The article analyzes the means of word-formative motivation in the generation of a text. Text oriented functions of word-formative motivation are caused by the method of its representation in the text either through a word-formative structure of derived words, or by a derivational pair „form – derived”, or by a whole motivating judgment. If derivative motivation in the text is expressed only by a word building structure of a derivative as a carrier of its consequences, then it serves as a source of lexical-semantic construction material with a property of double reference. Word-formative motivation, which is expressed in the text by a word-formative pair „form – derived” or a motivational judgment, serves as a means of implementing connectivity, primarily local. Various methods of textual usage of word-formative motivation serve as a means of creating an artistic image, the formation of a linguistic expression, artistic expression of a text.

Background: this article is devoted to the work of the Kyrgyz Soviet writer ChingizAytmatov. In the vast world of fiction, Aytmatov's works amaze us with their figurative system. Against the background of everything and everyone, admires us with the simplicity, beauty, the variety of images created by the writer, whether it is the image of a person, politician, journalist, village shepherd, tree, horse, whale, ocean, etc.The Sarozek steppes, the vastness of space, Issyk-Kul, the Kremlin, Red Square in Moscow, a yurt in a Kyrgyz village, a church choir, Shostakovich's music, Georgian singing, Baikonur, legends about mankurt and many other concepts and phenomena of humanity make up the figurative system of ChingizAytmatov. The created artistic images cover huge layers of the life of peoples, an individual person, accompanying a person with his constant anxieties, experiences, joy, gains, losses and much of what we call life. Results: Reading Aytmatov, getting imbued with his images, we are more and more convinced that literature in a number of other arts is closer and more understandable to a person, because the main means of artistic expression is the word, this is a natural need for communication between people. We love to speak out, hear someone's confession; we simply cannot do without speech. And then we ask ourselves the question, what is this - the art of the word, how the word turns into an artistic image and makes us compassionate, laugh and cry, think, agree and argue, and most importantly receive aesthetic pleasure, because literature is an art. Conclusions: All ingenious is simple. Characters, descriptive elements of the plot, used by the author to create certain images, are in a certain system, filled with aesthetic, philosophical, realistic meaning.

This contribution presents the way the construction material reinforced concrete was introduced at the beginning of the 20th century, from both the technical (Hennebique system) and the philosophical points of view. The philosophy underlying the use of this material is evident in the theories on finding a language of form corresponding to tectonics, and its dialogue with timber, formulated by certain notable practicing architects of the time across Europe. Not to be neglected are aspects relating to the conservation of material and to interventions carried out over time. In Modernist times, this meant a change from the artistic expression of Art Nouveau. Today, it means technical adaptation. The paper addresses thus sustainability of intervention versus conservation.

Abstract In this article I demonstrate that there is a pervasive lexico-semantic association bones are strength in the languages of Melanesia, but that its linguistic expression is highly varied; languages are scattered along a lexical-to-clausal cline in their expression of the association between bone and strength, with a large number of language-specific idioms based on the association to be observed in Melanesia. I argue that the striking areality of this lexico-semantic association is readily missed in top-down approaches to lexical semantic typology that rely, for instance, on databases of word lists, or on narrow search domains limited to the meanings of simplex lexemes.

Sustainable concrete is nowadays one of the biggest challenges in the construction industry. Performance-based specifications for concrete can materially help meet this new challenge while supporting the concept of “sustainable construction”. Concrete can be found in almost every building structure, be it a pavement, a bridge, a house, a tunnel or a dam. Scholars nowadays are researching the best balanced mix in concrete in order to diminish its environmental impact, especially the cement component which is known for its high carbon emissions. This paper describes concrete durability and outlines what project specifications will significantly influence concrete performance, including its environmental impacts. The paper argues that, despite the sustainability of concrete, concerted efforts on the part of scientists and engineers are still necessary to improve the design of concrete in order to ensure their expected sustainable quality and reliability.

