The research’s quantitative design as a systematic approach of the relation among the variables focusing on the hypothesis testing done by data analysis tools using GLS Regression test of panel data. Profitability determinants of net profit margin, total assets turnover and financial leverage multiplier showed the result of positive and significant effect toward ROE (return on equity), while growth sales ratio showed the negative and significant effect. In terms of the relationship toward value of firm, the ROE and industry types were proven to have significant positive contributions. This implied that the management must be more efficient and effective in managing the company operational activities and minimizing the operational costs and other costs, both in the assets and debt usage to have maximal product results, to increase sales, net income, profit rate and return of equity where they will affect the increasing of investors’ and the market’s trust toward the firms since the increasing of return on equity for the owners and the shareholders. The different characteristics, traits and features of the industry’s types resulted in the different use of strategies in managing the firms’ operational activities. This study explores whether voluntary delisting of companies from stock exchanges can be predicted by the DuPont Model. ROE (Return on Equity), NPM (Net Profit Margin), ATO (Assets Turnover) and LM (Leverage Multiplier) of 13 voluntarily delisted firms from Karachi Stock Exchange were compared with same ratios of respective sectors for 6 years preceding the delistment year by applying t-test. Difference of means of DuPont ratios between voluntarily delisted firms and their respective sectors were not found statistically significant. Thus, ROE, NPM, ATO and LM, which are the measures of profitability, asset utilization (efficiency) and leverage respectively, are not the significant predictors of voluntary delisting decisions in Pakistan. To the best of researchers knowledge, this study is first attempt to differentiate between voluntarily delisted and listed companies on the basis of DuPont Model.

This study was conducted to examine the effect of bank performance and macroeconomics on capital buffer in banks listed on the Indonesia stock exchange in the 2014-2018 period. There are 26 banks that become the sample of this study after purposive sampling. The capital buffer used is the difference between the Capital Adequate Ratio and the minimum capital determined by the regulator. While the independent variables used consist of bank performance, namely Return on Equity, Bank Size, Liquidity, Non-Performing Loans, Net Profit, Loan Growth and Total Loans over Total Assets. Macroeconomic variables also become a factor that is analyzed on the effect of bank capital buffer. By using the Generalized Method of Moment (GMM) regression model, it can be seen that the bank's performance variables measured through Return on Equity, Liquidity, Net Profit and Total Loan over Total Assets have a significant effect on banking capital buffer in Indonesia. Whereas macroeconomic variables measured through GDP do not have a significant effect on banking capital buffer in Indonesia.
