One of the largest rivers in Europe is the navigable Dniester. Today, it is extremely insufficiently used in the water transport system of Ukraine. In addition, it is the main river on the territory of Moldova and can be actively used for transport needs. The purpose of the study is an analytical characteristic of the navigation value of the Dniester. The main content of the analysis was reduced to graphic constructions: the location and planned location of courses, plotting optimal depths on the plan, drawing up morphometric profiles of river courses, etc. A navigation map of the Dniester estuary was built with a standard grid of depths, which were brought to the normal water level. The article also uses data on the natural conditions of the Dniester River based on research data obtained in the 1970s. The comparison of straight and curvilinear courses is carried out, the navigational importance of the Dniester estuary is studied. Recommendations for supporting favorable navigation conditions in the Dniester and in the estuary are determined. It is shown that within the lower course of the Dniester the greatest depths are found in straightened (7.4 m versus 5.8 m) parts. Minimum depths of 2–3 m are generally close to the banks, and maximum depths of 10–12 m are found in the middle parts of the course where they generally coincide with the midstream. Such depths facilitate movement of small and medium-sized river vessels. Recommendations for the updated navigation options for the state of the Dniester River and Dniester estuary are given. It is concluded that in case of resumption of navigation in the Dniester and Dniester estuary Ukraine will receive significant economic benefits.

Public health emergency of SARS-CoV-2 has facilitated diagnostic testing as a related medical countermeasure against COVID-19 outbreak. Numerous serologic antibody tests have become available through an expedited federal emergency use only process. This paper highlights the analytical characteristic of an ELISA based assay by AnshLabs and three random access immunoassay (RAIA) by DiaSorin, Roche, and Abbott that have been approved for emergency use authorization (EUA), at a tertiary academic center in a low disease-prevalence area. The AnshLabs gave higher estimates of sero-prevalence, over the three RAIA methods. For positive results, AnshLabs had 93.3% and 100% concordance with DiaSorin or Abbott and Roche respectively. For negative results, AnshLabs had 69.7% and 73.0% concordance with DiaSorin and Roche or Abbott respectively. All discrepant samples that were positive by AnshLabs and negative by RAIA tested positive by all-in-one step SARS-CoV-2 Total (COV2T) assay performed on the automated Siemens Advia Centaur XPT analyzer. None of these methods, however, are useful in early diagnosis of SARSCoV- 2.

Ten samples of kidney stone had been studied through elemental analysis of CHN (EA), Infrared Absorption Spectroscopy and X-Ray Powder Diffraction (XRD). The thermal behavior of the samples is studied by Thermogravimetry/Derivative Thermogravimetry (TG/DTG) and Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC). The results of AE, IV absorption Spectroscopy and XRD showed the presence of struvite (NH4Mg [PO4].6H2O), apatite, monohydrated calcium oxalate and dihydrated calcium oxalate. The TG and DSC curves allowed to classify the samples in two different groups: Group I show typical thermal behavior of struvite and Group II present a profile thermal analytical characteristic of a mixture of calcium oxalate.

In this paper, analytical expression for characteristic equation of double slope solar still (DS) included with series connected N identical evacuated tubular collectors (N-ETC-DS) has been developed. The derivation is based on fundamental energy balance equations for various components of the proposed system. The analytical result of the proposed N-ETC-DS has been compared with results reported by earlier researchers for the same basin area under similar climatic condition. It has been concluded that daily energy efficiency is higher by 23.90%, 26.45%, and 42.65% for N-ETC-DS than N identical partially covered photovoltaic thermal (PVT) compound parabolic concentrator collectors (CPC) integrated double slope solar still, N identical partially covered PVT flat plate collectors (FPC) integrated double slope solar still, and conventional double slope solar still (CDS), respectively, at 0.14 m water depth under optimized condition. Moreover, daily yield, exergy, energy and exergy efficiency have been computed.

Abstract Assessment procedures were based on the traditional educational paradigms of linearity and sequence, whose aim was to categorize and select individuals. With the advancement of Social and Human Sciences, assessments gained both a reflexive and an analytical characteristic and now they constitute a system of support and guidance for individual and group learning, all without losing sight of building character in the students. Supported by qualitative research, this study identified and discussed the assessments used by 14 university lecturers in the state of São Paulo who teach Gymnastics in the Physical Education undergraduate courses. The results showed different formats of assessment, namely: theoretical; debates; practical/experience; research; self-assessment and peer-review. None of the evaluated lecturers clearly stated the assessment criteria, becoming it, mainly, subjective. Four lecturers gave indication of using the assessment tools in the formative conception and only one lecturer guides its practice during the teaching-learning process after analyzing what has been detected in assessments.
