Neste trabalho, teve-se por objetivo avaliar a durabilidade e o desempenho de um protótipo de sistema de pulverização (NOTLIADA), acoplado ao sistema de irrigação pivô central, quanto ao conjunto de emissão; ao conjunto eletro-eletrônico de acionamento; a válvula solenóide; e a adaptação de uma tubulação de cloreto de polivinila (PVC), de instalação predial soldável. Os testes foram realizados em um protótipo do sistema, montando em uma área anexa ao Laboratório de Hidráulica do Departamento de Engenharia Rural (LER), pertencente à Escola Superior de Agricultura “Luiz de Queiroz” - ESALQ/USP. Os resultados obtidos evidenciaram que não houve alteração, a 5% de significância, da vazão dos quatro tipos de conjuntos de emissão testados em 505 horas intermitentes de avaliação. Também a 5% de significância, não houve variação dos diâmetros dos emissores. O circuito eletro-eletrônico, a válvula solenóide, a tubulação de material PVC (cloreto de polivinila) soldável e os demais dispositivos da barra de pulverização operaram satisfatoriamente no mesmo período de avaliação confirmando a confiabilidade do sistema de pulverização desenvolvido. ABSTRACT This work aimed to evaluate the durability and performance of the pulverization system prototype (NOTLIADA) attached to center pivot irrigation system. The flow emission sets, electronic actuation, solenoid valve and the adaptation of a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) pipe were evaluated. Tests were performed on a prototype system, riding in the Laboratório de Hidráulica of the Departamento de Engenharia de Biossistemas, belonging to the Escola Superior de Agricultura "Luiz de Queiroz" - ESALQ /USP. The results showed no change, 5% significance level, in the flow of the four different emission sets tested in intermittent evaluation and also, no significant variation of the emitters diameters. The circuit electronics, solenoid valve, pipe and other devices of the spray bar operated satisfactorily during the same period of evaluation confirmed the reliability of the pulverization system developed.

A longitudinal study for 847 bladder cancer patients for a period of fifteen years is presented. After the first surgery, the patients undergo successive ones (recurrences). A state-model is selected for analyzing the evolution of the cancer, based on the distribution of the times between recurrences. These times do not follow exponential distributions, and are approximated by phase-type distributions. Under these conditions, a multidimensional Markov process governs the evolution of the disease. The survival probability and mean times in the different states (levels) of the disease are calculated empirically and also by applying the Markov model, the comparison of the results indicate that the model is well-fitted to the data to an acceptable significance level of 0.05. Two sub-cohorts are well-differenced: those reaching progression (the bladder is removed) and those that do not. These two cases are separately studied and performance measures calculated, and the comparison reveals details about the characteristics of the patients in these groups.

The success development in the health fields is concentrated at the attempts to reduce the mortality rate of infants and toddlers at the same time. The purpose of this research is to analyze whether there is a correlation between knowledge and performance of the health care workers to the number of the babies, specifically the ones under five years old, to visit the posyandu as an integral part of the Lubuk Baja Health Centre in Batam.This study is a descriptive analytic research with 56 respondentsthat covers all health care workers in the service area ofLubuk Baja Health Care. The data is analyzed using Chi Square statistical test at significance level of 95%. The result reveals that based on the respondents’ characteristic, it was obtained 56 respondents have good knowledge level and able to apply their knowledge to posyanduactivities. Besides, it is also noted that 44 respondents have well performance. On the other hand, the researchersdiscover 28 toddlers getgood treatment meanwhile 28 of them are not treated very well. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is no significant correlation between knowledge levels and performance of the health care workers to the number of theunder-five years children to visits the posyanduwhich indicated by  each of p> 0.05 for knowledge and performance. In general, knowledge and good performance of posyandu cadres and society surroundingsaretwo very important aspects to improvethe number of the children to attend the posyandu. As the suggestion, it is expected that theposyandu cadres and society to be more concerned about the presence of posyandufor benefit of the newborns as well as the enhancement of the health sciences for life.

