the development of cardiac MDCT.

Data acquisition is the most demanding application for the acquisition and monitoring of various sensor signals. The data received are processed in real-time environment. This paper proposes a novel Data Acquisition (DAQ) technique for better resource utilization with less power consumption. Present work has designed and compared advanced Quad Data Rate (QDR) technique with traditional Dual Data Rate (DDR) technique in terms of resource utilization and power consumption of Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) hardware. Xilinx ISE is used to verify results of FPGA resource utilization by QDR with state of the art DDR approach. The paper ratiocinates that QDR technique outperforms traditional DDR technique in terms of FPGA resource utilization.

Tourism has been an icon of countless regions in Indonesia since the founding of "Visit to Indonesia" in 2009 by the Government. All efforts were made by stakeholders (Government, managers of tourism destination, hotels and surrounding communities) in order to increase the visit of local tourist (Wiscal), archipelagic tourist (Wisnu) and foreign tourists (Wisman), one of the method is by implementing Saptapesona. The goal of this research is to distinguish the influence of reception of society of Sidoarjo toward marine ecotourism development through the implementation of Saptapesona. The type of this study is quantitative with data acquisition technique through observation and questionnaire, distributed to tourism managers, village and district government staff, and tourists in three different locations namely Sedati, Candi, and Jabon respectively for about 144 respondents. The data analysis was using simple linear regression. The results showed that there was a significant influence of community receptions on the development of marine ecotourism.
