This study was conducted to assess the ethical consumer practices of selected public and private senior high school of district 1 Tondo, Manila in terms of ecological consciousness and social consciousness. After assessing this, a proposed strategic learning plan for applied economics subject was formulated. This study used purposive sampling in the selection of schools participants, while convenience sampling for students as respondents in gathering data and information needed for the study and collecting data among the selected senior high schools in district 1 Tondo, Manila.  In the construction of the questionnaire, the researcher adopts and translate a validated research instrument with the permission of the original owner. The researcher sought the assistance among experts and master teachers coming from different schools to check tagalog translation and validation of the research instrument. Letter of request sent to the division’s office and principal of the school for the administration of the survey. The researcher personally administered the questionnaire to avoid problems that may occur. This study found out that students seldom practiced ethical consumer practices in public senior high school while students from private senior high school sometimes practice ethical consumer practices in terms of ecological consciousness and social consciousness. It is evidently implied with their answers in the survey. Through T-test of independent means, it was revealed that there is a significant difference on the assessment between the public and private senior high school students in ethical consumer practices because the assessment showed the extensiveness of the difference in terms of ecological consciousness and social consciousness of both public and private schools students. Furthermore, they need to strengthen their practices. A proposed strategic learning plan for applied economics subject specifically in consumption topic was formulated based from the findings of the study.

Initially the use of orthodontic appliance (braces) was intended to tidy up the teeth that had an irregular shape. The phenomenon of braces is increasingly prevalent among teenagers because in addition to health reasons then developed into a reason to support the appearance and eventually become a self-identity for adolescents. Finally, there are more victims of dental artisans who report disruption of oral health due to the installation of braces on dental artisans. Because the installation is not in accordance with the medical standard. The purpose of this study was to determine how senior high school student choose orthodontic treatment provider. To achieve these objectives, research was conducted using independent variables, namely knowledge, cost, distance, family support. The subjects of this study were 105 senior high school students. The subjects were taken using non-probability sampling and purposive sampling techniques. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression test by taking into account the simultaneous test, classic assumption and partial test, correlation test determinant. The results of this study indicate that the variable cost (p=0, 0001), distance (p=0,014) and consumer knowledge (p=0,014) significantly influence the dependent variable (consumer decision) while the family support variable (p = 1,000) has no effect. Different from family (p = 1,000 > 0.05) support that has no relationship with consumer decision-making to choose orthodontic treatment provider, service costs (p = 0, 0001 < 0, 05), the distance traveled by respondents (p = 0.014 <0.05) and knowledge of respondents (p = 0.014 <0.05) have relationship with consumer decision making to choose orthodontic treatment provider both in Public and Private High Schools, and Public and Private Vocational Schools in Marelan Subdistrict, respectively.

The study deals with the developing interactive media for senior high school students. The objective of this study is to find out how to develop interactive media for better speaking skill of senior high school students. The research was conducted by using Research and Development (R&D). The subject of this research was 2016/2017 students of the eleventh grade of Class XI IPA4 in SMAN 1 Batang Kuis. The number of the students was 30 students. The data of this study was collected by using need analysis questionnaire and experts’ judgment. Need analysis questionnaire was calculated by using percentage to get the information of students’ need before developing interactive media. Experts’ judgment was calculated by using likert data, mean and criteria interval of expert judgment to know the validity of interactive media which has been developed. After the data analyzed, it was found that the experts’ judgment result was 4.80 which had a very good criteria interval. The result of the research find that interactive media is a very good to be used in teaching speaking skill.

This study is about the characteristics of Physics Module to improve students of Senior High School reasoning ability-based on Multirepresentation. The problem of study is how characteristics of Physics Modules Based on Multirepresentation to improve students ability to reason? This problem is described in two study questions. First, is the Physics Module based on Multirepresentation contains examples of the application context of the image phenomenon ofphysics? Second, how is the writing pattern of Physics Module? This study is about Physics module development based on Multirepresentation, using the mix method model of investigation that collecting qualitative data, then construct the draft Module Physics, so the Module Physics ready to be validated. Subjects in this study is a Physics module which can improve the reasoning ability of students in Senior High School. While respondents were Senior High School students majoring in science at the students in Senior High School. Data collection techniques are observations, questionnaires, and documents. Data described in qualitative research. The results showed that the physics module based on Multirepresentation contains examples of application of the principle of material in the context of the image physical phenomenon ; and has a certain writing pattern, which has a chapter title sequence, sub-chapter title, instructions for use, a description of the material, sample questions, questions test capabilities, and bibliography.

Physics teaching materials for Senior High School that supporting the development of human resources that is able to adapt to any changes, to solve complex problems, creative thinking and familiar with information technology has not been widely available in senior high schools in West Sumatra. Based on the above, research that aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of Physics teaching materials that integrates Mathematics, Science, Technology, natural disasters, and the noble character (MSTBK) on WEB for Senior High School grade XI and to determine the effect of the use of teaching materials MSTBK on the learning outcomes of high school students in class XI. The quasi-experiment design research was comparing the learning outcome before and after the state of the object being treated. The treatments were using physics teaching materials that developed for teaching learning in Senior High School grade XI. The experiment was conducted at five senior high schools in West Sumatra were divided into 3 levels. The data were analyzed by using a statistical product moment and Anova. The research showed that the physics teaching materials that developed are effectively to improve student learning outcomes in Senior High School grade XI in West Sumatera with a correlation coefficient (r_xy) = 0. 31. Levene Statistic showed the average of the learning outcomes of high school students in grade XI was different, but yet rules Tukey HSD and Bonferroni statistics show that there are not significantly of 0.05 at a significance level in West Sumatra
