Al-Musthofawiyah senior high school is a private Islamic education institution located in Palang-Tuban. This institution pays attention to the Arabic grammar of science which among them are the grammar of Nahwu. However, Nahwu's grammar of learning were still considered quite difficult to be understood. Media is very instrumental in supporting the language skills of students in institutions and schools, because media is an important element that can affect the learning activeness of students. In this article the author conducted a study that aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of the media "Nahwu Mapping" in the learning of nahwu grammar in this school. This study uses a qualitative approach with a type of classroom action research

ABSTRAK Masih kurang  minatnya siswa dalam belajar khususnya pelajaran matematika,  salah satu sebab adalah  metode yang digunakan oleh guru masih konvensional dan siswa bekerja secara individu, sehingga siswa yang kurang mampu kesulitan dalam memahami konsep dengan benar.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar bilangan berpangkat dengan  model problem posing pada siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 4 Batu.Penelitian ini menggunakan desain  Penelitian Tindakan Kelas  (Classroom Action Research),  pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan  kualitatif yaitu penelitian yang datanya tanpa menggunakan teknik statistik. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi.Berdasarkan data yang diperolah dari pelaksanaan tindakan mulai siklus 1 sampai dengan siklus 2 dan berdasarkan hasil observasi tiap-tiap siklus terjadi peningkatan prestasi yaitu siswa yang mendapat nilai kurang dari KKM dari 17 siswa menjadi 7 siswa, mengalami peningkatan siswa yang mendapat nilai memenuhi KKM dari 18 menjadi 27 siswa, dan rata-rata tes siswa dari  62,29 menjadi 71,76 mengalami kenaikan 2,47%, serta prosentase ketuntasa juga mengalami peningkatan dari 48,6% menjadi 79,4% meningkat 30,8%.Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan pendekatan model problem posing dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa khususnya pada materi bilangan berpangkat. Kata Kunci: Peningkatan hasil belajar, Bilangan berpangkat, Problem Posing ABSTRACT The lack of student’s study interest especially on mathematics, one of the reason is the method is still conventional and students work individually, with the result that students harder to understanding the concept correctly. The purpose of this research is improving learning outcome on exponential numbers with problem posing model in 3rd years students on State Junior High School Batu. This research using Classroom Action Research design and qualitative approach, which is the research that not using statistics technique. This Classroom Action Research executed in two cycle. Every cycle consist of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Based on data that obtained from the 1st cycle until 2nd cycle and based on observation from every cycle there is an achievement increase that is students that having under the minimum learning mastery standard from the initial is 17 students increase to 7 students, then there is increase the numbers of students that having on the minimum learning mastery standard from 18 to 27 students, and the average of students’ test from 62,29 to 71,76 (increasing 2,47%), so the percentage of learning mastery increased from 48,6% to 79,4% increase for about 30,8%. This shows that Problem Posing approach can increasing student’s study result especially on exponential numbers subject. Keyword: Increase of study result, Exponential numbers, Problem Posing

