Working in confined space has very high risks, therefore, one of the hierarchy control to manage identified risk is administrative by implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The implementation of SOP correlates with the worker behaviors. The purpose of this research is to find out correlation between knowledge, facilities, and supervision to implementation behaviors of sop in confined space. This study is an observational descriptive research using cross sectional approach. The subject is a total population of 19 cleaning workers in Ducting Dust Collector PT. X . The data provided in distribution of frequency tables and was analyzed using crosstabulation followed with Phi and Cramers V Coefficient to see the relation strength. The result of the study shows that most of the workers has a good behavior in implementing the working SOP in  confined space. According to Phi and CramersV Coefficient, Knowledge (0,57) and Facilities (0,57) has a strong relation with the implementation behavior of SOP in confined space. Supervision has no relationship at all with the implementation behavior of working SOP within the confined space. Keywords: confined space, behavior, SOP

The implementation of supervising the head of a room in one hospital in Semarang has not been optimal due to the absence of a schedule, assessment instruments, guidance, documentation of supervision results, and standard operating procedures (SOP) supervision. Supervision activities are incidental in accordance with needs and have not been implemented in a structured and well-documented manner. The writing of this article aims to find out the description of the implementation of head supervision in a hospital in Semarang. This study uses descriptive research design. The subjects in this study were all heads of inpatient rooms. The object of this research is the implementation of the supervision of the head of the room according to the SOP and the results of documentation of the implementation of supervision. The instrument in this study used a draft sheet for evaluation of the superficial room leader evaluation. Shows that there is a change in the implementation of supervision based on the SOP before and after the dissemination of supervision is carried out to the head of the room. Documented supervision results can help the head of the room to see the extent of the ability of staff and can jointly improve capabilities, correct errors in improving the quality of nursing care services. The implementation of supervising the head of a room in one of the Semarang hospitals needs to be improved, especially in terms of post-supervision documentation, development of thematic supervision themes, and structured supervision scheduling.

The main principle in banking activities is the prudential banking principle, which is regulated by Act No. 10/1998 on Amendment of Act No. 7/1992 concerning Banking as well as in Law No. 21/2008 concerning Sharia Banking. This prudential banking principle in practice is often normally interpreted, i.e only related to the provision of bank credit, or sometimes misinterpreted, resulting in a misperception of how and when this principle is applied in banking activities. This research uses the normative juridical approach with analytical descriptive research specification. Data were analyzed by qualitative juridical. Based on the research result, prudential banking principle must be applied starting from an institutional level, banking process, and services, including in banking credit. Banks are required to ensure compliance with regulations, including standard operating procedures issued by banks.

Grasserie disease is one of the serious diseases caused by viruses. Its symptoms generally appear in the last instar of silkworm larvae or just before the formation of the cocoon. This study aimed to determine the level of attack, yield losses and dispersal patterns of grasserie at three sericulture center in South Sulawesi, Districs (Wajo, Soppeng and Enrekang). At each location 10 farmers were selected purposively as respondents. Direct observation was conducted to the farmer’s rearing rack (on farmer’s rearing bed) of silkworm using five replications. The results showed that the attack rates of grasserie were categorrised as very slight, ranging from 3.06 to 3.72 kgs of yield losses per each box with a uniform pattern of disease spread. Reared of  silkworms in accordance with standard operating procedures can reduce the rate of grasserie disease to avoid losing larger cocoon yields.

Abstract Background Although many studies emphasize the importance of using oxygen saturation (SpO2) targets in the NICUs, there is a wide variability in used saturation ranges among centers. Primary aim was to draw a representative picture on how the management of oxygen monitoring is performed in the Italian NICUs. Second aim was to identify healthcare-professionals related factors associated with oxygen targeting in the preterm population. Methods Cross-sectional study with data collection via an electronic survey form. A questionnaire containing pre-piloted and open questions on monitoring and management of the SpO2 was administered to neonatologists across the network of the Italian Society of Neonatology. The questions focused on: the infrastructure, specific training, healthcare professionals and patients-related factors. The results of the survey were anonymously collected, summarized and analyzed. Results Out of 378 questionnaires, 93 were correctly filled. Thirty-six different SpO2 ranges were observed. Centers using written standard operating procedures on oxygen management and SpO2 monitoring maintained a correct average range of SpO2 90–95%, avoided hyperoxia and reconsidered saturation targets in relation to comorbidities. 39.8% of responders disabled alarms during neonatal care. One center used biomarkers for complete monitoring of neonatal oxygenation status. Conclusions There is considerable variation in SpO2 targets for preterm infants in the Italian NICUs. Standard operating procedures and specific training for health care personnel are the main factors playing a role for the correct maintenance of the recommended oxygen targets in preterms.

AbstractObjective:To report the results of our preintervention investigation and subsequent 19-month three-phase intervention study designed to reduce pyrogenic reactions among patients undergoing cardiac catheterization using reprocessed catheters.Design:A case-control study for the preintervention period and a prospective cohort study for the intervention period.Setting:A 400-bed hospital in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.Participants:Any patient undergoing cardiac catheterization in the hospital.Interventions:Three intervention phases were implemented to improve the quality of the water supplied to the cardiac catheter reprocessing laboratory. Standard operating procedures for reprocessing cardiac catheters were established and reprocessing staff were trained and educated. Results:The rate of pyrogenic reactions decreased significantly during the intervention phases, from 12.8% (159 of 1,239) in phase 1 to 5.3% (38 of 712) in phase 2 to 0.5% (4 of 769) in phase 3 (chi-square test for linear trend, 97.5;P< .001).Conclusion:Improving water quality and using standard operating procedures for reprocessing catheters can prevent pyrogenic reactions in hospitalized patients.
