This chapter considers some of the essential features of ethnography as a qualitative method. The main theoretical foundations of ethnographic approach are explained; however, the emphasis is mainly on how ethnography is done. Thus, the techniques for collecting data used by ethnographers take the central part of this chapter with some special attention to the methodology of observation. Through many examples, the authors describe the various forms of observation as a social research method. It is useful to illustrate the approach of the ethnographer through the metaphor of the “stranger” because “reflexivity” is an important part of the qualitative approach of ethnography. The practicalities of recording the field research and writing memos are fully considered in conjunction with practical suggestions and conceptual discussion, including the writing up of the final text which should be the conclusion of a consequential process, rather than a separate entity.

Spanish pianists, educators, and commentators have relished passing down to following generations the performance practices of their own tradition, with the renowned institution L’escola de música de Barcelona claiming to offer specialist training in “Spanish music”. In this context, Granados’s Goyescas have inevitably become the almost-exclusive domain of native musicians, herding artists’ creativities towards sets of performance instructions familiar to them. That we should continue to consider this repertoire as a specifically separate entity, fully knowable only by local artists or those trained within their tradition, is worthy of attention, as it places anyone outside this educational background and performing tradition as ‘other’ in need of acceptance. While the study of Granados’s output has recently been enriched by analytical investigations, recording projects, and new critical editions, it is the still unfamiliar early-recorded legacy by the composer/pianist that will be the catalyst for insights in this article. His Welte-Mignon roll recordings show a dynamic and flexible artistry, unsurprising in pianists of his generation, together with a lack of highly articulated ornamental inflexions and the rhythmical rigour we might expect in performances of such repertoire. The question that I wish to raise is whether at some point during the twentieth century there was a cultural shift that shaped ‘Spanish music’ to sound as distinctively national as possible. Such a shift would have occurred, in the minds of players, in parallel to wider changes in performance styles taking place throughout the continent. Exploring these aesthetic ideals through the lens of the country’s cultural history during the troubled years across the middle of the last century may hint at the subtle but meaningful ways that defined a canon flavoured with local folklore, both within and without the Spanish borders. The aim throughout is to challenge these orthodox approaches controlling the repertoire, resulting in my own renewed performance of El amor y la muerte; the hope will be that of empowering pianists to make different choices, diversifying performance options in the future.

ABSTRACT Rosai-Dorfman disease (RDD) is a rare histiocytic disorder commonly manifested as histiocytic proliferation of lymph nodes and extra nodal tissues initially described as a separate entity by Rosai and Dorfman under the term sinus histiocytosis with massive lymphadenopathy (SHML) in 1969. The treatment strategies can be variable and based on the severity of disease, v ital organ invol vement and pos s ible complications. The first case was a 47 years old female presenting with nasal obstruction and submandibular lymphadenopathy since few days. The second case was a 8 year old girl presented with stridor and lymphadenopathy in the submandibular region. In both the cases spontaneous resolution was expected and intervention was done only if there werecomplications. Patients were followed up every three months for two years and both the cases have resolved completely without any sequelae of the disease. Here we present two cases of Rosai-Dorfman disease presented to our hospital, this case series adds to the growing knowledge of Rosai-Dorfman di sease, along with under s tanding of pathophysiology, clinical diagnosis, treatment strategies and recovery options in cases where complications occurred.

Vaginal discharge is one of the major problems encountered in gynaecological practice. It is a very common con- dition that has been experienced by most women of all ages, especially in childbearing or reproductive age. Vaginal discharge is a condition that causes great discomfort to a woman and hampers her normal activity. It is believed that vaginal discharges produce loss of strength & confidence, also there is the presence of fear that it may be due to malignancy. Nowadays it is essential to study differential diagnosis of vaginal discharge. In Ayurvedic texts, various conditions giving rise to white discharge per vaginum had been described but the sub- ject was never dealt with as a separate entity. Therefore, in this study, an effort has been put forth to make a con- ceptual study covering almost all the aspects of Yonigata Strava as per Ayurveda as well as per modern. Keywords: Leucorrhoea, Vaginal Discharges, Yonigata Strava.