Foram apresentados fatores importantes na produção de massa seca de forrageiras tropicais, como temperatura, radiação solar, adubação e água. Também foram apresentadas as vantagens e desvantagens do sistema, bem como uma breve discussão de sua viabilidade econômica. Concluiu-se que a irrigação de pastagens pode ser uma técnica economicamente viável para regiões específicas do Brasil, considerando-se os fatores envolvidos e esclarecendo que apenas o fornecimento de água às culturas não resolve o problema da estacionalidade durante o inverno. UNITERMOS: pivô central, forrageiras, viabilidade econômica  AZEVEDO, L. It was concluded that pasture irrigation is a feasible and economical technique to some specific Brazilian regions, depending on appropriated parameters. An effort is underway to develop streaming readout data acquisition system for the CLAS12 detector in Jefferson Lab’s experimental Hall-B. Successful beam tests were performed in the spring and summer of 2020 using a 10GeV electron beam from Jefferson Lab’s CEBAF accelerator. The prototype system combined elements of the TriDAS and CODA data acquisition systems with the JANA2 analysis/reconstruction framework. This successfully merged components that included an FPGA stream source, a distributed hit processing system, and software plugins that allowed offline analysis written in C++ to be used for online event filtering. Details of the system design and performance are presented.

Irrigation door is a big issue for farmers. The factor that became a hot issue at the irrigation gate was the irresponsible attitude of the irrigation staff regarding the schedule of opening/closing the irrigation door so that it caused the rice fields to becoming dry or submerged. In this research, an automatic prototype system for irrigation system will be designed based on integrating several sensors, including water level sensors, soil moisture sensors, acidity sensors. This sensor output will be displayed on Android-based applications. The integration of communication between devices (Arduino Nano, Arduino Wemos and sensors supporting the irrigation system) is the working principle of this prototype. This device will control via an Android-based application to turn on / off the water pump, to open/close the irrigation door, check soil moisture, soil acidity in real time. The pump will automatically turn on based on the water level. This condition will be active if the water level is below 3cm above ground level. The output value will be displayed on the Android-based application screen and LCD screen. Based on the results of testing and analysis of the prototype that has been done in this research, the irrigation door will open automatically when the soil is dry. This condition occurs if the water level is less than 3 cm. The calibrated Output value, including acidity sensor, soil moisture sensor and water level sensor, will be sent to the server every 5 seconds and forwarded to an Android-based application as an output display.

The tomato crop is almost totally irrigated. Among the irrigation methods utilized, mechanized sprinkling by center pivot stands out in tomato cultivation. A cultural treatment used in the tomato is the synchronization of the irrigations with the applications of the pesticides since with the leaf wetting the plants become unprotected and susceptible to diseases. In an attempt to reduce pesticide applications, growers seek to increase the time between irrigations, however, there are limitations, inherent to the soil and the irrigation system itself. The objective of this work was to simulate the soil water runoff tendency for irrigation management in the tomato crop, simulating three different types of soils (sandy, medium and clayey), three declines (0, 5 and 10%), and two types of deflectors (I-Wob and Spray). For this, four pivot sizes (25, 50, 75 and 100 ha) were defined and the methodology of maximum allowable precipitation estimated by the Newton-Raphson numerical technique was used to verify the different runoff conditions. The results showed that clayey soils are more susceptible when compared to medium and sandy soils, to surface runoff. Pivots of 100, 75 and 50 ha present greater susceptibility to runoff, with 25 ha being the best suitability for infiltration capacity in both soils. There is a percentage reduction of the maximum allowable rainfall of 40.74 % (±1.54) when the terrain is plan and pass to have 5% inclination and 22.99% (±1.47) between 5 and 10 %. I-Wob type deflectors have a better distribution of application, a consequently better relation with the maximum allowable precipitation intensity and less possibility of the surface runoff.
