Self-expression is characteristic to any student and planning a drama lesson a teacher’s task is to make it very important for the student. If it turns out to be a success students will have an inner wish to improve their knowledge. The method of drama is one of the means to educate students seeking positive changes. The essence of this method is to feel the interrelation with the technology, the process of changes by means of drama signs. Drama method enables to develop abilities giving special tasks to the students with individual character and aptitudes. Each student has an opportunity to improve and seek higher level at a certain pace. Drama method is based on differentiation, the students have excellent possibilities to evaluate themselves, make conclusions, suggest technologies and make decisions. This article is an attempt to touch upon some examples how the method of drama helps to arouse students’ motivation for a peculiar subject. Besides, a teacher always tries to find links between students’ personal experience and the topic of the lesson so that the students could demonstrate their knowledge, attitude, thinking and opinion by means of drama method. All things considered, it is possible to state that the use of drama method in any lesson is a powerful tool to improve knowledge, feel open to cultural variety and establish social relations. Media have played a relevant role in society because it is through them that values and concepts of our time are incorporated by teenagers and children. It is important to un-derstand these effects as the young generation is exposed to these media and also how it would be possible to take advantage of this influence to school practices. Focused on this issue, the influence of media, in special movies, how the research in science education had been studies this trend. These work it is an art state which focuses on understands how and what kind of research related with this issue in Natural Science Education in Brazil. For this, we used the full papers presented at the ENPEC- Brazilian Conference on Research in Science Education from 1997 (date of the first meeting) to 2009 (the recently). It is expected that this knowledge will allow evaluating and redirecting these educational researches re-lated to this issue based on our results with the theme cinema and education. Key words: education and media, movies, natural science education, trends.

There are several methods of information convenient for natural science education, including press and television. The author checks the information which was published on the TV show and press by Rūta Janutienė, concerning the bread contamination with high stability toxin glyphosate. This herbicide is used to sprey the crop. The article provides information about the worldwide scientific research in order to investigate the effect of toxic glyphosate on humans and the environment. The conclusion is drawn about the negative influence of glyphosate on the reproducability. The author proves that journalist Rūta Janutienė has touched an essential contemporary ecological issue. Key words: natural science information, herbicide, assessment of toxicity, reproducibility.

There is arising several problems doing the practical or laboratory works at school. One of them is that there are no laboratories fitted separated from classes. If the teacher wants to do practical or laboratory wok he must ask the pupils to do a part of work at home. This separates the lesson; there are no possibilities to compare properly or to generalize the results of the work. The problem can be solved connecting the lessons; also, this is not always possible because of the elements of the education process organization. My experience shows that there are possibilities to do enormous spread of independent or exploratory work properly organizing the lesson, giving a chance to generalize the work and to make conclusions. When the school got the cameras for microscopes and when all of them were connected with computer the new possibilities have been arisen for education process (1 picture). There are possibilities to show microscopic objects exploring them during the lesson when computer is connected with television. This expands the possibilities of the lesson, saves the time, the work is getting more consequent (3 picture). I am presenting the one version of the lesson using the microscopic camera, computer and television in education process. The chosen structure and the methods of the lesson permit to use productively the time in the lesson. Even if there are no laboratories still there are possibilities to do and to generalize the work. The work groups having less practical working skills are doing their work properly because the information is public. There are enough time to divide the results of the resource and to compare them among the work groups. The data of the research are straighter because the micro-preparations and measurements using for counting are equal. The counting is very comfortable, undemanding for special efforts. The disadvantage of the lesson is that the lesson can be organized only when the equipment is prepared and for this teacher must spend the time. It is easier to do the work with the salt soak than with the sugar soak and this is not mirrors exactly the features of the osmosis. A need to combine school knowledge with everyday life knowledge, skill of understanding of natural world already exists during lessons of science nature at elementary school. To show to pupils, which information, news, skills are particularly important, useful and indispensable for far education, revision lessons be led. Teachers know that these lessons play an important role in process of teaching. All exercises should have definite content-related and didactic value. Taking into account the natural children’s knowledge, the amazing curiosity of world, spontaneity, passion for asking, teachers should prepare exercises in a proper way. Child’s creative abilities from literary, artistic, theatrical ones and its actual knowledge should be also used to prepare some selected activities. Key words: natural science education, revision lesson, teaching process, didactic materials.

“Science Education in Europe: National Policies, Practices and Research (2011) discusses students’ natural science literacy, generalises international research results, names natural science education problems, searches for solutions. One of them – suitable teacher preparation. This article analyses what experience pre-service primary teachers have about natural science lessons and what, in their opinion, is necessary for the students to like natural sciences. Keywords: personal experience, pre-service primary teachers, opinion research, lessons in nature.

Beginning of the 21st century - the time of rapid changes. In 2009-2010 in Russian Education has been approved new federal state educational standards for elementary and general education. The basis of the Standard is a systemic-activity approach. The main need is to develop content and technology of education, determine the ways and means to achieve the level of personal and cognitive development of students. Systemic-activity approach as a methodological principle determines the need to study the content of any school subject as a system. Especially the great importance realization of systemic-activity approach gets into natural science education. Realization of systemic-activity approach, which provides a guaranteed achievement of planned results, is possible in applying various educational tech-nologies in science education. The scientific-methodical journal “Natural Science Education” invites the scientists and teachers to take part in discussion of problems of natural science education. Key words: educational standard, systemic-activity approach, content and technology of education, educational technologies.

Nowadays we can see the decrease of interest of youth to natural sciences and, accordingly, the low level of natural science knowledge. The modern problem of the theory and the prac-tice of the learning in the schools is the problem of the formation of the competences. The investigators of this problem define various competences. According to the new approach to the content of the natural science education it is necessary to reconsider the process of teaching. One of possible ways is the teaching on the integrative base. The integrated teaching is based on interaction of aim, content, methods, forms and results of the teaching process. The substance of the integrated teaching consists of the necessity to unite the educational subjects of different cycles: natural science, humanitarian and art-aesthetic. It is explained so that in the contents of primary (elementary) education there are different aspects of study of the environment through subjects of a natural science, humanitarian and art – aesthetic cycle. The integrated lesson is a form of realization of the integrated teaching. The teachers of pri-mary schools of Lithuania organize the new form of the integrated teaching. It is the integrat-ed day and integrated week. The journal “Natural Science Education” invites the scientists and teachers to take part in discussion of problems of natural science education. Key words: natural science education, integrative approach, teaching process, interest in science.
