<p>Augmented reality has been increasingly used for the last 10 years. Real and virtual world combination supported by this technology has made augmented reality become an essential element for computer generated data integration in real-world. Museum augmented Reality Viewfinder is an interactive system that allows visitors to overlay computer generate contents onto sites and archaeological exhibitions in real time. As the person move the camera around, the position and orientation of the camera perspective is tracked, allowing the overlaid material to remain tied to the physical world. This paper describes concept, architecture and technology inside the Museum augmented Reality Viewfinder, image processing, rendering and PTZ control techniques are also detailed.</p>

Along with the development, the application can be used as a medium for learning. Augmented Reality is a technology that combines two-dimensional’s virtual objects and three-dimensional’s virtual objects into a real three-dimensional’s  then projecting the virtual objects in real time and simultaneously. The introduction of Solar System’s material, students are invited to get to know the planets which are directly encourage students to imagine circumtances in the Solar System. Explenational of planets form and how the planets make the revolution and rotation in books are considered less material’s explanation because its only display objects in 2D. In addition, students can not practice directly in preparing the layout of the planets in the Solar System. By applying Augmented Reality Technology, information’s learning delivery can be clarified, because in these applications are combined the real world and the virtual world. Not only display the material, the application also display images of planets in 3D animation’s objects with audio.

Augmented Reality is the technology using which we can integrate 3D virtual objects in our physical environment in real time. Augmented Reality helps us in bring the virtual world closer to our physical worlds and gives us the ability to interact with the surrounding. This paper will give you an idea that how Augmented Reality can transform Education Industry. In this paper we have used Augmented Reality to simplify the learning process and allow people to interact with 3D models with the help of gestures. This advancement in the technology is changing the way we interact with our surrounding, rather than watching videos or looking at a static diagram in your text book, Augmented Reality enables you to do more. So rather than putting someone in the animated world, the goal of augmented reality is to blend the virtual objects in the real world.

In this chapter, the authors discuss a unique technology known as the Sixth Sense Technology, highlighting the future opportunities of such technology in integrating the digital world with the real world. Challenges in implementing such technologies are also discussed along with a review of the different possible implementation approaches. This review is performed by exploring the different inventions in areas similar to the Sixth Sense Technology, namely augmented reality (AR), computer vision, image processing, gesture recognition, and artificial intelligence and then categorizing and comparing between them. Lastly, recommendations are discussed for improving such a unique technology that has the potential to create a new trend in human-computer interaction (HCI) in the coming years.

Augmented Reality is a technology that can project objects from the virtual world to the real world. Augmented Reality continues to be developed so it can be easy to implement into various devices. However, the device must have a camera, VGA card, and the ability to process data that is high enough to be able to process and projecting graphical data that captured by the camera and displayed to the screen. Marker-based Augmented Reality is still better than Markerless Augmented Reality due to several issues such as disturbances in the geomagnetic sensor that is used to map the Y axis and Z device that belongs to the user.

Abstract: Augmented Reality is a combination of a real and a computer-generated or virtual world. It is achieved by augmenting computer-generated images on real world. It is of four types namely marker based, marker less, projection based and superimposition based augmented reality. It has many applications in the real world. AR is used in various fields such as medical, education, manufacturing, robotics and entertainment. Augmented reality comes under the field of mixed reality. It can be considered as an inverse reflection of Virtual Reality. They both have certain similarities and differences. This paper gives information about Augmented Reality and how it started. It analyses various types of augmented reality, its applications and its advantages and disadvantages. This paper also gives us knowledge regarding those major threats that augmented reality will face in the near future and about its current and future applications. It gives us a comparison between the two related topics, Augmented reality and Virtual reality. The following paper also helps us know about the effect of Augmented Reality on the human life.

The Bali museum is one of the museums in which objects of artistic, cultural and historical of Balinese against the invaders are kept. However, there are still few visitors coming to the museum. One way to increase a number of visitors is by using a technology in the form of interactive application for them. This research made visitors of Bali museum as subjects /user studies, while the designed application was aimed at knowing the users’ responses toward it. Previously, a study of mobile-based AR had been conducted to see the needs of the users. A guide in the form of text and sound were also added. Augmented Reality is a technology that combines virtual world and the real world simultaneously. AR technology requires a camera to capture the picture of marker whichwill display the 3D object from one of the Bali museum’s collections. The 3D object was created with software marker of 3D objects. In this study, both software blender and software unity were used to develop 3D object and the application of AR. The application runs on in 5 inch – screen Android devices and provide information in the form of Indonesian text and audio bilingual, both in Indonesian and English.

Augmented reality (AR) overlies manually made materials directly over the real-world materials. Augmented reality (AR) allows the physical world to be enhanced by incorporating digital knowledge in real time created by virtual machine. Few applications that have used augmented and virtual reality in real-world applications are discussed.

Indonesia adalah negara indah yang memiliki berbagai macam potensi alam, seni, budaya, sejarah, pendidikan, kuliner, religi, dan teknologi yang dapat dikembangkan sebagai daya tarik utama dibidang pariwisata. Namun kekayaan wisata tersebut juga membutuhkan media promosi yang semenarik mungkin salah satunya melalui aplikasi mobile seperti android. Penelitian ini menerapkan teknologi Augmented Reality (AR) dan Video 360°. Augmented Reality (AR) merupakan salah satu fitur canggih yang dapat diadopsi pada aplikasi android yang menggabungkan antara dunia nyata (real world) dan dunia maya (virtual world). Sedangkan Video 360° sebuah video yang dapat merekam seluruh pemandangan secara 360°. Hasil penelitian yang diharapkan adalah terciptanya sebuah aplikasi sebagai wadah untuk media promosi sekaligus sebagai sarana hiburan baru yang mampu mengangkat potensi wisata yang ada di Indonesia.
