The risk of falling is an increased chance of falling which can later lead to physical injury. The risk of falling is every patient who is at risk for falling which is generally caused by environmental and physiological factors. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the implementation of prevention of patients at risk of falling at RSU Melati Perbaungan. This type of research used in this research is a type of qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. Data obtained by using in-depth interview guidelines (depth interview) to the respondents. The population is all nurses in the inpatient room of RSU Melati Perbaungan. The sample used non probability sampling with purposive sampling technique of 10 nurses. From the results, it can be concluded that the nurse understands the assessment of the risk patient, the nurse understands the initial assessment of the patient at risk of falling, the nurse understands the reassessment of the patient at risk of falling, the nurse understands the inhibiting factors (patient, family, and nurse factors), the nurse understands the supporting factors (factors motivation and infrastructure factors). The recommendations obtained based on the author's analysis are the need to conduct education and training for the nurse administrators, increase the number of human resources and education for the patient's family regarding the prevention of falling risk patients. Keywords: Melati Perbaungan General Hospital, Patient at Risk of Falling, In-depth Interview, Hospitalization.

Cancer that occurs in children does not only affect children, but also parents. Parents experience anxiety, stress, fear of losing their children, and helplessness in caring for their children, so that parents are less than optimal in caring for their children. Parent empowerment can increase parents' knowledge, confidence, and ability to care for their children. Previous research found several obstacles to parent empowerment carried out by nurses so that parent empowerment was not optimal in its implementation. Knowing barriers and supports in implementation of parent empowerment in caring for children with cancer can support implementation of parent empowerment to be more optimal. The purpose of this study was to explore barriers and supports in parent empowerment in caring for children with cancer based on the nurse's perception. The design of this study was qualitative research design with a phenomenological approach. The data was collected by in-depth interview method using semi-structured interview guidelines on six nurses who were selected by purposive sampling technique. The data analysis was carried out by thematic analysis with the analysis stage according to Colaizzi. The results of this study were resulted in four themes, namely parental attitudes, parental characteristics, attitudes of nurses, availability of nurses and facilities. This study concluded that implementation of empowering parents to care for children with cancer became more optimal by knowing the barrier and supports in empowering parents care for children with cancer and nurses could make more effective planning in caring for children with cancer.

AimsWe investigated the long-term performance of the Tripolar Trident acetabular component used for recurrent dislocation in revision total hip arthroplasty. We assessed: 1) rate of re-dislocation; 2) incidence of complications requiring re-operation; and 3) Western Ontario and McMaster Universities osteoarthritis index (WOMAC) pain and functional scores.Patients and MethodsWe retrospectively identified 111 patients who had 113 revision tripolar constrained liners between 1994 and 2008. All patients had undergone revision hip arthroplasty before the constrained liner was used: 13 after the first revision, 17 after the second, 38 after the third, and 45 after more than three revisions. A total of 75 hips (73 patients) were treated with Tripolar liners due to recurrent instability with abductor deficiency, In addition, six patients had associated cerebral palsy, four had poliomyelitis, two had multiple sclerosis, two had spina bifida, two had spondyloepiphyseal dysplasia, one had previous reversal of an arthrodesis, and 21 had proximal femoral replacements. The mean age of patients at time of Tripolar insertions was 72 years (53 to 89); there were 69 female patients (two bilateral) and 42 male patients. All patients were followed up for a mean of 15 years (10 to 24). Overall, 55 patients (57 hips) died between April 2011 and February 2018, at a mean of 167 months (122 to 217) following their tripolar liner implantation. We extracted demographics, implant data, rate of dislocations, and incidence of other complications.ResultsAt ten years, the Kaplan–Meier survivorship for dislocation was 95.6% (95% confidence interval (CI) 90 to 98), with 101 patients at risk. At 20 years, the survivorship for dislocation was 90.6% (95% CI 81.0 to 95.5), with one patient at risk. Eight patients (7.2%) had a dislocation of their constrained liners. At ten years, the survival to any event was 89.4% (95% CI 82 to 93.8), with 96 patients at risk. At 20 years, the survival to any event was 82.5% (95% CI 71.9 to 89.3), with one patient at risk. Five hips (4.4%) had deep infection. Two patients (1.8%) developed dissociated constraining rings with pain but without dislocation, which required re-operation. Two patients (1.8%) had periprosthetic femoral fractures, without dislocation, that were treated by revision stems along with exchange of the well-functioning constrained liners.ConclusionConstrained tripolar liners used at revision hip arthroplasty provided favourable results in the long term for treatment of recurrent dislocation and for patients at high risk of dislocation. DVT is an ordinary issue after surgery, long bed rest. Mostly it occurs in a hospitalized patient who is immobile and suffering from long term illness. ROM is a term that determines the quantity of movement of each joint. The easiest intervention to maintain or enhance joint movement and also the blood flow in patients. Objective: To evaluate the effectiveness of range of motion exercises on knowledge and practice of care givers of patients at risk of Deep Vein Thrombosis. Methodology: A Time Series Research Design was used to evaluate the effectiveness of range of motion exercises on knowledge and practice of care givers of patients at risk of Deep Vein Thrombosis. Purposive sampling technique was used to select 94 care givers of patient at risk of Deep Vein Thrombosis. Data was collected by Interview method with the help of structured knowledge questionnaire and structured practice checklist. Results: Mean pretest score was computed 11.01±1.8 and mean posttest score was computed 23.94±0.37. So, the mean posttest knowledge score of caregivers of patient at risk of Deep Vein Thrombosis and Range of motion exercises was higher than that of their mean pretest knowledge scores. Repeated Measure ANOVA was performed to find the difference in the practice score between three observations. Mean posttest practice score was higher than that of their mean pretest score. Mean pretest practice score was 7.59±1.10 and mean posttest practice scores were 9.67+0.51, 10±0. Conclusion: Present research Study concluded that intervention on range of motion exercises was effective to improve the knowledge and practices of care givers of patient at risk of Deep Vein Thrombosis.

Mental disorders are abnormal conditions that are either physical or mental. Out of these neuropsychiatric conditions are recorded patients with different nursing issues, one of which is violent behavior. Aggression is a form of behavior that is intended to harm someone physically and mentally to violent behavior patients. Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is one of the therapies to address the problem of aggression in patients at risk for violent behavior, where EFT helps balance the energy in the body causing emotional disturbance. The purpose of this study was to find out the influence of EFT on the aggressiveness of patients' risk of violent behavior at West Java Provincial Hospital. The type of research used is pre-experiment with the design of One Group Pretest Posttest. The sample size was 19 with a purposive sampling technique. Data collection for aggression level using the Aggression Questionnaire, whereas for EFT implementation using EFT therapy implementation guide. EFT is performed for 5 days, 1 day for 7 minutes. Data were analyzed using the Paired T-test. The results showed that aggressiveness before EFT was nearly complete (89.5%) of high-risk patients with high levels of aggression, whereas aggressive levels after partial EFT (52.6%) of high-risk violence patients had high levels of aggression. The results showed p-value = 0.000 and it was concluded that there is an influence of the Emotional Freedom Technique on the level of aggression of patients at risk of violent behavior. Based on the results of this research it is recommended that the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) can be an alternative therapy in helping to deal with issues of aggression.
