The analyze ability and skills certification of port and TKBM officers in carrying out goods loading and unloading activities at the port, as is known for the many work accidents that often occur at port and TKBM officers due to lack of skills in using tools -the loading and unloading of goods and appropriate work safety equipment in terms of work competency aspects in accordance with SKKNI standards. the type of research to be used is the type of qualitative research. The research location is in PT. Pelindo III Surabaya Branch and the PT. Pelindo IV. The results of the study and discussion it can be concluded that the port operational officer and the port loading and unloading workers in the PT. Pelindo III and PT. Pelindo IV has largely been not certified by the National Professional Certification Agency-Jakarta. Port operational officers and port loading and unloading workers are still equipped with certificates issued by the Indonesian Ministry of Manpower up to each of the Manpower Offices in the PT. Pelindo III and PT. Pelindo IV.

Main text A new key comparison of the standards for absorbed dose to water of the National Research Council of Canada (NRC), Canada and the Bureau International des Poids et Mesures (BIPM) was carried out in the 60Co radiation beam of the BIPM in October 2020. The comparison result, based on the calibration coefficients for three transfer standards and evaluated as a ratio of the NRC and the BIPM standards for absorbed dose to water, is 0.9995 with a combined standard uncertainty of 3.4 parts in 103. The result agrees within the uncertainties with the comparison carried out in 2009. The results are analysed and presented in terms of degrees of equivalence, suitable for entry in the BIPM key comparison database. To reach the main text of this paper, click on Final Report. O objetivo do artigo é analisar os empregos diretos e os acidentes de trabalho ocorridos na produção florestal, em plantadas, nativas e atividades de apoio. Para cada atividade, no período de 2006 a 2014, foi contabilizado o número de empregos diretos, acidentes totais, registrados, típicos, de trajeto e doenças do trabalho e os acidentes não registrados. Foram ajustados modelos de tendência para cálculo das taxas de crescimento anual dos empregos diretos e dos acidentes de trabalho. Foi utilizada a correlação linear de Pearson para explicar a relação entre o número de empregos diretos e os acidentes da produção florestal. O número de empregos diretos gerados na produção de plantadas e nativas aumentou nos últimos 8 anos. Apenas para o setor de atividades de apoio decresceu o quadro de trabalhadores. Dentre os acidentes contabilizados, as plantadas apresentaram, em média, o maior número de acidentes, seguidos pelas atividades de apoio e produção de nativas. Muitos acidentes ocorridos não são comunicados, dando prejuízos aos acidentados quanto à reivindicação de seus direitos. Dos acidentes registrados o principal tipo corresponde ao acidente típico. Fortes correlações foram encontradas entre os empregos diretos e os acidentes totais para as florestas plantadas e atividades de apoio.Palavras-chave: empregos diretos; acidentes; cadeia produtiva. FOREST PRODUCTION WORK SAFETY ABSTRACT: The objective of this paper is to analyze the direct employment and work accidents that occurred in forest production, in plantations, native and support activities. For each activity, in the period from 2006 to 2014, the number of direct jobs, total, registered, typical, commuting and work-related accidents and unrecorded accidents were recorded. Trend models were calculated for the calculation of the annual growth rates of direct jobs and work accidents. Pearson's linear correlation was used to explain the relationship between the number of direct jobs and the accidents of forestry production. The number of direct jobs generated in plantation and native production has increased over the past 8 years. Only for the sector of support activities has the workforce declined. Among the accidents recorded, the planted had, on average, the largest number of accidents, followed by activities of support and production of natives. Many accidents occurred are not communicated, giving damage to the injured in claiming their rights. Of the accidents recorded the main type corresponds to the typical accident. Strong correlations were found between direct jobs and total accidents for planted forests and support activities.Keywords: direct jobs; accidents; productive chain.

Main text The APMP/TCRI Dosimetry Working Group performed the APMP.RI(I)-K5 key comparison of the air kerma for 137Cs in 2014. Five national metrology institutes (NMIs) took part in the comparison. Two commercial ionization chambers were used as transfer instruments and circulated among the participants. The results showed that the maximum difference between the participants and the Bureau International des Poids et Mesures, evaluated using the comparison data of the linking laboratories of the Korea Research Institute of Standards and Science and the National Metrology Institute of Japan, was less than 0.5% within the expanded uncertainty. This comparison supports the equivalence of the calibration capabilities of the participating laboratories. The results predate the publication of ICRU report 90, therefore, the revision of the data reflecting the effects of the ICRU report 90 on the degrees of equivalences of the participant laboratories is presented in Appendix C. Main text The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), USA and the All-Russian Research Institute for Optical and Physical Measurements (VNIIOFI), Russia agreed in February 2013 to conduct a comparison on the laser power responsivity at wavelengths of 532 nm, 1.064 μm and 10.6 μm. The aim of this comparison is to assess the equivalence of the laser power responsivity between two laboratories. The comparison was conducted within the COOMET regional metrological organization (COOMET 599/RU/13) and was registered in the BIPM Key Comparison DataBase as a supplementary comparison with the identifier COOMET.PR-S7. The comparison was carried out using one detector head for measuring laser power. The detector head was supplied by VNIIOFI (OPHIR 10A). The results of this comparison essentially demonstrated agreement between the results obtained at the two participating laboratories. To reach the main text of this paper, click on Final Report. Abstract: The industry or restaurant business in Tomohon City has a very rapid growth. The purpose of this study was to analyze the benefits of competency assessment for waiters to ensure the quality of their services while working. The method used is a qualitative research method with a descriptive analysis model. The research was conducted at 10 restaurants in Tomohon City. The results showed that as a reflection or image of the restaurant, it was judged by the visiting guests, which was determined by the competence of the waiter who worked, including the expertise of the waiter in serving customers directly. This is very crucial in giving a good impression or image and giving satisfaction to customers because they feel comfortable. This of course cannot be separated from a competency or knowledge of the profession in providing a table during the service. The results also show the need for competent waiters to have qualifications that are truly recognized in their fields which can be developed through trainings whose credibility is tested and recognized by the Professional Certification Board. Professional certification aims to provide recognition of competencies that have been obtained through learning, training, as well as work experience.

In this publication we present the results of qualitative research we carried out in July 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. It concerned support networks of Ukrainian migrants working in the Tatrzański county, Poland. Extensive empirical material that we have gathered allows us also to examine working conditions in the tourism-related services sector. We analyze them in the context of the concept of precarious work, opposing it to the ideas of work safety and decent work. We recall numerous examples of violation of workers’ rights and point out how the precarious position of migrant workers has additionally worsened during the crisis related to the coronavirus pandemic.

The effectiveness of the many rights and obligations under EU law rests on a legal framework consisting of direct application of Treaty rules, harmonized European rules, national rules, and mutual recognition, and the task of implementing and ensuring compliance with these rules lies, in practice, with a large number of public authorities in the twenty-eight MS. In order to carry out this task, MS’ authorities need to cooperate closely, meaning that administrative cooperation is not only desirable but is required by the very nature of the EU. In the context of the free movement of goods, many circulation regimes are accompanied by their own specific mechanism of administrative cooperation.
