The changing context of the Christian life brings Christian life at a crossroads, the first whether to remain in a comfort zone or the second whether to enter into the realm of profane daily life. The urge to get out of selfness and deal with the public world makes the Church deal with questions about its own identity. In this article, I want to explore the question of incarnation in Johan Baptist Metz's secularity. However, the concept of incarnation is applied solely to Jesus Christ as the Divine Word became flesh. Ricoeurian hermeneutics could help explain the term secularity on incarnation to immediate. And corporeal suffering of the others. The turn to Ricoeur as a methodological resource for theology provides a philosophical account of the methodology behind critical theology. The article concludes that the human being in their relationship its suffering experience is an experience of encounter.

AbstractNo one can be justified before God for doing good deeds. No matter how good a man is, if he does not believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, he will not be saved from the wrath of God to come. There is no human being who is right before God, and no sinful man can save himself in any way. The only way out is in the way that God has given to the problem of all sinners, by sending Jesus Christ to the world to die for sinners. "And for this he came, so that every man believed in him, who was sent by God" (John 6:29). The Bible teaches that salvation is only obtained because of faith in Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the object of that faith. This salvation is known as the statement "Justified by faith. Paul explained this teaching in each of his writings. This teaching of justification by faith has been repeatedly denied by some people who disagree with Paul's opinion. The history of the church from the early centuries to the present has proven the variety of understandings that have emerged from this teaching, but one important thing is that sinful humans are justified by their faith in Jesus Christ before God.Keywords: Paul;history; justified by faith.AbstrakTidak ada seorang pun yang dapat dibenarkan di hadapan Allah karena telah melakukan perbuatan baik. Sebaik apa pun manusia, jika dia tidak percaya kepada Yesus Kristus, Anak Allah maka ia tidak akan selamat dari murka Allah yang akan datang. Tidak ada seorang pun manusia yang benar di hadapan Allah, dan tidak ada seorang manusia berdosa yang dapat menyelematkan dirinya sendiri dengan cara apa pun. Satu-satunya jalan keluar adalah dengan cara yang Allah telah berikan untuk masalah semua orang berdosa, yaitu dengan mengutus Yesus Kristus ke dunia untuk mati bagi orang berdosa. “Dan untuk itulah Dia datang, yaitu supaya setiap orang percaya kepada Dia, yang telah diutus oleh Allah” (Yohanes 6:29). Alkitab mengajarkan bahwa keselamatan hanya diperoleh karena iman kepada Yesus Kristus. Yesus Kristus adalah obyek iman tersebut. Keselamatan ini dikenal dengan pernyataan “Dibenarkan karena iman. Paulus menjelaskan ajaran ini dalam setiap tulisannya. Ajaran pembenaran oleh iman ini telah berulang kali disangkal oleh beberap orang yang tidak setuju dengan pendapat Paulus. Sejarah gereja mulai dari abad permulaan sampai pada masa sekarang ini telah membuktikan beragamnya pemahaman yang muncul terhadap ajaran ini, namun satu hal yang terpenting adalah bahwa manusia berdosa dibenarkan oleh iman mereka kepada Yesus Kristus di hadapan Allah.Kata Kunci: Paulus; sejarah; iman; dibenarkan oleh iman.

The development of Christian morality takes a long journey which was started when the Church was born. There were many typical moral cases faced by the Church at each period of time. From one period to another one, moralists came out to solve the cases by giving the right assessment according to the Church’s way of life. A period which was well-known in the journey of Christian morality is the period of the Fathers of the Church. The principle of Christian morality is love which is based on the Gospel and the commandment of Jesus Christ. This was documented in Didache which was used by the Christians at that time. It was the principal moral document of early Christianity. In the development, it was then added by other principals: freedom and justice which were applied in the Christian life. The three principals (love, freedom and justice) formed Christian attitude in respecting other Christians and all people which is applied perfectly by Augustine. The following development of Christian morality was the development of the practice and the profound of what had been laid down before by the Fathers of the Church, with addition of the figure which is excelling in the life as Job, who had been interpreted by Gregory the Great. This writing is ended at this point, because the research is limited from the beginning up to the first development of Christian morality during the period of the Fathers of the Church.

The catechistic instruction fulfils an important part in the mission of the Church, among other things that serves to the initiation to the Christian and stable its education into the faith. This thought of the Church undertook the Neocatechumenal Way which came to life in the sixties of the XX Century and is still present in many countries and dioceses. To the development of neocatechumenal communities accompanied the interest of the Magisterium of the Church. The meaning Neocatechumenal Way is especially important on the catechistic field. The educated model of the formation, links back to ancient catechumenat, is useful and fruitful in the gradual and general Christian education and in the evangelization of the present world. The Statutes Neocatechumenal Way, confirmed finally in 2008, possesses also a legal importance. The practice this Way became consequently recognized by the Church. Also an important event was the acknowledgement of the public legal personality of the Neocatechumenal Way. From here the Way enrolls into the realization of the church mission. A consequence of these events is among other things, the adaptation of the liturgy performed in neocatechumenal communities to liturgical rules. Current attempts of defining – what is Neocatechumenal Way in the Church, do not give an univocal answer. This is not one of the church associations, nor other typical ecclesiastical structure. It seems that this is the completely new church formula (in the process of the formation itself) which couldn’t be attributed to until now that is recognized. Christians’ charisma and the attendance of the Saint Spirit produce in the church new practical forms, and simultaneously legal. So understood plurality of ways and the wealth of the Christian life existed in the history. The church recognized the new charisma, also at present and the Magisterium of the Catholic Church accompanies the Neocatechumenal Way.

