In this study, a total of 311 questionnaires were used through SPSS 21.0 to analyze the effect of hairdressers' job crafting on customer orientation and work performance. The results of the survey are as follows. First, hairdressers' job crafting appeared in three dimensions: cognitive crafting, work crafting, and relationship crafting, and customer orientation came in three dimensions: problem-solving orientation, response orientation, and appearance orientation. In addition, work performance came in two dimensions: individual performance and organizational performance. Second, it was found that job crafting had a significant effect on customer orientation and work performance. Therefore, it was found that the reorganization of the hairdresser's appropriate work (appropriate distribution of work, identifying the importance of work, etc.) affects customer propensity and work performance. This study is expected to be used as basic data for hairdressers' job crafting activities, and research on job crafting related to segmentation by age group and positive psychology of hairdressers is expected to be conducted in the future.

This study aims to understand the effect of salon selection factors on customer satisfaction and customer loyalty through SNS to provide marketing strategies to increase salon profits through SNS. In the SPSS 21.0 program, frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, and multiple regression analysis were performed using data from the final 301 part of the questionnaire. The results of the survey are as follows. First of all, the characteristics of SNS were universal and tangible, divided into information, reliability, and beauty salon options. In addition, customer satisfaction and customer loyalty are divided into a single dimension. Second, it was reported that the more the latest information on SNS characteristics is recognized, the higher the customer satisfaction and customer loyalty are. Third, it was found that the more reliable objective information on the factors for selecting beauty salons through SNS was recognized, the higher customer satisfaction and customer loyalty were. Taken together, it is expected that a differentiated education system through SNS will be introduced, and sales will improve by positively affecting customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. In subsequent studies, more reliable studies are expected to be conducted through age diversification and segmentation of various variables.

Purpose: This research was administered to investigate the influence of spiritual leadership on organizational commitment and organizational commitment on organizational performance seen through multidimensions where spiritual leadership is in three dimensions namely vision, faith/hope, and altruistic love; organizational commitment in three dimensions namely affective, normative, and continuity, while organizational performance is in two dimensions which are financial and nonfinancial performance. Design/Method: The population selected in this study included 1,422 members of Village Credit Institution (LPD) in Bali Province including the chairman, secretary, and treasurer. Samples were selected by using the probability sampling technique which is a simple random sampling in which the sample size [Formula: see text] was drawn from a population of magnitude [Formula: see text], allowing each unit to have the same chance of being selected. The obtained data were then analyzed using a Structural Equation Modeling based on analysis of moment structure (AMOS), with multidimensions in each research variable. Findings: The results of the analysis show that vision, faith/hope, and altruistic love have a significant influence on affective commitment, normative commitment, and continuity commitment. On the other hand, affective, normative, and continuity commitment share a certain influence on financial performance. However, it is only the normative commitment that influences nonfinancial performance. Originality: The novelty of this research is in the effort to reconstruct the previous research model to obtain a new one that combines two research models; the spiritual leadership model and the A-Three Component Model of Organizational Commitment. The new model is expected to solve the inconsistencies of previous research results and solve various problems related to leadership and organizational commitment as variables that influence LPD performance.

A wide variety of organizational practices have been proposed to support the creation, storage and transfer of knowledge, yet it is often unclear how these practices relate to one another in their contribution to organizational performance. This study develops a categorization system for knowledge management practices in higher education based on two dimensions: the practices' role in the problem-solving process, and the type of problem they address. Analysis of survey data supports the proposed framework and uncovers two higher order factors that correspond to the concepts of exploration and exploitation. By focusing attention on the importance of problem-solving in transforming knowledge into business value, this research suggests a new way to understand the connection between knowledge management practices and organizational goals.

