ADEGA: Análise de Dados Estatísticos da Grade Acadêmica

Este artigo descreve o sistema ADEGA (Análise de Dados Estatísticos da Grade Acadêmica). Os sistemas de gestão acadêmica, aplicativos utilizados por instituições de ensino para fazer o acompanhamento acadêmico de alunos, normalmente não fornecem maiores funcionalidades do que um repositório de notas e frequências de alunos. Desse modo, o ADEGA tem como objetivo auxiliar a gestão de coordenações de curso de instituições de ensino superior, utilizando o histórico de notas e frequências para fornecer dados e gráficos com informações relevantes e que não costumam ser abordadas em outros sistemas, como uma lista de alunos em risco de jubilamento, um quadro comparativo entre reprovações por disciplina, entre outras. AGEGA (Academic Grid Statistical Data Analysis)This paper describes the ADEGA system (Academic Grid Statistical Data Analysis). The academics management systems, applications used by educational institutions to monitor students academically, usually don’t provide greater functionality than a repository of student grades and attendance. Therefore, ADEGA aims to assist in the management of higher education institution’s course coordination, it uses the history of grades and attendance to provide data and graphics with relevant information that don’t usually are included in other systems, like a risk of academic retirement’s list, a comparative chart of failures by subjects, among others.

Faster Development

Changes taking place in the contemporary world have stimulated a faster development of knowledge and have led to the need for businesses to adjust to them, including in their expectations towards their employees. Employees and young people have entered a higher level on a larger scale, which has consequently resulted in an influx of a large number of people with higher education into the labour market. The aim of this study is to present the regional conditioning of professional careers and the perspectives for their development based on the case of young people with higher education in the Świętokrzyskie voivodeship. The term professional career has been presented, as well as its stages, the situation of young people, including those with higher education, and factors limiting its development in the region. A professional career is a crucial element in the lives of contemporary humans. It determines their status and, thanks to it, they can develop and fulfil their ambitions. However, the development of a career is hindered in smaller and less developed communities, where there is a shortage of workplaces for people with higher education. It forces young people to migrate to large cities of a metropolitan character, where there are better possibilities of development and higher earnings. This results in a deficit of valuable human capital and in the deepening of the hard demographic and economic situation in the problem region. The article is of a cognitive character, with its research methods being literature studies and statistical data analysis. In order to achieve full comparability, the following study is based on the data available until the end of 2017 because there is some shortage of data for the Świętokrzyskie voivodeship in the following years.

The article discusses the scientific and methodological principles of systems analytics to improve the management of higher education and determine the mutual influence between statistical data analysis and the systematic approach, based on the research of scientific and educational activities of higher education institutions. The object of research is the information processes in management. The purpose of this work is to determine the mutual influence between the system approach and its scientific and methodological principle of statistical data analysis in the study of information and analytical processes in education management. The scientific method of inquiry is a systematic analysis of information processes in management. Systems analysis has substantiated a problem-solving approach with a joint study of properties systems with element properties and vice versa. The system analysis of information processes in management based on the scientific and methodological principle of data mining offers a qualitatively new way in the implementation of the main functions and tasks of the system approach in determining the impact on the management of higher education (as a whole) and on the indicators of scientific and educational activities of universities (as a subsystem, elements). Cooperative Banks

Urgency of the research. One of the most essential sources of supporting regional and local development is the banking system. Target setting. The study presented describes cooperative banking, represented by Bank Polskiej Spółdzielczości S.A. and Bank Spółdzielczy w Kielcach. The use of the statistical data analysis method allowed to demonstrate the strong position of cooperative banking in the market, fostering regional and local development. Actual scientific researches and issues analysis. The foundations for the modern cooperative banking sector were laid by cooperative financial organisations functioning more than 150 years ago [Pawlik, 2017, s. 152]. Its history is connected with difficulties faced in the period of partitions, work at the foundations after the end of World War I and Poland’s regaining its national independence. Uninvestigated parts of general matters defining. At present, cooperative banking functions as a result of the adoption by the Sejm of the Republic of Poland on 7 December 2000 of the act on the functioning of cooperative banks, their associations and associating banks, which ensured new legal conditions for the functioning of the sector2. The research objective. The article formulates the hypothesis that nowadays activities of cooperative banks will contribute to regional and local development. The statement of basic materials. One of the most essential sources of supporting regional and local development is the banking system. This system can guarantee the stabilisation of the local financial system. By supporting the development of regional and local entrepreneurship through loans, investment activities of the banks and financial and investment consulting, it will determine the identity of the region concerned. Conclusions. The use of the statistical data analysis method allowed to demonstrate the strong position of cooperative banking in the market, fostering regional and local development.
