Abstract: The success of schools in improving the quality of education cannot be separated from the role of the principal. Headmaster. This study aims to describe (1) the role of the principal as empowering the human resources of the teaching and educational staff. (2) supporting factors for the success of school principals as empowering human resources for teaching and educational staff. (3) obstacles faced by school principals as empowering human resources for teaching and educational staff. (4) Headmasters' efforts as empowering human resources for teaching and educational staff in overcoming school problems. This research uses a multi-site study. This research was conducted at Senior High School YKHS and Senior High School Darul Munir. Data obtained through interviews, observation, and study documentation. The results of this study indicate that (1) the role of the head of YKHS and Darul Munir senior high schools as empowering human resources is to involve teachers and staff in managing school programs, managing curriculum, creating a conducive learning climate and achievement, involving teachers in training to improve their competence, facilitate facilities and infrastructure to support school activities, plan budgets, conduct student management activities, specifically assign teachers to oversee the program, and conduct supervision. (3) Internal factors that support success are the togetherness of the teachers to optimize their potential and the sincere desire to run the school program that has been planned together. External factors are strong student guardian support for programs that have been run by schools. (3) Internal constraints faced are limited time from teachers to carry out or run the program to the maximum extent possible. The external obstacle is the student's guardian awareness of the school program. (4) Efforts made in improving the quality of schools to overcome internal and external problems are communicating to teachers to be more active in carrying out or carrying out planned programs.Keywords: Principal, Empowerment, Human Resources. Abstrak: Keberhasilan sekolah dalam menigkatkan mutu pendidikan tidak lepas dari peran kepala sekolah. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa (1) peran kepala SMA YKHS dan SMA Darul Munir sebagai pemberdayaan SDM yaitu melibatkan guru dan pegawai dalam pengelolaan program sekolah, melakukan pengelolaan kurikulum, mewujudkan iklim belajar dan berprestasi yang kondusif, mengikutkan guru-guru dalam pelatihan untuk meningkatkan kompetensinya, memfasilitasi sarana dan prasarana pendukung kegiatan sekolah, merencanakan penganggaran, mlakukan kegiatan pengelolaan kesiswaan, menugaskan secara khusus guru-guru untuk mengawal program, dan melakukan pengawasan. (3) Faktor internal yang menjadi pendukung keberhasilan yaitu kebersamaan guru-guru untuk mengoptimalkan potensi yang dimiliki dan keinginnan yang ikhlas untuk mejalankan program sekolah yang telah direncankan bersama-sama. Faktor eksternalnya yaitu dukungan wali murid yang kuat pada program yang telah dijalankan oleh sekolah. (3) Kendala internal yang dihadapi adalah keterbatasan waktu dari guru-guru untuk melakukan atau menjalankan program dengan semaksimal mungkin. Kendala eksternalnya adalah kesadaran wali murid akan program sekolah tersebut. (4) Upaya yang dilakukan dalam meningkatkan mutu sekolah untuk mengatasi masalah internal dan eksternal adalah mengkomunikasikan kepada guru-guru untuk lebih aktif melakukan atau menjalankan program yang telah direncanakan.Kata kunci: Kepala Sekolah, Pemberdayaanan, Sumberdaya Manusia

This study aims to explore the pivotal role of the school principal in escalating his/her capacity as a supervisor. Supervision constitutes one of the principal’s duties that needs to be carried out for the purpose of supervising, evaluating performance, guiding, and motivating teachers to be able to make improvements, maintain teaching quality, and organize a better learning process. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed in this library research. The findings demonstrate the roles that principals take to maximize their role as a supervisor. Firstly, the principals should be able to understand the nature of supervision. This indicates that this re-understanding aims to enhance the process of supervision and guidance to teachers so as to improve the quality of their performance and teaching processes. Secondly, principals should be able to adapt and adopt various approaches to the implementation of supervision. The application in the supervision approach can be noticed in the exchange of information between principals and teachers, including the quality of learning. Thirdly, school principals should be able to increase human resources. The improvement should be carried out systematically and continuously through professional development. This illustrates that the principals’ role as a supervisor is very essential to promote the professionalism of teachers and educational staff.