Purpose – the purpose of the article is to reveal the role of the three dimensions – mutuality, empowerment and fit – in organizational performance and productivity with the main emphasis on creative knowledge work. The scientific problem could be expressed in the goal to identify the relationships between these elements and elicite research gaps to be filled. Research methodology – the methodology of the article used consists of scientific literature review, analyses and synthezes, structural equation modelling. Findings – in the part of the literature review the theoretical models are presented as the base and grounding for the creation of an empirical model. Research limitations – the main limitation of this research is the exclusion of risks and hazards in the workplaces as the focus is on the main positive factors which influence the performance. Avoiding negative dimensions limits prevention of emerging forces which usually require recourses. By investigating risk elements may give a more accurate view to the whole picture in organizations. Practical implications – the practical implication of the research results may identify the areas in SHRM policies which could require new or improved practices. Originality/Value – there are very limited number of researches which combine human resource and knowledge management, so the main novelty of this study is to answer one questions specific to one discipline by using findings of the other field

Abstract. In this study, we explored the network of relations between fluid reasoning, working memory, and the two dimensions of complex problem solving, rule knowledge and rule application. In doing so, we replicated the recent study by Bühner, Kröner, and Ziegler (2008) and the structural relations investigated therein [ Bühner, Kröner, & Ziegler, (2008) . Working memory, visual-spatial intelligence and their relationship to problem-solving. Intelligence, 36, 672–680]. However, in the present study, we used different assessment instruments by employing assessments of figural, numerical, and verbal fluid reasoning, an assessment of numerical working memory, and a complex problem solving assessment using the MicroDYN approach. In a sample of N = 2,029 Finnish sixth-grade students of which 328 students took the numerical working memory assessment, the findings diverged substantially from the results reported by Bühner et al. Importantly, in the present study, fluid reasoning was the main source of variation for rule knowledge and rule application, and working memory contributed only a little added value. Albeit generally in line with previously conducted research on the relation between complex problem solving and other cognitive abilities, these findings directly contrast the results of Bühner et al. (2008) who reported that only working memory was a source of variation in complex problem solving, whereas fluid reasoning was not. Explanations for the different patterns of results are sought, and implications for the use of assessment instruments and for research on interindividual differences in complex problem solving are discussed.

Happiness-oriented people are vital in every society; this is a construct formed by three different types of happiness: pleasure, meaning, and engagement, and it is considered as an indicator of mental health. This study aims to provide data on the levels of orientation to happiness in higher-education teachers and students. The present paper contains data about the perception of this positive aspect in two Latin American countries, Mexico and El Salvador. Structure instruments to measure the orientation to happiness were administrated to 397 teachers and 260 students. This data descriptor presents descriptive statistics (mean, standard deviation), internal consistency (Cronbach’s alpha), and differences (Student’s t-test) presented by country, population (teacher/student), and gender of their orientation to happiness and its three dimensions: meaning, pleasure, and engagement. Stepwise-multiple-regression-analysis results are also presented. Results indicated that participants from both countries reported medium–high levels of meaning and engagement happiness; teachers reported higher levels than those of students in these two dimensions. Happiness resulting from pleasure activities was the least reported in general. Males and females presented very similar levels of orientation to happiness. Only the population (teacher/student) showed a predictive relationship with orientation to happiness; however, the model explained a small portion of variance in this variable, which indicated that other factors are more critical when promoting orientation to happiness in higher-education institutions.

Abstract We study the torus partition functions of free bosonic CFTs in two dimensions. Integrating over Narain moduli defines an ensemble-averaged free CFT. We calculate the averaged partition function and show that it can be reinterpreted as a sum over topologies in three dimensions. This result leads us to conjecture that an averaged free CFT in two dimensions is holographically dual to an exotic theory of three-dimensional gravity with U(1)c×U(1)c symmetry and a composite boundary graviton. Additionally, for small central charge c, we obtain general constraints on the spectral gap of free CFTs using the spinning modular bootstrap, construct examples of Narain compactifications with a large gap, and find an analytic bootstrap functional corresponding to a single self-dual boson.