Perivascular epithelioid cell tumors (PEComas) are rare mesenchymal tumors with widespread distribution throughout the body and unpredictable clinical behavior. Recently, a subset of these tumors has been reported to harbor Transcription Factor E3 (TFE3) gene rearrangement with distinct morphologic and immunophenotypic features. Although limited, these tumors may represent a separate entity from the conventional PEComas and may require different treatment approaches. Surgery is the main treatment option with no clear consensus on systemic therapy. Here, we present the first case of a malignant pediatric colonic TFE3-associated PEComa with isolated liver metastasis leading to liver transplantation for the local control.

Ameloblastoma and adenomatoid odontogenic tumors are the most common odontogenic neoplasms. However, hybrid variant of the two lesions, Adenoid Ameloblastoma with dentinoid is extremely rare. The lesion comprises of characteristic histopathological features of Ameloblastoma and Adenomatoid odontogenic tumor and also shares certain clinical characteristics with either of the entities. Adenoid Ameloblastoma with dentinoid may be considered at the more aggressive end of spectrum of benign odontogenic neoplasms. Owing to the frequent tendency of lesion to be underdiagnosed, careful histopathological screening of submitted biopsies is warranted. With the increase in number of reported cases in the recent years, it is likely to be included as a separate entity in the upcoming WHO classification. The present systematic review aims at collectively presenting the demographic, clinical, radiographic and histopathological features, treatment performed along with its outcome for all the cases of Adenoid Ameloblastoma with dentinoid reported in scientific literature till date. Keywords: Hybrid Odontogenic Tumor; Adenomatoid Odontogenic Tumor; Adenoameloblastoma; dentinoameloblastoma; Immunohistochemistry

The beginning of the twentieth century was strongly marked by the First World War. Among the unexpected results of this conflagration we can observe an exponential growth of cultural relations between the states involved in the conflict on the same side. If we explicitly look at the Romanian-French cultural relations from this perspective, it becomes obvious that we are dealing with an exceptional example of cultural collaboration on the European continent. The first concrete step of this process was the signing in Bucharest of The PoincaréAngelescu Educational Convention on June 15, 1919, a document according to which the French state provided its support for the consolidation of Romanian education, especially in the new provinces that entered the Romanian state. Thus, in Bucharest, the French university mission was created as a separate entity as a result of this convention. Later, in 1924, it was reorganized into the French Institute of Higher Studies. Through these two concrete actions, the French state took the initiative and offered its promised support for its ”Latin sister in Eastern Europe”. In the same period, the actions of the Kingdom of Romania in this sense were much slower and more indecisive, requiring a private initiative of the historian N. Iorga.

What constitutes a “peer” for institutions that consider themselves to be Stewards of Place and who want to understand their impacts within the context of their community partnerships? This concept paper introduces the idea of Placemarking, which radically reorients the institution as a member of the communities it serves rather than identifying it as a separate entity beyond the boundaries of its community. It enhances traditional benchmarking methodologies and metrics (e.g., IPEDS) to also include the community context in which institutions reside (socioeconomic and demographic indicators) as well as how institutions work in partnership with their communities (e.g., its people, organizations, issues, and assets). Placemarking allows institutions to better align their identity and image, advocate on behalf of both institutional and community priorities, and foster collaborative planning.

The study was conducted to examine the awareness among the investors about equity and currency market. The study was useful to identify the investors’ mentality towards stock market. The researcher could gain knowledge about equity and currency market. As well, it’s also helpful in creating a good relationship with the investors. At the beginning of a business, owners put some effort to finding the finance assets into the business. This creates the shape of the capital on the business liability to a separate entity from its owners. Although, the foreign exchange market is isolated comparing to other than this. Nevertheless market manipulation of central banks by the foreign exchange market has to be mentioned to the nearest ideal perfect completion.
