This research was conducted to find out how the management process that covers sending sample letters and follow-up letter dispositions at PT Aneka Tambang Tbk's work unit, Geomin Unit to improve the effectiveness of inter-work unit coordination. This research is also motivated by the problem of an ineffective system that monitors the progress of sample analysis. Because in its development, coordination between the laboratory and the team is carried out not computerized. Coordination is not computerized by contacting the relevant parties via private chat, telephone or email. In designing this application using the Waterfall method. The programming languages are HTML and PHP. For Framework using Bootstrap, and for the database using MySQL. Supporting applications used are XAMPP, Sublime Text, and PhpMyAdmin. The final result of this research is a website-based monitoring and tracking application for mail management. It can be concluded that the design of this application provides many benefits in the process of managing letter data, especially in PT Aneka Tambang Tbk, Geomin Unit.

While the indirect update is carried out based on a value test of supporting documents / evidence submitted by the work unit / work unit as a follow-up to the auditor's recommendations.

In the final phase a detailed solution analysis was carried on what the company did to fix the series of delays along with some suggestions stating proper ways of dealing the situations. This research gives a wide overview on the problems that 787 Dreamliner faced during its manufacturing and delivery process. The analysis was done on the control perspective. Innovative solutions was laid down which if applied during the service procedures could have avoided the problems related to delay of 787 Dreamliner’s delivery. The main intention of this research is that the solutions and strategies provided can be implemented successfully to the other organization for better planning and handling of entire process ultimately minimizing the downtime and increasing the productivity of the organization.

AbstractThis article applies the Language Management Theory (LMT) in the context of overseas students participating in university study in an English-speaking context and who are developing their academic discourse while at the same time undertaking disciplinary studies. It draws upon data from a number of previous studies and examines central aspects of the theory, including kinds of management, stages of the management process, and simple and organized management, showing how the latter are sometimes interconnected in various ways. In the article, I consider issues relating to the start of the management process and analyze how power is exercised and by whom in these contact situations. Finally, consideration is given to methodological procedures which help us to identify the occurrence of management, in particular, follow-up (stimulated recall) interviews and interaction interviews.

The library as one of the media that provides a variety of reliable sources of knowledge in the form of books, journals and other scientific research. To increase interest in reading, especially in students and lecturers, the library needs to be supported by a system that can manage library data quickly and accurately. At this time, especially in the University of Kuningan Faculty of Computer Science Library the existing library application still has several obstacles, namely the system cannot display the existing book stock and the number of books borrowed making it difficult for librarians and students to check stock, for input and search books are still input by typing it so that it is inefficient, to search for books in other faculties' libraries, they must choose the first keywords that are searched so that they must check one by one in various faculties, there is no division of categories between books, journals or theses and the resulting reports are not optimal . The results of this study are in the form of an information system in which librarians can manage collection data in the form of books, journals, student / lecturer research results (practical work reports / thesis proposals / final assignments / theses / dissertations), other collections (such as magazines , newspapers, etc.), management of borrowing and returning books, management of library members, guest books and reports (available books, borrowed, etc.). The system developed can read book codes and member codes in the form of barcodes to facilitate data search when borrowing / returning transactions occur. Each book has one barcode, where the same title (including the author, publisher and published year) has the same code, the code is only the back for each book, so that the book can be borrowed / available / lost. even though the title is the same. This system is designed using DFD and developed using the RAD method. The design results are applied to the PHP and MySQL programming languages. This information system can be used by all librarians in all faculties in Kuningan University and Kuningan University librarians, where each admin / user can only manage data in each work unit..Keywords Library, DFD, Barcode, MySQL, Information System

The article examines a typical offer management process of a medium-sized tool manufacturing company using a qualitative, explorative research design. The objective is to explore characteristic improvement measures for optimizing the offer process on three levels: process efficiency, process effectiveness and customer orientation. The case study’s basis is a series of interviews conducted with any company employee who is in touch with the offer process. The interviews are analyzed using theoretical methods, such as benchmarking, the 7R method, the Deming cycle and the Ishikawa diagram. The purpose of the analysis is to provide results that are shaped into an action recommendation plan. The results show that creating an online product configurator (customer orientation), updating the calculation program (process efficiency) and creating a consistent offer follow-up system, will provide the highest potential for the process optimization.

We present the format for a workshop on introductory computer programming, which was held at the 2015 American Society for Horticultural Science (ASHS) Annual Conference in New Orleans, LA. The main workshop objective was to familiarize attendees with basic computer programming, including data structures, data management, and data analysis. The workshop used the general programming language R, though the concepts and principles presented are transferable across programming languages. Given the increased importance of statistical analysis in the agricultural sciences, the workshop was well attended. Participants appreciated the opportunity to improve their computational literacy and supported follow-up workshops like this at future ASHS events. We have released the presentation and the companion R script online.

The identification and removal of sources of frustration and inefficiency requires a partnership of leaders and health care professionals. This participative management process treats health care professionals as trusted and respected colleagues. It results in a more friendly work environment and a cohesive team that is able to more readily navigate the occupational challenges that arise. The process of identifying and removing pebbles starts with an unrushed conversation with the health care professionals of a given work unit. The local challenges that often surface in these discussions frequently involve disorganization and processes that diminish meaning or that impede caring for patients.

The article is a follow-up of the previous publications by Yu. N. Stolyarov “Documentology: The backgrould and development” and “The basic postulates of documentology as the general theory of documents”. The author substantiates the need for developing the library documentology as an individual discipline with its specific subject, specific document definition, and specific content. The subjects of library document studies are the primary and secondary document; technological document; accompanying document; and administrative document (record). The library workflows are based on procedural documents that form the class of administrative documents that ensure the optimal functioning of the library. Administrative documents in the library, as in other legal entities, are grouped into large subclasses: planning, accounting, reporting, personnel, financial documents, etc. Among them, the managerial documents are mostly important as they are to support the entire management process. Beside these subclasses, the accompanying documentation forms the subclass that makes an essential part of the collection, namely technological, and administrative documentation. To separate the fundamental library concepts of the document, the author proposes to adopt a specific definition for each document process. The library collection document is information specific for the library that is fixed or to be fixed. Fixed information refers to the diachronous, discrete documents, information to be fixed (continuously and to be continuously updated) refers to synchronous (existing at the time of retrieval), continuous (having only the beginning) document. The author defines library documentation as the systematized collection of internal documents. The tasks and purpose of these documents are determined by the specific of library technological tasks and functions. The author insists on developing the key provisions and, above all, the terms of library documentology.
