Crowdfunding is one of the tactics of raising finance by asking a large number of people each for a small amount of money to support innovative business ideas like new projects via the internet through various models. However, how individuals demonstrate readiness or solicitation on strategic networks in a virtual environment is much less clear and there is no comprehensive overview of literature review on different crowdfunding models. The present review puts an attempt to address these gaps and explored the impacts and the foremost crowdfunding concepts like funder, project creator and platform. This is an independent article based on a bibliographic search conducted using electronic databases such as EBSCO, DOAJ, RESEARCH LIFE, EMBASE, and Google Scholar. The result disclosed that the most universally applicable models of crowdfunding websites are; the equity-based model, donation/social based, lending model, and reward-based model. Interestingly, the review revealed that the lending and rewards models are leading in terms of funds raised across the globe and mostly adopted by investors. It also indicated the rapid growth of crowdfunding is helping small and medium businesses to create job opportunities for young people despite an increasingly challenging environment and its negative impacts on business. Finally, the review recommends researching crowd-funding and the impact of social media in the changing modern technologies and the legality of crowd-funding platforms in various nations.

Objective: With the opioid epidemic reaching declared a public health emergency in recent years, a synthesis of recent knowledge outlining the impact of opioid use disorders on youth and families is needed. To this aim, this exploratory literature review examined how the role of family is discussed in research on youth opioid misuse, with the goal of acting as a springboard for further research and treatment development that could mitigate the negative impacts opioids are having on families and youth. Method: Peer-reviewed journal articles between 2008 and 2018 were accessed through PsycINFO in March 2018. A total of 279 unduplicated articles were identified through the search. Upon abstract and full-text review, a total of 21 articles met criteria for inclusion in the systematic review. Findings: Overall, the role of the family in adolescent opioid misuse was not commonly discussed in the literature, with 21 of 279 (7.5%) of articles meeting inclusion criteria for the current study. In the included articles, the following major themes were identified: (1) family factors affecting adolescent opioid misuse behavior and (2) family’s role in treatment of adolescent opioid misuse. Conclusions: The review evidences there is a relative paucity of literature on relational variables and youth opioid misuse. More practice-based scholarship, as well as more rigorous clinical research, is needed to inform future steps for clinical processes, policy, and research.

Entrepreneurship has long been a topic of interest for many researchers. The economy being volatile has impeded job opportunities for many, particularly amongst youths. In Malaysia specifically, where unemployment has been increasing over the years, measures have been taken by the government to promote entrepreneurship to youth and undergraduates to make them more entrepreneurially inclined. Despite the numerous incentives and programs by the government to encourage youth to be entrepreneurial inclined, the unemployment rate is still high in many countries, particularly Malaysia. This research aims to offer a systematic literature review on the growing role of education support in promoting entrepreneurial intention amongst undergraduates in Malaysia. This research will highlight the increasing importance of education in fostering entrepreneurial intentions amongst undergraduates in Malaysia over the last five years. Through the compilation of past literature and research, this study aims to contribute to entrepreneurship research by discussing the impact of education support as well as highlighting ongoing discussions on education support in nurturing undergraduate entrepreneurial intention.