This paper intends to analyze the principal's benchmarking strategy in improving the quality of human resources at SMA Nurul Jadid, Paiton, Probolinggo in an institution, namely to develop competitiveness. The method used is a qualitative approach through case studies So that it can encourage the quality of good institutional resources. This research provides strategic implications for benchmarking institutions in order to meet the complexities of the demands of the community in Islamic boarding schools to equalize those of high schools outside the pesantren. Even higher quality. As for the efforts made by Nurul Jadid Senior High School in improving the quality of human resources by increasing foreign language skills, Class Acceleration Provide motivation to every school member to continue to improve their performance to match the expectations of all parties. So that the quality of human resources in an institution can be created.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar Matematika materi irisan dan gabungan dua himpunan dengan menerapkan Portal Rumah Belajar pada Kelas VII A SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Surabaya tahun ajaran 2012 - 2013. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dua siklus dan tiap siklus terdiri dari 4 langlah yaitu : (1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan, (3) observasi, dan (4) refleksi.Hasil penelitian Penggunaan Portal Rumah Belajar pada siswa Kelas VII A SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Surabaya, terbukti meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa, sebelum tindakan siswa yang tuntas belajar sebanyak 22 siswa atau 73,3 %, pada Siklus I siswa yang tuntas sebanyak 23 siswa atau 76,7 %. sedangkan pada Siklus II siswa yang tuntas sebanyak 28 siswa atau 93,3 %. Dengan demikian kualitas pembelajaran dari sebelum tindakan sampai dengan Siklus II terjadi peningkatan. Saran dalam PTK ini adalah: Guru harus memotivasi siswa untuk belajar secara inovatif mempergunakan media pembelajaran. Guru hendaknya memiliki paradigma bahwa guru bukan satu-satunya sumber belajar. Pembelajaran Matematika hendaknya disampaikan dengan menggunakan media yang mampu menyenangkan siswa dan mampu membuat siswa aktif. Kata Kunci: Himpunan, Portal Rumah BelajarAbstract: Math is considered difficult and students have less motivation in learning math. That is why teacher must provide approprite learning medium to ease the students to learn math. The aim of this study was to increase students’ mathematic learning achievement on intersection set and union set by applying the Portal Rumah Belajar for Seventh Grade A of Muhammadiyah 1 Junior High School Surabaya year 2012 - 2013. The design of the study was Classroom Action Research. In this study two cycles were conducted, and each of which consisted of 4 steps, namely: (1) plan, (2) act, (3) observe, and (4) reflect. The use of Portal Rumah Belajar could increase the achievement of seventh grade students of Muhammadiyah 1 Junior High School Surabaya. The number of student passing the competency in the pre-action was 22 students or 73.3%, in the cycle was 23 students or 76.7%, and in the cycle II were 28 students or 93.3%. Thus the quality of learning increased between pre-action and the second cycle. Recommendation from this classroom action research was: teacher should motivate students to learn innovatively by using instructional media. Teachers should have a paradigm that teacher was not the only source of learning. Learning math should be submitted using the media to please students and be able to keep students active. The Implementation of “ARIAS” Strategy to Increase Students’ Speaking Skill at SMA Negeri 1 Bungoro. The objective of the research is intended to know the increasing of the students’ accuracy and fluency in speaking through ARIAS strategy at third-year students’ of SMA Negeri 1 Bungoro. The method of this research is classroom action research consist of two cycles. Both of cycles consist of four meetings. It means that there are eight meetings for two cycles. The subject in this research is X.3 Senior High School in 2011-2012 academic years. That consists of 17 women and 35 men. Instruments are speaking test and observation.Keywords: Speaking, Assurance, Relevance, Interest, Assessment, Accuracy, Fluency and Satisfaction.Penerapan Strategi "ARIAS" untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Siswa Berbicara di SMA Negeri 1 Bungoro. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah ingin mengetahui peningkatan akurasi siswa dan kefasihan dalam berbicara melalui strategi ARIAS pada siswa tahun ketiga dari SMA Negeri 1 Bungoro. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas terdiri dari dua siklus. Kedua siklus terdiri dari empat pertemuan. Ini berarti bahwa ada delapan pertemuan selama dua siklus. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah X.3 SMA tahun 2011-2012 tahun akademik. Yang terdiri dari 17 perempuan dan 35 laki-laki. Ada 2 intrumen yang digunakan tes berbicara dan observasi.Kata Kunci: Berbicara, Jaminan, Relevansi, Bunga, Pengkajian, Akurasi, Kefasihan dan Kepuasan.

Aims: The objective of this research was to investigate and analyze a programme model called Snake’s Singer to improve the ensemble skills of 10th grade matriculation-class students of SMA Taruna Nusantara. Study Design:  The design of this research is classroom action research. Place and Duration of Study: This research was conducted at Taruna Nusantara Senior High School, Magelang, Indonesia on November 16 - December 5, 2020. This research was conducted at Taruna Nusantara Senior High School. The implementation of activities is 60 minutes in 6 meetings on November - December 2020. Methodology: This type of classroom action research is carried out in two cycles; each cycle consists of 4 stages (planning, implementing the action, observing and reflecting). The data collection technique used the performance test by assessing the TIPPS (Tone, Intonation, Phrasing, Precision, and Style) aspects. Descriptive statistics is used to analyze the data. Results: The result shows that there is an improvement in students' musical instrument playing skills. This is proven by the increase of the average score achieved by students as followed 64.3 for pre-cycle, 73.8 for cycle I, and 81.1 for cycle II.

Writing has been one of the most significant skill to acquire by high school students. In fact, students still find it difficult due to weak mastery of writing components and limited practice as well as exposure and facility. On these ground, utilizing MALL in hybrid learning setting is assumed to enhance their writing skill. Employing qualitative approach with classroom action research design conducted in 3 cycles, 20 high school students were involved in this study. The data were obtained using observation, test and interview. The findings suggested that online writing application can help promoting students’ writing skill proven by the score increase from cycle 1 to 3 as well as their participation. The students either perceived the MALL application positively.