Resum: El nomen sacrum ihs se hallaba presente en infinidad de manifestaciones artísticas y objetos de la vida cotidiana durante la Edad Media, por lo que era bien conocido por los fieles. El objetivo del presente artículo es mostrar de qué modo san Vicente Ferrer se sirve de esta abreviatura como símbolo de la crucifixión de Jesucristo con el fin de fomentar la devoción al nombre Iesus y erradicar el recurso a adivinos y sortílegos. Para ello, analizaremos el sermón de la Circuncisión del Señor predicado por el maestro dominico y estableceremos la conexión de los elementos integrantes del texto con representaciones coetáneas de la crucifixión.Paraules clau: san Vicente Ferrer, predicación, Nomina Sacra, crucifixión, historia de la cultura escrita Abstract: The nomen sacrum ihs was present in many paintings as well as other artifacts during the Middle Ages, therefore, it was very well known by the public. The aim of this paper is to show the way Saint Vincent Ferrer uses this abbreviation as a symbol of the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ in order to increase the devotion to the Name of Jesus and prevent people from consulting diviners and sorcerers to solve daily life problems. The article is devoted to the issue of contemporary church, perhaps the church of the recent times, to the issue of its parishioners and the characteristics of their psychological disposition, scope of reading, thought and ideas. Where is the marking line that divides them from the “secular life”, from “good laypeople” who also aspire to be moral? We see this marking line in the realization (awareness) of the conception of the sin and the use of this realization in everyday life. The root of difference between the “ecclesiastical traditionalists” and “ecclesiastical liberals”, that are connected with two diverse theologies and two diverse anthropologies, lies in the different attitude to the conception of sin. The traditionalists support the ascetic church doctrine that now more and more penetrates the parishioners’ life, and the liberals, voluntary or involuntary, absorbed the idea of the Man of the New Time, natural man, who due to the newest tendencies is gradually turning into an “unnatural man”. The disappearance of the concept of sin from the public conscience makes it impossible to deliver such sermons as the Saint Holy John of Kronstadt. The church and the laypeople tend more and more to talk past each other, the ecclesiasts turn more introvertive, unsociable and misunderstood by the world. Jesus Christ also spoke about this phenomenon: “If you were from the world, the world would love its own, but I chose you from the world, so the world hates you”. The tragic aspect of this saying becomes more evident in our time that has certain apocalyptic traits.

Leadership is a task given by Jesus Christ to Christians through His Church. Leaders are needed by every human being to achieve happiness and prosperity in all fields. Thus the Church has an important role in improving leadership for the spiritual growth of God's congregation because through qualified leaders people can understand correctly how to actually follow God. With this quality leader, people can understand who and for what God created them. Seeing the existence of a congregation that always needs guidance in spiritual growth, and that requires someone who can accompany The congregation is a leader or shepherd who is often referred to as the Pastor of the congregation. And not many Christian ministers or often referred to as Congregational Pastors have these criteria. So that they cannot be an example in the lives of the people they lead. So there are criteria set out in the Bible to become a Christian leader with quality and character. A leader is someone who deserves to be a role model for others because the leader has good character and becomes a leader blessing for the church he leads.

This essay first contextualizes the question of the relationship between the religious and secular aspects of contemporary Greece that lies behind of any discussion of fundamentalism. It is important to note that the Greek case looks quite different from other Western societies. Despite the (external) change or progress in various aspects of institutions or daily life, religiosity remains high in Greece, and the religio-political identity of Greek Orthodoxy has allowed the Church to maintain a voice in the public square. This study then provides a brief overview of the main aspects of religious fundamentalism (e.g., reactivity, selectivity, inerrancy, moral Manicheanism) in contemporary Greece, and it concludes by describing the basic contours of an Orthodox secular theology—focusing on the incarnation, eschatology, unity of truth, and the modern existential concern—that offer a response to the current state of this Orthodox fundamentalism.

Pastoral Meaning and Application of Selected Messages of His Holiness Benedict XVI. to Catechesis and Media One of the exhortations of John Paul II begins with a very interesting and inspirational statement with respect to the catechesis and its purpose. In particular, it argues that the Church always treated catechesis as one of its primary duties in pastoral service, since the risen Christ, before he ascended to his Father, gave to his apostles one specific order - to teach all nations the gospel he preached to them. Thus, catechesis does not affect only those who are open to hear the gospel, but also to those who may have been initiated into Christianity, but Christianity became for them only a lose bundle of traditions and customers, with little relationship to daily life, daily matters related to family, moral, politics, and so on. Further inspirational thoughts about catechesis focusing on this latter group of people come from the current Bishop of Rome - Benedict XVII, who by means of his messages about media addresses both the clergy and the people, and spreads the hope that a human being will be able to make a good use of modern technological achievements, especially for his or her personal development and the development of the entire society.

Selected Aspects of Evangelization and the Means of Their Application "The apostles, prompted by the Spirit, invited all to change their lives, to be converted and to be baptized", because the Church on the journey is needed for salvation. The same Jesus Christ, who is present in His Church, precedes, accompanies and follows the acts of all evangelists, and thanks to Him, their work bears fruit. What happened at the Beginning, is happening throughout the human history again and again. The author of this contribution aims to look into the contemporary forms of announcing Jesus, as it is the innovative nature of evangelization the world really needs to experience in the Church. In the Church that always seeks a human being and wants to freely give him "a drink from the spring of the water of life" (Rev 21:6). This purpose of the Church has been taking new forms and shapes throughout the history, thus reflecting the place, the situation and the historical circumstances.
