The current study aimed to find out the translation techniques applied by the translator in creating the Indonesian subtitles for the original lyrics of Shelter – a collaboration project of music video by Porter Robinson and Madeon, A1-Pictures and Crunchyroll uploaded on YouTube in 2016. The data were analyzed based on the audiovisual translation theory, especially the linguistics of subtitling, the translation technical procedures in the compared stylistics, and the choice in song translation. The study also applied qualitative approach which enabled the researchers to emerge data in descriptive way (in the form of words or pictures instead of numbers). Furthermore, the data were also in the forms of an audiovisual content. The study indicated that most of the lyrics were translated based on literal translation that was reflected by the equivalence of the source language and the target language. The audiovisual theory, particularly reduction theory was also applied in creating the subtitles. In addition, the subtitles were created without taking the music into consideration, meaning that the subtitles were devoted as a supplement or no more than another piece of the source text.

A one-dimensional lattice in tunnel-diode (TD) oscillators supports self-sustained solitary pulses resulting from the balance between gain and attenuation. By applying the reduction theory to the device’s model equation, it is found that two relatively distant pulses moving in the lattice are mutually affected by a repulsive interaction. This property can be efficiently utilized in equalizing pulse positions to achieve jitter elimination. In particular, when two pulses rotate in a small, closed lattice, they separate evenly at the asymptotic limit. As a result, the lattice loop can provide an efficient platform to obtain low-phase-noise multiphase oscillatory signals. In this work, the interaction between two self-sustained pulses in a TD-oscillator lattice is examined, and the properties of interpulse interaction are validated by conducting several measurements using a test breadboarded lattice.

This study aims to determine how users respond to the use of social media during online learning after the COVID-19 pandemic from the perspective of uncertainty reduction theory. This study uses a phenomenological research method, where data collection is carried out by means of Focus Group Discussion (FGD), which was conducted twice on 15 users of online learning applications. Through this research, it is known that the user's response from the compulsion in using the online learning model is that the subject tends to feel mostly bored, difficult to discipline, tendency to be lazy, and has the proclivity to be dishonest. In addition, in terms of emotional connection, teachers and students do not have a good bond, which is far different when using the offline learning modality. The majority of users prefer to utilize the offline learning system when the pandemic ends. One person prefers to use a hybrid system which is a combination of online and offline learning method.

This study aims to examine the effect of perceived environmental dynamism on entrepreneurial team member’s innovation. Based on the uncertainty reduction theory, this study constructs a multilevel moderated mediation model of the relationship between perceived environmental dynamism and entrepreneurial team member’s innovation. By collecting questionnaires from 117 entrepreneurial team leaders and 479 team members in China, this research found that perceived environmental dynamism could stimulate entrepreneurial team members’ innovation via triggering their information exchange behavior. In addition, entrepreneurial team members’ intolerance for uncertainty and team cooperative climate can moderate the indirect positive relationship between perceived environmental dynamism and individual innovation. Our findings contribute to a better understanding of entrepreneurial team members’ responses to dynamic environment and their innovation behavior.
