Blockchain technology, as a database which combines encryption algorithm, smart contract, consensus mechanism, time stamp, and other technologies, has received wide attention from all walks of life and can be used to solve such problems as asymmetric, incomplete, and untimely information in both interenterprise transactions and enterprise internal control management as a good solution owing to its characteristics of decentralization, traceability, and tamper-proofness. Consequently, it is worthy of studying how to apply blockchain technology to daily business activities of enterprises. In this paper, some problems existing in the value chain activities of the enterprise internal procurement are analyzed by designing the solutions to requisition, warehousing, and payment based on blockchain technology, in which the Hyperledger Fabric platform is selected as an implementation tool to simulate some purchasing data for testing procedures. After the successful test, the research conclusions and research prospects of this paper are thus proposed, proving the feasibility of applying the blockchain technology to the internal value chain management of the enterprise, which provides reference for the construction of the internal value chain management of the enterprise by the blockchain.

Cross-border e-commerce is emerging explosively globally while China as the world’s largest trading country is gradually shifted its traditional trading market to the online marketplace to fit new retail norms of buying online across borders. The supply-demand dynamism and infrastructure readiness are two key drivers governing the exponential growth; however, multiples factors including cultural differences in consumer behaviour, unstructured laws and regulation, the inefficiency of transformed value chain management, limitation on currency payment, and distancing logistics remain unsolved challenges. Hence, this paper aims to deliver some key takeaways for the foreign company to take advantage of cross-border e-commerce as the channel to entering China’s consumer market. Using a combination of various keywords as the searching formula, a total of 17 relevant papers exacted from the Scopus database is in inclusion for the reviewing works. Only the journal paper published in the year 2021 and the content is highly relevant are included. From there, four predominant themes identify are the national-based regulatory environment, market-driven value creation, service-based ecosystem reformation, and digitally drive business transformation. Viewing the huge market potential, cross-border e-commerce is, therefore, a good start points for the foreign company to step into China market.

Abstract Environmental impacts due to exploration to the abandonment of oil and gas wells are a major focus when the wells are planned and drilled. However, there is no industry standard to quantify the impact due to complex indicators and associated variables. So, it is necessary to have an assessment framework and a methodology with the help of the digital transformation that provides an integrative index. This index allows a baseline to estimate the benchmarking for the well engineering not only during planning but also in real-time as the well is drilled and produced. This paper presents and validates a new model for the sustainability index for well design and engineering in the life cycle of the well. This proposed method avoids some of the vagueness of well’s sustainability and can be used and applied practically. It is based on various metrics and weightage assigned when a well is planned, designed, and engineered. Evaluating the index for well engineering is based on the following elements: environmental impact, well design and engineering, functionality and optimization impact, impact of well and maintenance costs, health and safety impact, societal impact. Each element contains sub-elements. This process involves individual indexing through backpropagation of neural networks combined with bat algorithm to obtain the final overall index.

The purpose of the study is to clarify and complement the theoretical aspects of the formation of the concept of value chain management, which provides, along with the concepts of demand chain management and supply chain management, the creation of an integral concept of chain management. Methods of research are methods of analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, as well as classification, and tools are binary matrices providing for the joint use of two classification features. As a result of the study, flow management sequences were developed in creating the value of the end user of products and/or services and the stages of transformation of flows of various types; proposed a classification of management situations related to the creation of value; identified the main options for obtaining and assessing the value of the end user of products and/or services; disclosed are processes for optimizing the value of the end user; harmonizing the parameters of value and flows of products and/or services; disseminating and transforming the values of end-users of products and/or services. These results, when further refined, will reveal the areas of interaction between suppliers and consumers in the framework of joint management of values, requirements and supplies; Create prerequisites for improving supply chain management and logistics terminology; Organize better flow management within different chain management concepts, eliminating or reducing cross-functional and other barriers to the creation and delivery of value to end-users of products and/or services.Further areas of improvement include the establishment of harmonized definitions of value chain management, value chain management and supply chain management to provide a basic definition of chain management; clarification of essence, content, causes of occurrence and methods of reduction of barriers on trajectory of movement of flows of control objects and reduction of time for their processing, movement and transformation.

This article aims to present a profile of functional controllers created in German-speaking countries in the context of their competences and tasks for sustainable management and value chain creation. Sustainable chain management requires finding a balance between the economic, social, and environmental spheres, inside and outside the organizations, in all business functions/processes related to value chain formation. Managers for sustainable management need to have adequate and high-quality financial and non-financial information. They are crucial during the pandemic COVID-19 period. Functional controllers can provide this. Content analysis of job advertisements was used as a research method. The identification of competences was based on Cheetham and Chivers’ model. Tasks were referred to as essential functions of controlling. Descriptive statistics and the Student’s t-test with Cochran–Cox correction and the Wilcoxon-Mann–Whitney test were used to analyze the data. In terms of the studied controllers, more functional than meta competence was identified. There were more hard skills than soft skills. In terms of tasks, studied controllers are preoccupied with analysis, coordination and optimization, participation in management, definition of new tools, and reporting. The results confirm that functional controllers have an impact on sustainable development and value chain creation.

Rebar, the core resource of reinforced concrete structures, generates more carbon dioxide per unit weight than any other construction resource. Therefore, reducing rebar cutting wastes greatly contributes to the reduction of greenhouse gas (GHG). Over the past decades, many studies have been conducted to minimize cutting wastes, and various optimization algorithms have been proposed. However, the reality is that about 3 to 5% of cutting wastes are still generated. In this paper, the trends in the research on cutting waste minimization (CWM) of rebar for sustainable work are reviewed in a systematic method with meta-analysis. So far, the literature related to cutting waste minimization or optimization of rebar published has been identified, screened, and selected for eligibility by Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses, and the final 52 records have been included in quantitative and qualitative syntheses. Review by meta-analysis was conducted on selected literatures, and the results were discussed. The findings identified after reviewing the literature are: (1) many studies have performed optimization for the market length, making it difficult to realize near-zero cutting wastes; (2) to achieve near-zero cutting wastes, rebars must be matched to a specific length by partially adjusting the lap splice position (LSP); (3) CWM is not a one-dimensional problem but an n-dimensional cutting stock problem when considering several rebar combination conditions; and (4) CWM should be dealt with in terms of sustainable value chain management in terms of GHG contributions.

Supply chain management has evolved into value chain management driven by consumer needs. Besides pursuing increased efficiency, it recognizes the importance of consumer needs and attempts to capture the intricacies of consumer value as a source of differentiation and competitiveness in the supply chain. The purpose of this study is to look at the effect of supply chain practices on PT. Mighty only son. This study uses a quantitative method with 30 respondents consisting of all non-driver staff. Based on the results of research on customer relationship variables, information quality, information technology can be concluded that these variables have an impact on business performance partially.
