Manusia membutuhkan bimbingan ajaran agama dalam setiap langkahnya agar tidak terpengaruh kepada kemaksiatan. Pemenuhan bimbingan dalam ajaran agama salah satunya dengan mengikuti kajian, majelis taklim maupun mengikuti komunitas yang memiliki visi misi yang sama. Gerakan Pemuda Hijrah, Pemuda Istiqamah, juga dari kalangan artis/public figure membentuk komunitas Musawarah atau juga dikenal dengan The Squad Musawarah. Fenomena public figure yang berhijrah dengan menutupi tubuhnya menggunakan pakaian tertutup dan jilbab menjadi fenomena yang menarik untuk diteliti. Metode peneltianyang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Tujuan penelitian ini melihat kepada pengalaman berhijrah public figure di komunitas Musawarah, motif dan konsep diri serta niat dalam memaknai hijrah. Hasil daripada penelitian ini adalah: 1) pengalaman yang terjadi dalam berhijrah pada public figure termasuk pada hijrah fikriyah yakni hijrah pemikiran dan perilaku untuk meninggalkan kesenangan dari pekerjaan agar mendapatkan ketenangan disana (ridho Allah). 2) motif yang terjadi dalam proses berhijrah yaitu motif masa akan datang (in order to motive) juga motif karena. Dimana in order to motive (motif harapan) yakni dipandang memiliki tujuan yang digambarkan sebagai maksud, rencana dan harapan ke depannya (akhirat), juga termasuk perasaan untuk menjadikan kehidupannya adalah milik Allah SWT menjadikannya berserah diri dan memilih untuk menurut pada apa yang seharusnya dijalankannya saat ini. Sedangkan because motive (motif merujuk pada masa lalu) berhubungan dengan masa lalunya sebagai public figure yang dekat dengan kehidupan ajaran agama Islam sehingga, memiliki tujuan untuk menjadikan keluarga yang sakinah bersama dengan suami. 3) Niat berhijrah untuk menjadi lebih baik dalam iman, tulus serta ikhlas dalam memaknai setiap kejadian dalam hidupnya sebagai teguran dan petunjuk dari Allah SWT. Niat tulus untuk mencapai ridho-Nya bukan karena manusia.

Ketatnya persaingan di dunia industri dan bisnis menuntut sebuah perusahaan untuk lebih kreatif memasarkan produknya. Perusahaan akan sulit bertahan dalam menghadapi persaingan tanpa adanya strategi kreatif dan inovatif untuk mempengaruhi konsumen. Dalam kasus ini peneliti memilih produk shampoo Pantene. Pantene menggunakan public figure terkenal dalam mempromosikan produknya (brand ambassador). Lebih dari sekedar pembeda dengan kompetitornya, peran brand ambassador justru memiliki andil yang besar dalam membentuk persepsi konsumen. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus untuk mengeksplorasi dan memahami makna pada iklan produk shampoo Pantene. Peneliti kemudian menganalisis iklan shampoo Pantene tersebut secara induktif dan melakukan penafsiran makna dengan menggunakan teori semiotika Pierce. Hasil analisis dari penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa komunikasi periklanan tidak lagi menawarkan produk secara gamblang dan kaku, tetapi melalui eksekusi iklan yang kreatif dan menarik. Dari sudut pandang semiotika, terlihat bahwa iklan tidak hanya memberikan informasi tentang suatu produk atau jasa saja, tidak juga hanya berusaha memasarkan produk secara persuasif, tetapi telah melebar pada pengkondisian situasi dan kondisi tertentu pada sekelompok masyarakat. Dengan menggunakan brand ambassador, produk shampoo Pantene dapat mempertegas asosiasi merek dan menciptakan citra positif terhadap konsumen melalui produk yang diiklankan.Keywords: Semiotika, Iklan, Multimedia, Brand Ambassador

These two articles analyse the importance of J.J. Moreau de Tours’ work and its influence on the development of descriptive psychopathology from the mid-nineteenth century to the present. The first article focused on biographical aspects and presented Moreau’s main works in their social and cultural contexts. This second article critically analyses Moreau’s contributions from different perspectives: epistemological, psychopathological, clinical, therapeutic, and it also discusses his role as a public figure.

A special correspondent for the leading Egyptian newspaper al-Ahram wrote from Alexandria on 28 May 1936: “One of the effects of the Al-Bosfur nightclub murder in Cairo is that its circumstances have led to an interest in the problem of ‘al-futuwwat’ [sing., al-futuwwa] and how much power and influence (al-sat˙wa) they have in the capital and in other Egyptian cities.” The murder referred to was that of a popular singer and dancer, Imtithal Fawzi, by a band of assassins led by failed businessman and weight-trainer Fuad al-Shami. I argue here that this murder can be read as an instance of a larger event, which might be inscribed in the following way: a moment that irrevocably branded the public figure of futuwwa with the additional meanings of thug, mobster, and nefarious villain—bal ˙tagi. This is not the conventional way of registering this moment; indeed, the modern transformation of al-futuwwa is rarely considered as a historical event. It is not my aim here to affirm or deny the outcome of this transformation, nor am I suggesting that the normative conception of al-futuwwa as an Islamic ideal of masculinity had never before had any negative connotations. Rather, I posit—and want to interrogate—a changed historical relationship in the constitution of al-futuwwa, in which the nature of history itself was radically transformed and contributed to the formation of a new politics and a new subject of politics. As part of the hegemonic rise of this field of politics and its subject, history typically shows, or simply presumes, that other life-worlds, like that of the futuwwat and their particular form of power, were rendered exceptional and ultimately obsolete. In a larger project from which this article is drawn, I explored the gendered constitution of that new cultural and political hegemony. I labeled the gender norm that emerged at the intersection of colonial modernity and nationalism as effendi (bourgeois) masculinity, which I located in a new constellation of practices and discourses around the desirable, modern body. The present essay is in part an effort to de-center this bourgeois figure and the terms of its narration, which I unwittingly reproduced in the original study by rendering the event of the futuwwa's transformation as a bit part within a larger story of ostensibly greater national and historical import.

