In Wireless ad-hoc network, the infrastructure of MANET's differ to each other due to the topology of MANETs changes time to time because the mobile nodes of MANET's are movable. In MANETs protocols, if any node wants to communicate with another node then they establish a path with the help of adjacent node due to this the security in MANETs protocol is vulnerable. Thus, there are various types of attacks are try to break the security of MANETs protocol. AODV is a popular and most usable protocol of MANET and Black Hole Attack is a severe attack that affects the functionality of AODV protocol. The malicious node treat to the source node which have freshest and nearest path for the destination. In this work, my prime focus specifically is on follow the security against Black Hole Attack. I proposed AODV protocol capture some extra effort for source node and destination node which based on best possible effort (heuristic) with appropriate simulation using ns-2.35.

Simulation environment of the mobile Ad Hoc network is built by applying NS2 simulation software. The simulation data indicates that AODV routing protocol is better than DSDV in throughput, fairness and stability. In the underwater network environment where the nodes are in Low-Speed movement, the data transfer rate of AODV routing protocol is higher than AOMDV. To a certain extent, AODV is more suitable for application in underwater environments.

The overhead of a particular node in the network depends on its position with respect to packet forwarding capability and total number of nodes in direct contact. In cognitive radio network, the primary user detection and spectrum sharing mechanism consist of two phases which constitutes the sensing mechanism as first phase and second phase of spectrum allocation along with finalization of end to end route of communication. The base idea of route establishment is derived from AODV protocol while proposing the traffic aware route establishment mechanism. The established route by using simple AODV has lots of limitations such as common router selection in multiple routes due to its direct being in range scenario. The proposed method shows significant improvement in energy efficiency due to reduction in overall overhead based on dual valued information exchange based route establishment mechanism. The results obtained thorough simulations show better improvement in the energy efficiency.
