This paper intends to analyze the principal's benchmarking strategy in improving the quality of human resources at SMA Nurul Jadid, Paiton, Probolinggo in an institution, namely to develop competitiveness. The method used is a qualitative approach through case studies So that it can encourage the quality of good institutional resources. This research provides strategic implications for benchmarking institutions in order to meet the complexities of the demands of the community in Islamic boarding schools to equalize those of high schools outside the pesantren. Even higher quality. As for the efforts made by Nurul Jadid Senior High School in improving the quality of human resources by increasing foreign language skills, Class Acceleration Provide motivation to every school member to continue to improve their performance to match the expectations of all parties. So that the quality of human resources in an institution can be created.

Background. Dysmenorrhea is a major gynaecological complaint among females who have reached menarche. It is one of the major causes of absenteeism of females from schools and at the workplaces resulting in loss of productive working hours and work efficiency. Owing to socioeconomic and cultural differences, females from different backgrounds perceive and manage dysmenorrhea differently. Little is known about the use of complementary and alternative medicines (CAM) in the management of this condition by females in senior high schools in Ghana. Thus, this study sought to assess the use of CAM in the management of dysmenorrhea among female students in two senior high schools in Ghana. Methods. A school-based cross-sectional study using a quantitative approach was conducted on a total of 478 female students attending Archbishop Porter Girl’s Secondary School and Mporhor Senior High School. Information on the sociodemographic characteristics, lay representations of dysmenorrhea, pain intensity and severity, quality of life, self-management, and the use of CAM in the management of dysmenorrhea were obtained. The data were analysed using SPSS. Results. 79.3% of the students used some form of CAM to manage dysmenorrhea. Of CAM users, 32% were utilizing mind-body medicine such as endurance and relaxation, 31% used the whole and alternative medicine such as the hot water therapy, 15% used biological-based medicine such as herbal products, and 22% used the manipulative and body-based systems such as exercises. Various CAM methods and products were perceived to be effective in relieving the pain and discomfort associated with dysmenorrhea in about 90% of the participants who used them. Significant associations were reported for pain severity and quality of life (QoL). Conclusions. This study has demonstrated that the female students experiencing dysmenorrhea employ various CAM remedies in its management. Therefore, there is the need for education on the right management of dysmenorrhea to ensure that safe and efficacious CAM products and methods are used by adolescent female students.

Scientific approach is a teaching strategy using scientific steps in teaching subject matter at senior high school in Indonesia. Scientific approach has the characteristics of “doing science” that allows teachers to improve the process of learning by breaking the process down into steps which contain detailed instruction for conducting student learning. Although the scientific approach offers significant breakthrough in improving the quality of teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL) at Senior High School in Indonesia, there were still some obstacles faced by English teachers. This study aimed at investigating the implementation of scientific approach to teach English at Senior High School in Indonesia and problems of teaching and learning in implementing scientific approach. The data were collected through observation of teaching learning process and interview with the teachers and the students in two senior high schools in Padang, Indonesia. The findings showed that, among the five steps of scientific approach, the teachers were not able to implement the observing and questioning steps optimally yet. Meanwhile, in experimenting and associating the teachers have applied them well, and in communicating the teachers have applied them optimally.