<p>The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation of school based management in proving the quality of teachers In State Senior High School No.4 OKU. This research uses qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. The informants as sources in this study were the principal. Deputy principal, teachers, administrative staff and guardian of students. In collecting the data the researcher used were observation, interview and documentation techniques. Based on the research result it can be concluded that First, the principal in State Senior High School No.4 OKU is capable of implementing school based management well. Second, there is an increase in teacher quality as seen from teacher completence. Third, school principals is able to improve teacher quality through planned and gradual programs. Fourth, the principal is able to improve the quality of the school.</p>

This paper intends to analyze the principal's benchmarking strategy in improving the quality of human resources at SMA Nurul Jadid, Paiton, Probolinggo in an institution, namely to develop competitiveness. The method used is a qualitative approach through case studies So that it can encourage the quality of good institutional resources. This research provides strategic implications for benchmarking institutions in order to meet the complexities of the demands of the community in Islamic boarding schools to equalize those of high schools outside the pesantren. Even higher quality. As for the efforts made by Nurul Jadid Senior High School in improving the quality of human resources by increasing foreign language skills, Class Acceleration Provide motivation to every school member to continue to improve their performance to match the expectations of all parties. So that the quality of human resources in an institution can be created.

Guru merupakan faktor kunci mutu pendidikan dan kemajuan sebuah bangsa. Negara yang kurang memperhatikan tenaga pendidiknya akan sulit maju, karena kualitas generasi penerus di tentukan oleh guru. Untuk itu, tujuan dalam artikel ini adalah menjelaskan peran kepala sekolah dalam memotivasi guru honorer untuk meningkatkan kualitas kompetensi profesionalitas. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Jenis wawancara yang di gunakan adalah wawancara terstruktur, dan tidak terstruktur. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis interaktif. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan dampak bahwa peran kepala sekolah dalam memotivasi guru honorer dapat meningkatkan kualitas kompetensi profesionalitas dengan cara menggunakan strategi pengembengan kompetensi profesionalitas guru berupa memberi motivasi, mengevaluasi kinerja guru secara berkala, memberikan pembinaan dan penguatan kepada guru, dan memberikan pelatihan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi melalui seminar, FGD, pelatihan dan workshop kompetensi profesionalitas. The teacher is a critical factor in the quality of education and the progress of a nation. Countries that pay less attention to their educators will find it challenging to progress because the teacher determines the next generation's rate. For this reason, the purpose of this article is to explain the role of school principals in motivating honorary teachers to improve the quality of professional competence. The method used in this research is qualitative research methods. Data collection methods in this study are observation, interviews, and documentation. The type of talk that is used is structured and unstructured interviews. The data analysis technique used interactive analysis. The results of this study have an impact that the role of the principal in motivating honorary teachers can improve the quality of professional competence by using a strategy of developing teacher professional competence in the form of encouraging, evaluating teacher performance regularly, providing guidance, and strengthening to teachers, and providing training to improve competence through seminars, FGDs, training and professional competency workshops.

Taufik, Sagaf S. Pettalongi, and Sidik Sidik. The paper discusses  the contribution of Islamic education values in marriage according to the customs of the tribe in district of Banggai Bulagi. The fourth paper is tittled “The Role of Environment in Improving Learning Quality:  A Case Study of Al-Istiqamah Modern Islamic Boarding School” written by Rara Pratiwi, Kamaruddin Kamaruddin, and Adawiyah Adawiyah. The paper discusses the role of learning environment in improving the quality of learning students in modern boarding school Al-Istiqamah Ngatabaru. The fifth article is titled “Effectiveness the Use of Audio Visual Media in Teaching Islamic Religious Education” written by Winarto Winarto, Ahmad Syahid, and Fatimah Saguni. The paper discussed  the effectiveness of using audio visual as media in improving learning achievement of a Islamic Junior high school. The last paper  is title “The Role of Islamic Education Teachers Competency in Improving the Quality of Education” written by Zuhaeriah Zuhaeriah, Moh. Ali, and Yusra Yusra. This research has the goal to the rise of ideology kiaiat State Senior High School (SMAN)Darussholah in the progress of the implementation of quality education organized by the government. There is avery dominant influence from outside that affects the process of the ongoing education. This study concludesthrough the analysis that the inclusion of ideology kiaiinterfere with the development of education in SMANDarussholah to become a professional educational institution. It is necessary for the role of government inproviding facilities and infrastructure to achieve professional education institutions. Likewise with the kiai byentering ideology kiai should be able to provide infrastructure such as dormitories and human resources toimprove the quality of education in the boarding school.

