Four monthly doses of an alum-precipitated mixture of diphtheria toxoid and H. pertussis vaccine administered after the third or fourth month of life should confer immunity to diphtheria and pertussis. Three monthly or bimonthly doses of an alum-precipitated "triple" mixture of diphtheria toxoid, H. pertussis vaccine, and tetanus toxoid administered after the sixth month of life should confer immunity to diphtheria, pertussis, and tetanus. Alternate gluteal regions are the sites of choice for alum-precipitated antigens in children under three years. When performed three months or more after the final dose of mixed alum-precipitated antigens the positive pertussis agglutinogen skin test and the negative Schick test for diphtheria were adequate evidence of immunity. Before a previously immunized child attends kindergarten or school, one stimulating dose of alum-precipitated mixed antigen is recommended. Probable exposure to a disease of a previously immunized child warrants very prompt administration of one stimulating dose of the respective fluid antigen.

The Guide to U.S. Map Resources, produced by the American Library Association’s Map and Geography Round Table (MAGERT) in 1986, 1990, and 2006, provides detailed directory information for map collections and cartographic resources in libraries and similar institutions throughout the United States. A decade has passed since the third edition was published, and there have been many changes in how libraries collect, preserve, provide access to, and administer maps and other cartographic resources. There is also yet another, newer, type of cartographic information to consider: geospatial data. In addition, there has been an explosion in the use of geospatial technologies, meaning the demand to find geospatial data for research needs is more prominent than ever.

The Government of India Act, 1935 was passed by British Parliament in August 1935. With 321 sections and 10 schedules, this was the longest act passed by British Parliament so far and was later split into two parts viz. Government of India Act, 1935 and Government of Burma Act, 1935. The demand for constitutional reforms in India has been quite old. The Government of India Act, 1935 derived material from four key sources viz. Report of the Simon Commission, discussions at the Third Round Table Conference, the White Paper of 1933 and the reports of the Joint select committees. This act ended the system of dyarchy introduced by the Government of India Act 1919, and provided for establishment of a Federation of India to be made up of provinces of British India and some or all of the Princely states. However, the federation never came into being as the required number of princely states did not join it. It was the last constitution of British India which split Burma from it. It lasted until 1947, when British territory was split into Pakistan and India.

The problem of decision-making in the situation of choice among equivalent alternatives is considered in the article. This problem is relevant for behavioral and cognitive Sciences, as well as for practice. At present, it does not have an unambiguous solution. For the first time the problem has been formulated in philosophy and described by the famous parable of Buridan’s donkey. In experimental psychology, the complexity of the problem was shown in the experiment of Nisbett R.T. and Wilson T.D., who offered the subjects to choice one from four identical goods in the supermarket. It has been shown that this choice is not accidental. Most buyers prefer a product that lies fourth on the storefront but do not realize it. The researchers concluded that in a situation of equal choice, the factor of place of goods on display is significant. The proposed article refers to a pilot study of the impact of different ways of presenting subjects with equivalent alternatives to choose from. Three groups of subjects were asked to make a choice in three different situations: to randomly select and cross out one cell in the rows of the figure in the form of a ladder and a pyramid (from 2 to 20). The third group was offered a situation of “distribution of 11 financial funds between 12 unfamiliar managers” sitting at a round table. The study showed that in the first two cases there is a tendency to choose alternatives that are at the center of the proposed figures. In the third case, there is a tendency to “allocate funds in the form of a clock face”. However, many subjects seem to apply some of their strategies of choice and are not aware of them. In practice, such choice is going to be irrational and often unpredictable.

Professor Jerzy Regulski played a key role in the process of building the self-government of the Third Polish Republic. He initiated his work on the self-government system as a part of the “Experience and Future” seminar on the turn of the 1970s and 1980s. During the period of the Polish Peoples Republic, the implementation of the developed opinions and assumptions was not possible. However, they turned out to be extremely valuable during the period of political transformation. During the session of the Round Table, Regulski was assignet to preside the works of the opposition party as a part of the Association and Self-Government Sub-team. After the victorious for the solidarity camp elections on June 4, 1989, Regulski supervised the realisation of local government reform. The restitution of communal self-government in 1990 was followed by establishing a direct self-government body at district and voivodship level in 1999.