Abstract: The success of schools in improving the quality of education cannot be separated from the role of the principal. Headmaster. This study aims to describe (1) the role of the principal as empowering the human resources of the teaching and educational staff. (2) supporting factors for the success of school principals as empowering human resources for teaching and educational staff. (3) obstacles faced by school principals as empowering human resources for teaching and educational staff. (4) Headmasters' efforts as empowering human resources for teaching and educational staff in overcoming school problems. This research uses a multi-site study. This research was conducted at Senior High School YKHS and Senior High School Darul Munir. Data obtained through interviews, observation, and study documentation. The results of this study indicate that (1) the role of the head of YKHS and Darul Munir senior high schools as empowering human resources is to involve teachers and staff in managing school programs, managing curriculum, creating a conducive learning climate and achievement, involving teachers in training to improve their competence, facilitate facilities and infrastructure to support school activities, plan budgets, conduct student management activities, specifically assign teachers to oversee the program, and conduct supervision. (3) Internal factors that support success are the togetherness of the teachers to optimize their potential and the sincere desire to run the school program that has been planned together. External factors are strong student guardian support for programs that have been run by schools. (3) Internal constraints faced are limited time from teachers to carry out or run the program to the maximum extent possible. The external obstacle is the student's guardian awareness of the school program. (4) Efforts made in improving the quality of schools to overcome internal and external problems are communicating to teachers to be more active in carrying out or carrying out planned programs.Keywords: Principal, Empowerment, Human Resources. Abstrak: Keberhasilan sekolah dalam menigkatkan mutu pendidikan tidak lepas dari peran kepala sekolah. (3) Faktor internal yang menjadi pendukung keberhasilan yaitu kebersamaan guru-guru untuk mengoptimalkan potensi yang dimiliki dan keinginnan yang ikhlas untuk mejalankan program sekolah yang telah direncankan bersama-sama. Faktor eksternalnya yaitu dukungan wali murid yang kuat pada program yang telah dijalankan oleh sekolah. (3) Kendala internal yang dihadapi adalah keterbatasan waktu dari guru-guru untuk melakukan atau menjalankan program dengan semaksimal mungkin. Kendala eksternalnya adalah kesadaran wali murid akan program sekolah tersebut. (4) Upaya yang dilakukan dalam meningkatkan mutu sekolah untuk mengatasi masalah internal dan eksternal adalah mengkomunikasikan kepada guru-guru untuk lebih aktif melakukan atau menjalankan program yang telah direncanakan.Kata kunci: Kepala Sekolah, Pemberdayaanan, Sumberdaya Manusia

Abstract Building the quality of the workforce in the marine and fisheries sector through formal education is a strategic step to improve the quality of human resources to support the national economy. Workers with skills and competency are capital in increasing economic growth. This study aims to examine the readiness of trained workforces in the marine and fisheries sector in the globalization era, especially in Industry Era 4.0. This study employs qualitative analysis with a case study approach and is represented descriptively. The results show that almost all graduates of marine and fisheries vocational schools were employed. However, some findings are discovered: 1) lack of practice facilities in vocational schools; 2) lack of ability of graduates of foreign language vocational schools; 3) the internship program for prospective trained workers, especially in foreign industries, has not been facilitated by the government. Some recommendations should be considered: 1) allocate a higher budget to add or improve facilities and infrastructure, 2) increase hours of study on foreign language skills or invite professional native teachers to improve foreign language skills, and 3) promote cooperation with foreign industry to manage internship programs abroad before entering the industry.

Al-Musthofawiyah senior high school is a private Islamic education institution located in Palang-Tuban. This institution pays attention to the Arabic grammar of science which among them are the grammar of Nahwu. However, Nahwu's grammar of learning were still considered quite difficult to be understood. Media is very instrumental in supporting the language skills of students in institutions and schools, because media is an important element that can affect the learning activeness of students. In this article the author conducted a study that aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of the media "Nahwu Mapping" in the learning of nahwu grammar in this school. Teaching supervision by principal in Aceh Besar State High Schools (especially in Excellent Senior High School 2 of Ali Hasjmy and Senior High School 1 Baitussalam) is one of factors to improve the quality of professional teacher performance. The purpose of this study was to identify the activities, techniques, implementations, supporting and inhibiting factors in teaching supervision by principals in improving teacher performance. The subjects of this research were principals, vice principals, and teachers. This study used qualitative approach and descriptive method. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors of teaching supervision were the principals had other activities outside the school and did not have adequate time for the supervision, principal’s demonstration technique was still conventional, there was lack of fund, and there were teachers who were not creative and some of them were susceptible to illness (age factor).

Implementation of e-Government in the service of Education Zones is one way to realize government services in the field of education and aims to equalize the quality of education. The purpose of this study is to find out how e-government implementation in the Education Zone service in Makassar City. This study uses a qualitative approach that is descriptive in nature. The subjects of the research were the Head of the Education Office, the headmaster of junior and senior high school students, parents. The results showed that the implementation of e-government in the service of education zones was not yet fully targeted because of the lack of standardization of the quality of teachers and infrastructure so that improvements and standardization in improving the quality of education were needed.