This article was to improve the students’ speaking skill at the eleventh grade at sate senior high school 10 Bandar Lampung through Hassle Lines Strategy. Classroom Action Research was used in this method, with the sample of twenty six students that consist of 8 male and 18 female.In cycle of Hassle Lines Strategy, 81% the students prepare the conversation actively, 92% students practice orally, 65% students can mention the body language, and 85% students share to the teacher. From questionnaire, the researcher got the data Hassle Lines Strategy implementing was 91% of student agree and 9% of student disagree, the positive respond accomplished. From the test, 81% of students passed the KKM in post Hassle Lines Strategy implementing. Keywords: Hassle Lines Strategy, Speaking Skills, Learning Strategy

The peer teaching method is an exercise technique in learning in which students or participants present their ideas or opinions to other fellow participants. With this peer-to-peer method, it is expected that students' ability to write paragraphs will increase and be more directed based on the method given by the teacher. Therefore, this study aims to find out how to improve the ability to write paragraphs using the peer teaching method in senior high school. The research method used in this research is peer-to-peer method which is directed to describe the variable or ability to write paragraphs in senior high school students class X SMA Negeri 35 Jakarta with classroom action research (PTK). Based on the results of data analysis by looking at the results of the teaching-learning process, there was an increase in the ability to write paragraphs for aspects of unity, integration, development, as well as spelling and punctuation carried out by teachers from cycle I (78.31%) to cycle II (87.27%) with average of 13.46%. In addition, the evaluation obtained from each cycle also experienced increase of 35.13% in cycle II from Cycle I.Keywords: Pharagraps Writing skills; Peer Teaching Method; Classroom Action Research

The purposes of this research are to find out; 1) how to improve English speaking ability of the tenth grade students at Harapan-I Medan through the application of storytelling method, and 2) how the students� responses to storytelling as a learning method. This research was a Classroom Action Research applying Kemmis McTaggart Model. �The research was done in two cycles in which each cycle consists of four stages: plans, actions, observations, and reflections. The subjects in this research were students of Grade X-6 of Senior High School Harapan-I Medan. The object of this study was the application of the Storytelling method to improve the students� English speaking ability. Based on the results of the research, it was found that the percentage of completeness from pre-action, Cycle-I, and Cycle-II increased at Senior High School Harapan-I Medan. The percentage of student�s completeness in pre-action was 27%, in the Cycle-I was 47%, and in the Cycle-II was 70%. There was a significant increase (43%) from pre-action, cycle-I, and cycle-II. In addition, students� enthusiasm, courage, and activity have also increased. Thus, it can be concluded that storytelling method has improved the speaking ability of the tenth grade students of Senior High School Harapan-I Medan and increased their response, enthusiasm, courage, and activity to speak English.Keywords: speaking ability; English; storytelling; folklore; classroom action research.

The research aimed at improving the ability of the Eleventh-grade students of Senior High School of Unismuh Makassar in writing descriptive text using the Brain-Sketching Technique. For the purpose, it employed Classroom Action Research in which the researcher worked in planning, implementation, observation, and reflection on the data collected from the teaching and learning process and the students' writing products. The method of this research is Classroom Action Research that consists of two cycles. One cycle consisted of four meetings. It means that there were eight meetings for two cycles. This classroom action research was done in Senior High School of Unismuh Makassar for English subject. As subjects in this research are class XI IPA 2 in 2012-2013 academic years which consists of 26 students. Those consisted of 14 women and 12 men. The instruments used were writing test and observation sheet. The study was conducted in a diagnostic test, cycle one and cycles two, each cycle was carried out in four meetings.  The objective of the research was intended to know the improvement of the students’ writing ability after using Brain-Sketching Technique at the Eleventh-grade students of Senior High School of Unismuh Makassar. The findings indicated that using Brain-Sketching Technique could improve the students' ability in writing descriptive text. Before giving implementation the researcher gave the students diagnostic test and the mean score of diagnostic test was 63.90 as classification “fairly good”. Then the researcher conducted the first cycle and the second cycles, and the result showed that the students' scores in the first and second cycles improved. In the first cycle, the mean score of students was 67.22 as classification “fairly good”, meanwhile the mean score of students in the second cycle was 71.41 as classification “good. It means that the improvement of students’ writing ability from D-Test to cycle I was 5.21%, the cycle I to cycle II was 6.22%, D- test to cycle II was 11.73%.