Одной из сфер многогранной деятельности видного государственного и общественного деятеля Осетии Георгия (Гаппо) Васильевича Баева являлось христианское просвещение, которое он видел в развитии осетинского языка и осетинской письменности, в издании богослужебной, научно-просветительной и художественной литературы на осетинском языке, в становлении национальной периодической печати. Отмечены заслуги Баева в этих областях культурной жизни Осетии. Рассмотрена его деятельность в качестве цензора религиозно-просветительского журнала на осетинском языке Чырыстон цард ( Христианская жизнь ), как одного из организаторов Осетинского издательского общества Ир , а также секретаря и председателя Общества распространения образования и технических сведений среди горцев Терской области. Особое внимание уделено переизданию Святого Евангелия на осетинском языке в новой редакции, его участию в выходе в свет поэмы А.Кубалова фхрдты Хсан и сборника стихотворений К.Л.Хетагурова Ирон фндыр , в издании газеты на осетинском языке. Показан его вклад в дело собирания и издания устного народного творчества осетин. Отмечена организационная и практическая помощь Баева выдающемуся русскому ученому В.Ф.Миллеру в период его работы над осетинско-русско-немецким словарем. Акцентировано внимание на активном участии Баева в жизни православной церкви, его помощи в ремонте и строительстве православных храмов и школ. Сделан вывод о том, что его активная деятельность по христианскому просвещению в Осетии оставила глубокий след в истории осетинского православия, способствовала развитию национальной культуры и формированию самосознания осетин. One of the spheres of multifaceted activities of the prominent state and public figure of Ossetia Georgy (Gappo) Vasilyevich Baev was Christian education, which, in his opinion, lay in the development of the Ossetian language and Ossetian writing, in the publication of liturgical, scientific and educational literature in the Ossetian language, in the formation of the national periodical press. Baevs merits in these fields of the cultural life of Ossetia are noted. His activity as a censor of the religious and educational magazine in Ossetian Chyryston tsard (Christian life), Secretary and Chairman of the society for the dissemination of education and technical information among the mountaineers of the Terek region, one of the organizers of the Ossetian publishing society IR is considered. Special attention is paid to the reissue of the Holy gospel in the Ossetian language in a new edition, the publication of A. Kubalovs poem fhrdty Hsan and the collection of poems by K.L. Khetagurov Iron fndyr, the publication of the newspaper in the Ossetian language. His contribution to the collection and publication of oral folk art of Ossetians is shown. Russian scholar V.F. Miller in his work on the Ossetian-Russian-German dictionary received organizational and practical assistance from G.Baev. Attention is focused on the active participation of Baev in the life of the Orthodox Church, assistance in the repairing and construction of Orthodox churches and schools. It is concluded that his active work on Christian education in Ossetia left a deep mark in the history of Ossetian Orthodoxy, contributed to the development of national culture and the formation of self-consciousness of Ossetians.

This first biographical account of M. Aldanov was authored by M. Uralsky, a writer of documentary prose. While not a strict academic publication, the book shows a thorough approach to selection of the material and verification of facts and introduces hitherto unknown documents, thus qualifying as a compelling piece of scholarly research. The book’s three parts are dedicated to key periods of Aldanov’s life: ‘A young Aldanov — happy years’ (1886–1917), ‘A historical novelist of Russian emigration’ (1919–1940), and ‘The twilight of life and work’ (1947–1957). Uralsky uncovered a number of new materials relating to Aldanov’s childhood and adolescence and his work in emigration, completing a reconstruction of the writer’s life. The biographer examines Aldanov’s personality as an artist, a literary critic, a journalist and a scholar. The book’s leitmotif is to actualise Aldanov’s idea of writers dedicating themselves to kalokagathia — the ‘moral beauty.’

The purpose of this research is to know the implementation in the political marketing of Gerindra Party and some factors encouraging the party to gain a wide range of constituent voters in the legislative elections 2014. The aforementioned evidence reveals that Gerindra Party approached middle class down society and youth, on determining intended voters and this party also focusing on small society (farmer, fisherman, labour, teacher and small trader). In terms of positioning, Gerindra Party put themselves in outside of the government and acknowledge them as the party for small society. In Indonesian political constellation, it can be seen that political party has a high correlation with the power of public figure to increase popularity and electability. Gerindra Party is still introduced Prabowo Subianto as a public figure who can be used to gain a number of voters for the party.
