Women entrepreneurs have significant impact on the economic development in global aswell as national context. Capacitating women with entrepreneurial qualities have remainedkey to social transformation especially in developing countries. The paper presents theresults of a study conducted in Kerala during 2020-21 to analyse the determinants ofwomen’s entrepreneurial performance related to agricultural enterprises. Seventy womenentrepreneurs involved in agricultural ventures randomly selected from the 14 districts ofKerala formed the study sample. Analysis of data collected based on a pretested structuredinterview schedule indicated mushroom and value addition enterprises as the most successfulenterprises among women. It was estimated that these enterprises took three and six monthsrespectively and production levels of 1872 kg and 1462 kg each in the order to reach break-even points. Mass media contact and stage of enterprise were the factors which weredelineated as the factors that contributed significantly to the period taken to achieve thebreak-even point by the women led enterprises.

Although the number of fires has not changed considerably in recent times, property damage and casualties due to fires are increasing every year. Maintaining the performance of fire-fighting facilities installed in buildings has been emphasized for maximizing human safety and minimizing property damage caused by fires. As a result, since 2017, the maintenance of fire extinguishers throughout their service life, has been mandated. In case of a fire, initial fire extinguishing and fire spreading prevention are crucial. There have been no available measures for the maintenance and verification of indoor fire hydrants and outdoor fire hydrant hoses used for extinguishing fires and preventing combustion expansion. This study was therefore intended to present measures for ascertaining the service life of these fire extinguishers, by evaluating their firefighting abilities through sample analysis and case analysis of the fire hoses. Research shows that the degradation of performance of the fire hoses becomes evident between 9 and 10 years, so that 10 years of service life is considered appropriate for the fire hoses.

A 30-year-old man developed secondary osteomyelitis after a traumatic amputation of his right index finger. The infection was treated with ciprofloxacin. Approximately 4 weeks after starting treatment, he complained of a progressive decrease in visual acuity, retro-ocular pain and bitemporal headache. A diagnosis of intracranial hypertension was established. Blood sample analysis, infectious profile, cerebrospinal fluid analysis, and neuroimaging were normal. Visual acuity and other symptoms progressively improved after stopping drug treatment. There were no complications or sequelae. Intracranial hypertension due to fluoroquinolones is described in the medical literature, its appearance during such treatments, despite being a rare adverse event, should be monitored.

This research was conducted to find out how the management process that covers sending sample letters and follow-up letter dispositions at PT Aneka Tambang Tbk's work unit, Geomin Unit to improve the effectiveness of inter-work unit coordination. This research is also motivated by the problem of an ineffective system that monitors the progress of sample analysis. Because in its development, coordination between the laboratory and the team is carried out not computerized. Coordination is not computerized by contacting the relevant parties via private chat, telephone or email. In designing this application using the Waterfall method. The programming languages are HTML and PHP. For Framework using Bootstrap, and for the database using MySQL. Supporting applications used are XAMPP, Sublime Text, and PhpMyAdmin. The final result of this research is a website-based monitoring and tracking application for mail management. It can be concluded that the design of this application provides many benefits in the process of managing letter data, especially in PT Aneka Tambang Tbk, Geomin Unit.

For the genus Diaphanosoma Fischer (Cladocera) the species’ name “D. brachyurum” has been widely used for many decades to identify other species belonging to this genus. To clarify the diversity of the genus in Greek lakes in the present study, we morphologically and genetically identified the Diaphanosoma species occurring in eight lakes. Three hundred twenty-nine Diaphanosoma individuals were morphologically examined, while for the genetic analyses the mtDNA COI gene was sequenced in 48 individuals. Combining the morphological and genetic results, we verified the occurrence of D. mongolianum, D. orghidani and D. macedonicum in our study area. We could not confirm prior records of D. brachyurum and D. lacustris while we provide the molecular identity of D. macedonicum. Furthermore, we highlight the need to check whether the European D. mongolianum populations are characterised of mitochondrial discordance and hybridization as the individuals from the Asian type locality of the species. Our results support the importance of combining both approaches to correctly identify taxonomic species, despite the extra effort and cost during the sample analysis.

Abstract We report the ground-based environmental assessments during development of the sampler system until the launch of the Hayabusa2 spacecraft. We conducted static monitoring of potential contaminants to assess the environmental cleanliness during (1) laboratory work throughout the development and manufacturing of the sampler devices, (2) installation of the sampler system on the spacecraft, and (3) transportation to the launch site at the JAXA’s Tanegashima Space Center. Major elements and ions detected in our inorganic analysis were sodium (Na), potassium (K), and ionized chloride (Cl–); those were positively correlated with the total organic content and with exposure duration in the range from 101 to 103 nanogram per monitor coupon within a ~30 mm-diameter scale. We confirmed that deposits on the coupon were totally less than the microgram-scale order during manufacturing, installation, and transportation in the pre-launch phase. The present assessment yields a nominal safety declaration for sample analysis of the pristine sample (>5 g) returned from asteroid (162173) Ryugu combined with a highly clean environmental background level. We expect that the Hayabusa2-returned sample from Ryugu without severe and/or unknown contamination will allow us to provide native profiles recorded in the carbonaceous asteroid history.