Abstract: Education is the main thing in Indonesia in improving the quality of human resources. The role of the principal is very important to help improve the quality of education. This study aims to describe 1) the role of the principal in improving the quality of education in elementary schools Muhammadiyah 4 Malang. 2) efforts made by school principals in improving the quality of education in elementary school Muhammadiyah 4 Malang. In this research method using qualitative descriptive methods. The results of the study stated that 1) the role of the headmaster in improving the quality of education in elementary school Muhammadiyah 4 Malang was as a manager, leader, supervisor, administrator, educator, innovator, and motivator. 2) The principal's efforts in improving the quality of education in elementary school Muhammadiyah 4 Malang City include: a) making all improvements in all aspects of improving the quality of education; b) planning and preparing activity plans; c) coordinate the distribution of learning activities; d) supervise and evaluate teachers regarding learning activities; e) coordinate in carrying out all school activities.Keywords: The Role of Principals, Quality of Education, Elementary School Abstrak: Pendidikan merupakan hal utama di Indonesia dalam meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia. Peran kepala sekolah sangat mempengaruhi untuk membantu meningkatkan mutu pendidikan. Dalam metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa 1) peran kepala sekolah dalam peningkatan mutu pendidikan di sekolah SD Muhammadiyah 4 Kota Malang adalah sebagai manajer, pemimipin, supervisor, administrator, edukator, inovator dan motivator. 2) Adapun upaya kepala sekolah dalam peningkatan mutu pendidikan di sekolah SD Muhammadiyah 4 Kota Malang diantaranya: a) melakukan semua perbaikan dalam semua aspek peningkatan mutu pendidikan; b) melakukan perencanaan dan penyusunan rencana kegiatan; c) mengkoordinasi pembagian kegiatan pembelajaran; d) melakukan supervise dan evaluasi guru mengenai kegiatan belajar; e) berkoordinasi dalam melakukan semua kegiatan sekolah.Kata kunci: Peran Kepala Sekolah, Mutu Pendidikan, Sekolah Dasar

This paper discusses the role of the principal as a supervisor in improving the quality of education. Principals as leaders of educational institutions should be responsible for all school / madrasah activities. He has full authority and responsibility to conduct all educational activities including supervision activities, both academic supervision and managerial supervision within the school / madrasah he leads. Principal As Supervisor serves to guide, assist and direct educators and educational staff to appreciate and implement the procedures of education to support the quality of education.This paper discusses the role of the principal as a supervisor in improving the quality of education. Principals as leaders of educational institutions should be responsible for all school / madrasah activities. He has full authority and responsibility to conduct all educational activities including supervision activities, both academic supervision and managerial supervision within the school / madrasah he leads. he Prapanca 2 Surabaya Vocational High School (SMK) majoring in accounting is one entity that is willing to compete and is skilled and professional inwelcoming the Industrial Revolution 4.0. So far, the principal has prepared a strategy to improve the quality of graduates to suit the needs of the businessmarket (Business World (DU)/Industrial World (DI)). Some of the strategies used in aligning education with the demands of the 4.0 Industrial Revolution erainclude improving the quality of sarpras (facilities and infrastructure) in the learning process based on industrial needs (Link and Match) during the IndustrialRevolution 4.0 period, the fulfillment of DU/DI standard facilities and infrastructure and increasing teacher competence is focused on the era of theIndustrial Revolution 4.0. The role of the principal has a point of view broad, open, disciplined, firm, and committed.
