This article utilizes structural change method to examine the fluctuation characteristics of stock prices of China’s small and medium enterprises. This study indicates that time series of Chinese small and medium-sized enterprises stock prices are not characterized by mean reversion. Therefore, the policy bailouts in the market including the rescue package of the government in June 2015 are ineffective because they are offset by other factors. The long-run growth of stock prices depends on the supply and demand situation in capital market as well as the growth of national economy but has no connection with the policy bailouts.

The aim of the study was to investigate the investors’ opinions concerning the usefulness of behavioral factors for investment decisions. The research was carried out in the group of 100 investors, using the services of five brokerages with a long history of operation. The results of the research show that people’s psychological conditions and sentiment in the stock market play an important role in the decision-making process of investors in the capital market. The importance of this factor increased with the length of the investment period. The emotional states of people and their psychological conditions affect the stock price volatility. However, the complexity of the determinants of stock prices makes the market value of stocks can be affected by many factors at the same time and investors seem aware of this.

The outburst of COVID-19 has not only distressed the economic and social activities of Indian economy but also the world economy as a whole. Out of different economic activities, the micro, small and medium Enterprises (MSMEs) affected a lot. This article attempts to measure the contribution of MSMEs towards Indian economy and also attempts to find out the challenges and problems in pre- and during COVID period. We have used different descriptive statistics to measure the impacts of MSMEs and also use of correlation and co-integration to measure the relationship among the variables such as number of MSMEs, investment amount, employment and output. This pandemic is an exceptional shock for MSMEs. It is evident that there is a high degree of significant positive correlation among the variables. Johansen’s co-integration analysis resulted in the rejection of the null hypothesis signifying the existence of long-run co-integrating relationship. Given the extensive COVID-19 chaos, the government needs to establish an ongoing monitoring system and declare urgent relief steps to improve the MSMEs sector’s confidence. E-market linkage for MSMEs should be promoted, and fiscal stimulus should increase for this sector. The Government of India should take various measures to improve Indian MSMEs and achieve the vision of Self-reliant India.

Therefore SMEs must continue to consult with the government regarding CSR activities, which factors of CSR are most beneficial for all parties in business activities. SMEs must also focus on factors of price competition and competitive advantage to improve the image of SMEs and enhance competitiveness. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Competitiveness, SMEs

It focused on Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) taxpayers to participate in COVID-19 tax incentives. Using a qualitative method, this study used in-depth interviews with 2 informants who were a tax consultant and a small-medium enterprise accountant. The low participation of MSMEs in utilizing tax incentives can be seen from the data, which shows that after 5 months of running the program, out of around 2.3 million MSMEs, only 200,000 have taken advantage of this facility. The tax consultant states that the scheme that has been implemented in mitigating the financial burden of MSMEs is not effective for the object of incentives in not substantial. The informant suggests incentives to cover value-added tax also. The government is expected to create a new and better incentive scheme. The new incentive scheme is also to provide an equilibrium of responsibility for both government and society. This paper contributes theoretically by examining new types of tax incentives, namely COVID-19 tax incentives, and helping policymakers make better tax incentive schemes in the future.

Following the COVID-19 pandemic, Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a critical role in supporting national economic growth. The MSME sector has been particularly hard hit by the COVID-19 pandemic, which has disrupted supply and demand as well as supply chains, causing the economy's wheels to grind to a halt at the MSME level. MSMEs must be supported by the government and other stakeholders in order to grow and develop. The goal of empowering MSMEs is to achieve a balanced, developing, and equitable national economic structure, as well as to boost regional development, job creation, income distribution, economic growth, and poverty alleviation. The East Java Provincial Government has developed a policy as a strategy for empowering MSMEs in East Java, so that MSMEs are not disrupted in their development process during the pandemic. Keywords : strategy, MSME empowerment, pandemic

Abstract The Covid-19 pandemic came as a major shock to the economies around the world. To buy some time in order to plan, execute and implement measures to prevent and face the pandemic around 50 nations across globe implemented lockdown. India announced the spring lockdown in March 2020. Given the agile healthcare system, huge population and under-development the nation had to extend the lockdown. One of the worst hit sectors because of the lockdown were the Micro, Small and Medium enterprises (MSMEs). The sector looked forward for economic incentives and packages from the government. In June 2020 the ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat Abhyaan’ (self-sufficient India campaign) was launched. The paper using the Annual Survey of Industries data examines in detail how the package was not sufficient to meet the needs and expectations of the MSMEs sector. The paper establishes that the MSMEs sector is the face of industrialization process in India. We argue that the package failed to address the actual problems in the sector and instead came up with the policies that may well deteriorate the sector further and harm the overall industrialization process. The major policy recommendation established by the research is strong and honest leadership relying on quadruple-loop learning model.
