Coriolis mass flowmeters are highly customized products involving high-degree fluid-structure coupling dynamics and high-precision manufacture. The typical delay from from order to shipment is at least 4 months. This paper presents some important design considerations through simulation and experiments, so as to provide manufacturers with a more time-efficient product design and manufacture process. This paper aims at simulating the fluid-structure coupling dynamics of a dual U-tube Coriolis mass flowmeter through the COMSOL simulation package. The simulation results are experimentally validated using a dual U-tube CMF manufactured by Yokogawa Co., Ltd. in a TAF certified flow testing factory provided by FineTek Co., Ltd. Some important design considerations are drawn from simulation and experiment. The zero drift will occur when the dual U-tube structure is unbalanced and therefore the dynamic balance is very important in the manufacturing of dual U-tube CMF. The fluid viscosity can be determined from the driving current of the voice coil actuator or the pressure loss between the inlet and outlet of CMF. Finally, the authors develop a simulation application based on COMSOL’s development platform. Users can quickly evaluate their design through by using this application. The present application can significantly shorten product design and manufacturing time.

At present, the relevant test data and training indicators of athletes during rehabilitation training lack screening and analysis, so it is impossible to establish a long-term longitudinal tracking research system and evaluation system. In order to improve the practical effect of sports rehabilitation activities, this paper successively introduces the matrix normal mixed model and the fuzzy clustering algorithm based on the K-L information entropy regularization and the matrix normal mixed model. Moreover, this paper uses the expectation maximization algorithm to estimate the parameters of the model, discusses the framework, key technologies and core services of the development platform, and conducts certain research on the related technologies of the three-tier architecture. At the same time, according to the actual needs of sports rehabilitation training, this paper designs the functions required for exercise detection and prescription formulation. In addition, this paper analyzes and designs the database structure involved in each subsystem. Finally, this paper designs experiments to verify the performance of the model constructed in this paper. The research results show that the performance of the model constructed in this paper meets the expectations of model construction, so it can be applied to practice.

Educational robotics (ER) seems to have a positive effect on students and, in many cases, might help them to successfully assimilate knowledge and skills. Thus, this paper focuses on ER and carries out a literature review on educational robotics simulators with Graphical User Interfaces (GUIs). The review searches for relevant papers which were published in the period 2013–2020 and extracted the characteristics of the simulators used. The simulators that we describe in this article cover various robotic technologies, offering students an easy way to engage with virtual robots and robotics mechanisms, such as wheeled robots or drones. Using these simulators, students might cover their educational needs or prepare themselves for educational robotic competitions by working in as realistic as possible conditions without hardware restrictions. In many cases, simulators might reduce the required cost to obtain a robotic system and increase availability. Focusing on educational robotics simulators, this paper presents seventeen simulators emphasizing key features such as: user’s age, robot’s type and programming language, development platform, capabilities, and scope of the simulator.
