In this paper, we regard information technologies under manifold coordinate systems, namely the concept of Ideal Ring Bundles (IRBs), which can be used for configure of the system with the minimized basis for vector data coding and processing designs. The concept involves establishing harmonious mutual penetration of symmetry and asymmetry law as the remarkable property of real space, which allows optimize information technologies based on the law for finding optimal solutions for wide classes of technological problems in informatics, using novel designs based on combinatorial configurations such as the IRBs and their manifold topological transformations. These design techniques make it possible to configure big vector data information systems with fewer numbers of code words than at present, while maintaining or improving on transformation content and the other operating characteristics of the system by means of combinatorial optimization.

Contents. Coding and processing large information content actualizes the problem of formalization of interdependence between information parameters of vector data coding systems on a single mathematical platform. Objective. The formalization of relationships between information parameters of vector data coding systems in the optimized basis of toroidal coordinate systems with the achievement of a favorable compromise between contradictory goals. Method. The method involves the establishing harmonious mutual penetration of symmetry and asymmetry as the remarkable property of real space, which allows use decoded information for forming the mathematical principle relating to the optimal placement of structural elements in spatially or temporally distributed systems, using novel designs based on the concept of Ideal Ring Bundles (IRB)s. IRBs are cyclic sequences of positive integers which dividing a symmetric sphere about center of the symmetry. The sums of connected sub-sequences of an IRB enumerate the set of partitions of a sphere exactly R times. Two-and multidimensional IRBs, namely the “Glory to Ukraine Stars”, are sets of t-dimensional vectors, each of them as well as all modular sums of them enumerate the set node points grid of toroid coordinate system with the corresponding sizes and dimensionality exactly R times. Moreover, we require each indexed vector data “category-attribute” mutually uniquely corresponds to the point with the eponymous set of the coordinate system. Besides, a combination of binary code with vector weight discharges of the database is allowed, and the set of all values of indexed vector data sets are the same that a set of numerical values. The underlying mathematical principle relates to the optimal placement of structural elements in spatially and/or temporally distributed systems, using novel designs based on tdimensional “star” combinatorial configurations, including the appropriate algebraic theory of cyclic groups, number theory, modular arithmetic, and IRB geometric transformations. Results. The relationship of vector code information parameters (capacity, code size, dimensionality, number of encodingvectors) with geometric parameters of the coordinate system (dimension, dimensionality, and grid sizes), and vector data characteristic (number of attributes and number of categories, entity-attribute-value size list) have been formalized. The formula system is derived as a functional dependency between the above parameters, which allows achieving a favorable compromise between the contradictory goals (for example, the performance and reliability of the coding method). Theorem with corresponding corollaries about the maximum vector code size of conversion methods for t-dimensional indexed data sets “category-attribute” proved. Theoretically, the existence of an infinitely large number of minimized basis, which give rise to numerous varieties of multidimensional “star” coordinate systems, which can find practical application in modern and future multidimensional information technologies, substantiated. Conclusions. The formalization provides, essentially, a new conceptual model of information systems for optimal coding and processing of big vector data, using novel design based on the remarkable properties and structural perfection of the “Glory to Ukraine Stars” combinatorial configurations. Moreover, the optimization has been embedded in the underlying combinatorial models. The favorable qualities of the combinatorial structures can be applied to vector data coded design of multidimensional signals, signal compression and reconstruction for communications and radar, and other areas to which the GUS-model can be useful. There are many opportunities to apply them to numerous branches of sciences and advanced systems engineering, including information technologies under the toroidal coordinate systems. A perfection, harmony and beauty exists not only in the abstract models but in the real world also.

The first question to be answered, in seeking coordinate systems for geodynamics, is: what is geodynamics? The answer is, of course, that geodynamics is that part of geophysics which is concerned with movements of the Earth, as opposed to geostatics which is the physics of the stationary Earth. But as far as we know, there is no stationary Earth – epur sic monere. So geodynamics is actually coextensive with geophysics, and coordinate systems suitable for the one should be suitable for the other. At the present time, there are not many coordinate systems, if any, that can be identified with a static Earth. Certainly the only coordinate of aeronomic (atmospheric) interest is the height, and this is usually either as geodynamic height or as pressure. In oceanology, the most important coordinate is depth, and this, like heights in the atmosphere, is expressed as metric depth from mean sea level, as geodynamic depth, or as pressure. Only for the earth do we find “static” systems in use, ana even here there is real question as to whether the systems are dynamic or static. So it would seem that our answer to the question, of what kind, of coordinate systems are we seeking, must be that we are looking for the same systems as are used in geophysics, and these systems are dynamic in nature already – that is, their definition involvestime.