Moisture in building structures affects negatively construction material physical properties, particularly thermally insulation properties. The porous structure of most building materials distinguishes by the ability to absorb water in liquid and gaseous state into its internal cavities, to fill the accumulative space of pores, to transport moisture and to re-transmit to the surroundings. The moisture characteristics of building materials are the base for evaluation of building structure thermal insulation properties. The moisture spreading via capillary conduction is the most significant material parameter of a moisture appraisal. However, it is necessary to incorporate also spreading the liquid phase into the moisture appraisal for certain structure material compositions. The article deals with determination of capillary conductivity coefficient by using electromagnetic microwave radiation. The radiation passed through a wet sample is detected and then the value of capillary conductivity coefficient is determined. The coefficient of capillary conductivity is property dependent on several physical parameters, but primarily on the moisture.

The article defines the functional role of key images, mythologemes and the means of artistic expression in the work of Russian and Tatar poets, which makes it possible to create an artistic image of. Kazan is also a legendary city with its own heroic past, it is also a cultural center, a university city, Kazan is also a city of meetings, and a city of spiritual communication. Renat Kharis metaphorically called "Kazan is a book" in the poem "Amirkhan Yeniki". This definition of the Tatar poet contains all aspects of the theme of Kazan image artistic embodiment because it fancifully combines images of poets of different times, melodies of composers, historical figures, legendary and mythological images (Shurale, nixie, etc.). The study results reflected in the article open up the prospects for the study of other universals in the poetry of the authors and other modern poets and can also be used for further study of local urban texts of Russian, Tatar and foreign literature.

This article is devoted to an attempt to consider the concept of B. Brechts epic theatre in terms of the cubist principle as a characteristic technique of the avant-garde and postmodernism, based on overcoming traditional mimetic forms when creating an artistic whole and suggesting such a way of organizing an artistic image in which affective involvement based on ready-made forms of perception and recognition, is replaced by the need for the so-called work of understanding. The main objectives of the article include the discovery and description of the mechanisms for the implementation of the cubist principle in the concept of Brechts epic theatre. The goal of the study is to prove the productivity of considering Brechts poetics in terms of the cubist principle. The research is carried out on the basis of an integrated approach that combines systemic-holistic and hermeneutic methods. The block of empirical materials includes Brechts works on the theory of epic theatre, as well as the works of Russian and foreign literary scholars and art theorists, devoted to both highly specialized aspects of Brechts theory of dramaturgy and issues related to the problem of authenticity of artistic expression and features of the structure of a work of art in the context of the collapse of traditional ideas about an artistic object as a result of imitation or expression of the artists inner world. The results obtained make it possible to present the concept of Brechts epic theatre as an experience of problematization of the creative act in a situation of crisis of artistic forms and reveal the expediency of considering Brechts poetics in terms of the cubist principle due to a much broader view of the technical and ideological-content aspects of his concept, in contrast to previously adopted concepts montage and separation of elements.

Three children were followed longitudinally for 12 months, between their 11th and 22nd months of life, to document their development of the linguistic expression of the agent concept. The children were observed approximately once a month in play and structured activities designed to elicit nonverbal and linguistic behaviors indicative of the children's awareness of the agent concept. This study describes how the linguistic behaviors (i.e., vocalizations, single-word utterances, and multiword utterances) were paired with emerging nonverbal agentive behaviors over the 12-month period. The children's first vocalizations did not appear to be consistently associated with any nonverbal agentive behaviors. Later vocalizations were consistently paired with directive nonverbal agentive behaviors. With the emergence of the mature cognitive notion of agent, the children produced single-word utterances coding the agent in agent-action-recipient events. And finally, for two of the children, multiword utterances coding two aspects of agent-action-recipient events were produced. The evolution of paired nonverbal agentive behaviors and different utterance types has provided evidence supporting the linguistic expression of an underlying cognitive notion.
