In recent years, security has become a big issue for many applications to defend attacks from intruders. Exchanging credentials in plaintext might expose it to stealers. Many techniques are required to protect the data of the consumers from attackers. Cryptography has come up with a solution to provide security for the users to exchange data securely by the means of the process called as Encryption/ Decryption. In this field, there are basically two techniques of cryptography i.e Symmetric and asymmetric, developed to achieve a secure connection between the sender and receiver. These techniques provide specific goals in maintaining privacy by converting original message to non-readable form and sends it over a communication channel. The unauthorized members try to break the non-readable form but the difficulty depends upon the techniques that were used to encrypt the data. In this paper, we proposed a quadruple encryption algorithm consists of novel phase-shift algorithm, AES (Advanced Encryption Standard), TwoFish and RC4 and making it hard to attack by common methods.

Cryptography plays a major role in the network security. In order to secure the data one must do encryption of the original message. In this paper, the design and analysis of high speed and high performance BLOWFISH algorithm is implemented in VHDL coding and compared with AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) algorithm. The BLOWFISH algorithm involves the process of giving the data and key as input to the encryption block. BLOWFISH encryption algorithm is designed and programmed in VHDL coding. Then it is implemented in Xilinx 10.1. This research is carried in the following steps: designing of encryption algorithm, writing VHDL code, simulating the code on “ModelSim altera 6.5e”, synthesizing and implementing the code using Xilinx’s ISE 10.1.This research aims in developing flexible and technology independent architectures in the areas of VPN software, file compression, public domain software such as smart cards, etc. Also presents the comparison of BLOWFISH and AES algorithms. Experimental results show that BLOWFISH algorithm runs faster than AES algorithm while both of them consume almost the same Power.

One method of growing vegetables is to use hydroponics by utilizing water as the medium used. In this era of rapidly developing technology, one of which is Internet of Things (IoT) is a system between computers or objects that can connect and exchange data without requiring interaction, because the data sent is public data, a security system is needed to secure the data sent. Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) 128 bits are used to secure data sent by users or data received by users, using a private key so that data security is maintained. The process of encryption and decryption was carried out through the website using an Arduino Uno microcontroller, SoC version ESP 8266. To adjust the rules for controlling plant needs such as Total Dissolve Solid (TDS), Potential Hydrogen (PH), temperature, and distance, this study uses Sensor2. Database in the research used to facilitate computerized access to assist the process of caring for IoT-based hydroponic plants. The final results have been tested in the encryption decryption process, Avalanche Effect (AE), entropy and Bit Error Ratio (BER). The AE yield 58.01% as highest score, the highest entropy was 6.3566 while all data resulted in BER = 0.

<p>This paper proposes a new algorithm for text encryption utilizing English words as a unit of encoding. The algorithm vanishes any feature that could be used to reveal the encrypted text through adopting variable code lengths for the English words, utilizing a variable-length encryption key, applying two-dimensional binary shuffling techniques at the bit level, and utilizing four binary logical operations with randomized shuffling inputs. English words that alphabetically sorted are divided into four lookup tables where each word has assigned an index. The strength of the proposed algorithm concluded from having two major components. Firstly, each lookup table utilizes different index sizes, and all index sizes are not multiples of bytes. Secondly, the shuffling operations are conducted on a two-dimensional binary matrix with variable length. Lastly, the parameters of the shuffling operation are randomized based on a randomly selected encryption key with varying size. Thus, the shuffling operations move adjacent bits away in a randomized fashion. Definitively, the proposed algorithm vanishes any signature or any statistical features of the original message. Moreover, the proposed algorithm reduces the size of the encrypted message as an additive advantage which is achieved through utilizing the smallest possible index size for each lookup table.</p>

With the increasing use of multimedia in communications, the content security of remote-sensing images attracts much attention in both the academia and industry. The Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) is a famous symmetric cryptosystem. A symmetric remote-sensing image encryption algorithm using AES is presented. Firstly, to reduce the encryption times, the sender groups 16 pixel values together, and converts them into big integers; secondly, the sender encrypts big integers with AES and the chaotic system; finally, the encrypted image is obtained from encrypted big integers. Simulation data show that our algorithm exhibits both the high security and efficiency.

This article offers an example of using an application whose main task is to encrypt data such as files and private messages. Data encryption is performed using an encryption algorithm - xor. The XOR cipher is a data encryption algorithm using exclusive disjunction. Acquired widespread use in computer networks in the 90's due to the ease of implementation. Used to encrypt Microsoft Word documents in Windows. The XOR encryption algorithm is to "overlay" a sequence of random numbers on the text to be encrypted. A sequence of random numbers is called a gamma sequence, and is used to encrypt and decrypt data. If you use a key with a length at least equal to the length of the message, the XOR cipher becomes much more crypto-resistant than when using a duplicate key. For cryptological protection of information of the travel company Rest & Travel, EDcrypt software has been created, which performs the following functions: account login; inability to use the system without logging in to the account; notification of entering incorrect user data; message encryption; decryption of messages; the ability to select the recipient of the message; encryption of text files; decryption of text files; sending text files to selected recipients; three interface languages: English, Russian, Ukrainian

Data security is a progressing provocation for designers and Hackers. To battle different attacks by hackers, there is a need for increasingly solid security advancements. In this proposed system, a low complexity circular queue data structure security algorithm can be created. Numerous complicating variable components are used to enhance the quality of this algorithm and make recuperation of original message for hackers, becomes progressively troublesome. These tunable components are the size of the circular queue, the start of the picked keyword letter and the various portrayals of a number are in the Fibonacci manner. All letters ought to be changed over into ASCII binary configuration so as to be utilized by security algorithm in the sensible and shift operations. The outcomes demonstrate that our proposed security algorithm has half low complexity than analyzed multiple circular queues algorithm (MCQA). Fibonacci manner and variable number of difficult factors in this algorithm give adaptability in changing the security of the algorithm as per the conditions. Circular queue is an data structure can be utilized in the data security to make figured message progressively hard to disentangle. For example, a calculation that utilizes the moving and supplanting tasks of bi-section bi-push for round line to expand security. An irregular number was utilized in this algorithm to control the moving between the line and section, in the end this lead to expand the unpredictability of plaintext decrypting

Advanced Encryption Standard is one of the most popular symmetric key encryption algorithms to many works, which have employed to implement modified AES. In this paper, the modification that has been proposed on AES algorithm that has been developed to decrease its time complexity on bulky data and increased security will be included using the image as input data. The modification proposed itself including alteration in the mix column and shift rows transformation of AES encryption algorithm, embedding confusion-diffusion. This work has been implemented on the most recent Xilinx Spartan FPGA.

Substitution box is the non-linear part in Symmetric Encryption Algorithm. It gives the various alternate methods for the construction of S-Box by taking AES Substitution Box as base or modified version of AES S-Box. Hence it is proving that either AES S-box or modified version such as Gray S-Box, S8 S-Box is also satisfying the important parameters of S-Box such as nonlinearity, SAC, Bit Independence Criterion, Diffusion Strength, Differential Approximation probability while we are encrypting both the text and image
