Rationale: Previous studies on the relationship between diabetes and arterial stiffness were mostly cross-sectional. A few longitudinal studies focused on one single direction. Whether the association between arterial stiffness and diabetes is bidirectional remains unclear to date. Objective: To explore the temporal relationship between arterial stiffness and fasting blood glucose (FBG) status. Methods and Results: Included were 14 159 participants of the Kailuan study with assessment of brachial-ankle pulse wave velocity (baPWV) from 2010 to 2015, and free of diabetes, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, and chronic kidney disease at baseline. FBG and baPWV were repeatedly measured at baseline and follow-ups. Cox proportional hazard regression model was used to estimate hazard ratios and 95% confidence intervals (CIs) of incident diabetes across baseline baPWV groups: <1400 cm/s (ref), 1400≤ baPWV <1800 cm/s, and ≥1800 cm/s. Path analysis was used to analyze the possible temporal causal relationship between baPWV and FBG, among 8956 participants with repeated assessment of baPWV and FBG twice in 2010 to 2017. The mean baseline age of the observed population was 48.3±12.0 years. During mean 3.72 years of follow-up, 979 incident diabetes cases were identified. After adjusting for potential confounders, the hazard ratio (95% CI) for risk of diabetes was 1.59 (1.34–1.88) for the borderline arterial stiffness group and 2.11 (1.71–2.61) for the elevated arterial stiffness group, compared with the normal ideal arterial stiffness group. In the path analysis, baseline baPWV was associated with follow-up FBG (the standard regression coefficient was 0.09 [95% CI, 0.05–0.10]). In contrast, the standard regression coefficient of baseline FBG for follow-up baPWV (β=0.00 [95% CI, −0.02 to 0.02]) was not significant. Conclusions: Arterial stiffness, as measured by baPWV, was associated with risk of developing diabetes. Arterial stiffness appeared to precede the increase in FBG.

In this chapter, ideals of QI-algebra are considered. Given a subset of a right distributive QI-algebra, the smallest ideal containing it is constructed. Also, the notions of implicative ideal, fantastic ideal, and normal ideal in a right distributive QI-algebra are introduced, and the authors proved that these notions are equivalent.

The purpose of this paper is to interpret the multiplication of neutrosophic cubic set. Here we define the notation of ɤ-multiplication of neutrosophic cubic set and study it with the help of neutrosophic cubic M-subalgebra, neutrosophic cubic normal ideal and neutrosophic cubic closed normal ideal. We also study ɤ-multiplication under homomorphism and cartesian product through significant characteristics.

Nutritional status is an important thing that must be known by every individual in order to be able to anticipate and prevent the occurrence of undernutrition and over nutrition. This research was conducted with the aim to find out the nutritional status of adolescents in the Luwuk City area. This type of research is descriptive. The population in this study were students who were in 4 High Schools (SMP) in the Luwuk City Region in 2019, amounting to 2,161 based on the Accidental Sampling method. Analysis of the data used is descriptive. The results showed that the body weight respondent's lowest body weight was 26.20 kg and the highest body weight was 89 kg, with the respondent's average weight being 46.51 kg, the respondent's lowest body height was 136 cm and the highest body height was 170.3 cm , with the average height of the respondent is 152 cm, the Nutrition Status of Adolescent Children is very thin as much as 3 respondents (0.8%), thin nutrition as much as 18 respondents (4.8%), normal nutrition as many as 282 respondents (75.6%), obese nutrition as many as 35 respondents (9.3%), and nutritional status of obesity as many as 35 respondents (9.3%). The measurement results and calculation of BMI/U in adolescents shows the average adolescent is included in the category of normal (ideal) nutritional status, while the rest are experiencing nutritional problems. It is expected that parents pay more attention to their child's nutritional status by paying attention to their nutritional intake because adolescence is a growing period of children, and the Principal is expected to be able to work together with health agencies and universities to deliver material related to balanced nutrition.

We show some useful properties of these ideals that give various methods how to get ideals from them, and so our main aim is to study their properties. Here, we introduce these ideals i.e., the natural ideal, normal ideal, former ideal (and its doublet, latter ideal), proper ideal, normal extension ideal, normal uptake ideal. In particular, we introduce Boolean ideal and normal Boolean ideal to grasp the diversity of ideal for BCL+ algebras. As a means, we can define quotient BCL+ algebras only in terms of ideal, and we discuss its structure.

AbstractIt is well known that saturation of ideals is closely related to the “antichain-catching” phenomenon from Foreman–Magidor–Shelah [10]. We consider several antichain-catching properties that are weaker than saturation, and prove:(1)If${\cal I}$is a normal ideal on$\omega _2 $which satisfiesstationary antichain catching, then there is an inner model with a Woodin cardinal;(2)For any$n \in \omega $, it is consistent relative to large cardinals that there is a normal ideal${\cal I}$on$\omega _n $which satisfiesprojective antichain catching, yet${\cal I}$is not saturated (or even strong). This provides a negative answer to Open Question number 13 from Foreman’s chapter in the Handbook of Set Theory ([7]).

ABSTRACT To produce good adhesion between composite resin and etched enamel surface, it is necessary to form a microscopi- cally intimate contact between them. Contaminants, like saliva, may interfere with such bonding. Salivary contamination may reduce the bond strength between composite resin and the enamel by 40 to 60%. Recent studies have suggested that only rewashing and drying of the etched and saliva contaminated enamel surface is sufficient in restoring bond strength to the normal ideal condition. Purpose To evaluate the effect of saliva contamination on the shear bond strength of composite resin to enamel by using different parameters. Materials and methods The highest mean shear bond strength of composite resin was obtained on the uncontami- nated enamel surface, and the lowest mean shear bond strength was obtained on the saliva contaminated moist enamel surface. Results The mean shear bond strength of composite resin to saliva contaminated, washed and air-dried enamel surface was less than the mean shear bond strength to the dry enamel surface. Conclusion This suggests that only rewashing of the saliva contaminated enamel surface is not enough in achieving bond strength equal to that of the uncontaminated enamel surface. AbstractWe construct a model with an indecisive precipitous ideal and a model with a precipitous ideal with a non precipitous normal ideal below it. Such kind of examples were previously given by M. Foreman [2] and R. Laver [4] respectively. The present examples differ in two ways: first- they use only a measurable cardinal and second- the ideals are over a cardinal. Also a precipitous ideal without a normal ideal below it is constructed. It is shown in addition that if there is a precipitous ideal over a cardinal κ such that• after the forcing with its positive sets the cardinality of κ remains above ℵ1• there is no a normal precipitous ideal then there is 0†.
