Knowing identity in the Christian faith is essential to the life of each believer. Understanding the concept of self is closely related to how a person in his daily dealings with him, with others around him and also shows how he represents God. The result of not knowing or knowing yourself wrong can have a bad impact on yourself, others, the environment, as well as faith in God. Thus, the role of Christian education is highly demanded by both Christian education in the family, church and Christian schools to be able to work well together in order to achieve the inculcation of the concept of self-identity according to the Christian faith in children. It is not easy to realize the concept of self-identity in accordance with the Christian faith in the lives of children in an era that is so influenced by the current developments. Therefore, there is a need for awareness from the parties implementing Christian education to instill the principles and values of living according to the Christian faith as a provision for children in navigating their lives to face the challenges of the times.

Based on the results of the discussion, it is clear that education is a key element in the pattern of NZG evangelism. Therefore, education could never be separated from evangelism. Instead, the final destination of education is the expansion of the gospel message. The seeds of the gospel were introduced to local people through education. Even so, the NZG consistently continues to pay attention to the running of education services. The Christian education that has been carried out by the NZG brought a big impact on the social life of the people in the Residency of Timor.

A learning process is aimed toward outcomes.  The desired outcomes are the initial point to construct the proper conceptual framework to describe the theoretical foundation of research. Spirituality and spiritual behaviour are two outcomes that Christian Education thinkers agreed upon from Old Testament to now. The meeting between Greeco-Roman and Jewish culture had somewhat changed the trajectory of how Christian Education developed. The Greek cognitive-based learning has influenced the initial Christian Education which is Jewish learning system. This article attempts to describe how spirituality, spiritual behaviour, and spiritual knowledge serve as the ultimate outcomes of Christian Education. The description will fit with the role of the Holy Spirit in the overall process of Christian Education in any given scope. As a result, this article will construct a conceptual framework that can be utilized further to design a biblical curriculum that is not merely cognitively measurable but also to provide an intentional outcome of spirituality and spiritual behaviour.  The revised Bloom’s taxonomy will be used to bridge both worlds: the cognitive, and non-cognitive.  In conclusion, this article shows that the supernatural work of Holy Spirit is not against the natural work of Holy Spirit through teacher and student relationships in Christian Education, but both work together.

This article explores violence against women in Yogyakarta, which increased rapidly during the pandemic. The study showed that violence against women is also the result of deep and troubling cultural structures that oppress women. Based on a see–judge–act analysis, this article proposes that church educational ministries can build relationships with women victims and their families through a variety of transformational ways, even amid a pandemic. The church can develop communication, healing, and education through a holistic approach in Christian education (practicing communicability, redeemability, and educability). The paradigm of gender equality should be integrated into our attitudes and actions in daily life and in the whole range of the church’s ministry to create spaces for women’s voices not only through education and ritual action but also actual transformation.

In this article, we examine conceptions of giftedness through a Christian perspective and through a talent development paradigm ( Subotnik et al., 2011 ). We intersect aims of Christian education with a developmental view of giftedness in order to inform pedagogical approaches in educating gifted/high-potential students. In applying the characteristics of Christian pedagogy of uniqueness, purpose, stewardship, and Christian character, teachers of the gifted can create contexts for students to explore authentic learning experiences in ways that develop specific strengths and talents for kingdom purposes.
