The Policy Development Module aims to make the Domestic Violence combatting policy planning process more structured and inclusive. The Checklist and Manual developed during IMPRODOVA research andinnovation project form together a tool designed for Policy drafters, decision-makers and other key professionals responsible for planning the Policy's Feedback Cycle on national and local levels. This PolicyDevelopment tool enables a critical examination of relevant information and helps to consider all viable policy perspectives and tools, leading to increased understanding between different professions. Itmakes the Policy planning more inclusive and aids in engaging all salient stakeholders, including the representatives of the practitioners who work at the front-line and implement the policy. Consequently, theparticipants will develop a common purpose and a shared view on tackling the multidimensional societal challenges posed by Domestic Violence. The Checklist consists of eight sections, each of which shouldbe noted when drafting a new policy document and planning the indicators for its follow-up. The Manual gives more details and practical examples of each section and therefore supports the use of theChecklist.

Abstract Purpose: This study aims to determine and analyze the development of growth centers and hinterland areas in Bangka Regency, Indonesia. Research Methodology: The analytical methods used are scalogram analysis, centrality index, gravity analysis, and GIS (Geographic Information System) methods. The type of data is quantitative data. The data source is secondarily obtained from BPS of Bangka Regency. Results: The results of the scalogram analysis and centrality index showed that Sungailiat District had the first order as the center of growth. The other seven districts, namely Belinyu, Merawang, Mendo Barat, Pemali, Riau Silip, Puding Besar, and Bakam are hinterland areas. Sungailiat District as the growth center has the strongest interaction value with the hinterland area, namely Pemali District, and the weakest interaction value with Bakam District. Limitations: This research uses the descriptive quantitative approach in its calculations using simple mathematical calculations. Further research is needed to find out how much influence it has on the region. Contributions: This study is to provide alternative inputs to the government of the Bangka Regency in formulating policy planning and decision-making regarding growth centers and hinterland areas.

Abstract West Sumatera Province is the province with the highest renewable energy mix target in Indonesia. To realize this target, the Province of West Sumatera has designed a policy and institutional or governance strategy. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to see the policies and forms of governance in the development of renewable energy in West Sumatera Province descriptively. The research was conducted in a descriptive qualitative way using 2 (two) data collection techniques: Interview and Documentation Review. Policy planning that targets 1) Formulation of the legal basis for development and utilization; 2) Development of utilization areas in the form of power plants (solar cell, garbage, wind, biomass, micro-hydro, mini-hydro, water, geothermal); and 3) Empowerment of local communities to support the success of energy sustainability in renewable energy installations. However, the wide-scale of energy development requires institutional forms that involve multi-stakeholders: government bodies and non-government bodies. However, unfortunately, in its implementation, the involvement of these stakeholders in an ideal collaboration forum never happened. Stakeholder involvement is limited to official formalities. We have again found the “magical word”: the tasks, principals, and functions that hinder the movement of the bureaucracy in Indonesia.

The ‘big Boro rice harvest’ in 2021 amidst the COVID-19 pandemic has created new optimism for a resilient rice system in Bangladesh. Boro rice (dry season rice) has appeared as the strategic crop in sustaining resilience in the national rice system and food security with a steady rise in production trend. However, the prospect of Boro rice has been challenged by a myriad of factors such as changing climate, hydrological regimes, value-chain and crop diversification. Any unexpected production loss of Boro rice might bring about a big setback in total food security. Therefore, holistic policy planning and research supports, strong value-chain, efficient procurement system and, farmer’s capacity development have been suggested to sustain the production trend of Boro rice in the year to come.