Using complete enumeration (e.g., generating all possible subsets of item combinations) to evaluate clustering problems has the benefit of locating globally optimal solutions automatically without the concern of sampling variability. The proposed method is meant to combine clustering variables in such a way as to create groups that are maximally different on a theoretically sound derivation variable(s). After the population of all unique sets is permuted, optimization on some predefined, user-specific function can occur. We apply this technique to optimizing the diagnosis of Alcohol Use Disorder. This is a unique application, from a clustering point of view, in that the decision rule for clustering observations into the diagnosis group relies on both the set of items being considered and a predefined threshold on the number of items required to be endorsed for the diagnosis to occur. In optimizing diagnostic rules, criteria set sizes can be reduced without a loss of significant information when compared to current and proposed, alternative, diagnostic schemes.

New technologies and so-called communication and information technologies are transforming our society, the way in which we relate to each other, and the way we understand the world. By a wider extension, they are also influencing the world of law. That is why technologies will have a huge impact on society in the coming years and will bring new challenges and legal challenges to the legal sector worldwide. On the other hand, the new communications era also brings many new legal issues such as those derived from e-commerce and payment services, intellectual property, or the problems derived from the use of new technologies by young people. This will undoubtedly affect the development, evolution, and understanding of law. This Special Issue has become this window into the new challenges of law in relation to new technologies.

Industrial noise and vibration leads to the workers disease, fatigue breakdown of pipeline and apparatus junction, decreasing of machine operating characteristics etc. According to statistics, amblyacousia and vibration illness takes the first places among all the other professional diseases. Investigations of noise and vibration levels at the operator's positions of "Volgoelectromontazh-1" Joint Stock Company of Russian Federation were done. Measurements were carried out according to existing methods and standards. In total 27 operator's positions were investigated in the main building and in the shop of consumer goods. The results of measurements showed, that for some positions (pendulum saw, cutting-off lathe, presses etc.) there were significant excesses of the sanitary standards of noise levels. Complex of measures of noise reduction was developed, including technical decisions and organizing measures. Results of measures implementation shows good efficiency of noise and vibration reduction.

Myocardial infarction (MI) injury extends from the endocardium toward the epicardium. This phenomenon should be taken into consideration in the detection of MI. To study the extent of damage at different stages of MI, we hypothesized that measurement of layer-specific strain will allow better delineation of the MI extent than total wall thickness strain at acute stages but not at chronic stages, when fibrosis and remodeling have already occurred. After baseline echocardiography scans had been obtained, 24 rats underwent occlusion of the left anterior descending coronary artery for 30 min followed by reperfusion. Thirteen rats were rescanned at 24 h post-MI and eleven rats at 2 wk post-MI. Next, rats were euthanized, and histological analysis for MI size was performed. Echocardiographic scans were postprocessed by a layer-specific speckle tracking program to measure the peak circumferential strain (SCpeak) at the endocardium, midlayer, and epicardium as well as total wall thickness SCpeak. Linear regression for MI size versus SCpeak showed that the slope was steeper for the endocardium compared with the other layers ( P < 0.001), meaning that the endocardium was more sensitive to MI size than the other layers. Moreover, receiver operating characteristics analysis yielded better sensitivity and specificity in the detection of MI using endocardial SCpeak instead of total wall thickness SCpeak at 24 h post-MI ( P < 0.05) but not 2 wk later. In conclusion, at acute stages of MI, before collagen deposition, scar tissue formation, and remodeling have occurred, damage may be nontransmural, and thus the use of endocardial SCpeak is advantageous over total wall thickness SCpeak.

The scale and complexity of search space are important factors deciding the solving difficulty of an optimization problem. The information of solution space may lead searching to optimal solutions. Based on this, an algorithm for combinatorial optimization is proposed. This algorithm makes use of the good solutions found by intelligent algorithms, contracts the search space and partitions it into one or several optimal regions by backbones of combinatorial optimization solutions. And optimization of small-scale problems is carried out in optimal regions. Statistical analysis is not necessary before or through the solving process in this algorithm, and solution information is used to estimate the landscape of search space, which enhances the speed of solving and solution quality. The algorithm breaks a new path for solving combinatorial optimization problems, and the results of experiments also testify its efficiency.

The aim of the chapter is to introduce money as the necessary link between micro and macro levels. The author starts with a critical appraisal of the neoclassical monetary theory paradigm. The opening argument is that it is not possible to separate the relative prices and price level formation. The interdependence between the price of money and the prices of all the other goods leads to the conclusion of the gross complementarity of money what violates the gross substitutability principle. Further, it is argued that the function of money as medium of exchange in a decentralized monetary economy is only possible under cyclic sequencing of bilateral exchanges. The latter means that new macroeconomic constraint is added to the conventional micro equilibrium requirements. The macro constraint makes possible to derive the individual utility functions from macro variables such as the income velocity of money and the price level. The macro constraint allows also for optimal solutions under the second-best conditions.
