Mindfulness is increasingly implemented as a tool in mental health practice for coping and self-care. Some Christians worry that these practices might be in conflict with their own tradition, while other Christian contexts are reclaiming the contemplative aspects of the faith. Though clinicians are not trained to teach on religious topics and ethically must avoid pushing religion onto clients, conceptualization and research extend the benefits of mindfulness practices for religious clients. This paper will discuss the evidence for using mindfulness in mental health treatment and connect mindfulness to the Christian tradition. The authors explore how intentional awareness and embodiment of the present moment are supported in Christian theology through the incarnation of Jesus and God’s attention of the physical body in the Christian scriptures. The authors also discuss how sacraments and prayer naturally overlap with mindfulness practices for the dual purposes of emotional healing and spiritual growth. To bolster the benefits of mindfulness in the psychological and religious realms, the purpose of this paper is to empower therapists to address client concerns of whether mindfulness is in conflict with Christianity, support clients in expanding current Christian religious coping, and provide Christian leaders with more information about how mindfulness elements are already present in Christian rituals and beliefs.

Education is important for human existence because it broadens intellectual and spiritual perspectives. Education is very important not only for physical growth and development or human body, but also for spiritual growth and development. Education must start from a young age, because it can be used as a way of life until one reaches old age. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the students' ability to memorize the Qur'an at MI Muhammadiyah 6 Ponorogo on students' learning concentration. The research method used is quantitative, with a population of 96 students and a sample of 30 students who apply the memorization of the Qur'an. Data collection is done by using the technique of distributing questionnaires and documentation. The data were then analyzed using Descriptive Statistics and Prerequisite Analysis. The results showed that there was a positive and significant influence between the ability to memorize the Qur'an and the learning concentration of grade IV, V and VI students at MI Muhammadiyah 6 Ponorogo. This can be seen from the constant value of 16.987 and the regression coefficient value of the memorization ability of 0.755. With the regression equation, namely Y = 16.987 + 0.755X, it is known that the coefficient of determination of 34.6% is determined by the ability to memorize the Qur'an.

Christian Religious Education is a strong, firm, and fundamental Christian commitment in church ministry. If the church ignores teaching, then the church becomes static, lives in ignorance of faith, and means nothing. The task of the church is to equip and teach the members of the congregation to remain faithful to God and carry out his commands. This task remains relevant and must be continuously updated according to the demands of needs, developments, challenges, and contexts. With education, the church helps believers so that they can live as disciples of Christ, be able to apply their faith in daily life, and make Christian Religious Education the basis for carrying out missions. A person's spiritual growth does not occur because of his status as a Christian, or because of his faithfulness to follow church services. Therefore, the entire existence of the church in its ministry must be centered on planned and continuous teaching.
