The data presented in this article comprise an educational dataset collected from the student information system (SIS), the learning management system (LMS) called Moodle, and video interactions from the mobile application called “eDify.” The dataset, from the higher educational institution (HEI) in Sultanate of Oman, comprises five modules of data from Spring 2017 to Spring 2021. The dataset consists of 326 student records with 40 features in total, including the students’ academic information from SIS (which has 24 features), the students’ activities performed on Moodle within and outside the campus (comprising 10 features), and the students’ video interactions collected from eDify (consisting of six features). The dataset is useful for researchers who want to explore students’ academic performance in online learning environments, and will help them to model their educational datamining models. Moreover, it can serve as an input for predicting students’ academic performance within the module for educational datamining and learning analytics. Furthermore, researchers are highly recommended to refer to the original papers for more details.

With the help of Student Information System (SIS), student information can be stored and maintenance can be done. It is useful for educational institutions to maintain the records of students. The storage and management of information regarding a students’ academics is crucial in any institution. This system can be useful for all types of details, academic reports, institutional details, curriculum, and other resource as well. Student Information System software is very essential nowadays for all the educational institutions to store the information of students. For storing the student data, the institutions are spending a lot of money on paper, files, and other stationary stuffs including pens/pencil etc or some institutions are purchasing expensive systems to do this stuff. But here we are just creating software for the similar work it can save a lot of expenditure of an institution and also it will save use of papers which is ultimately beneficial for our environment also. This system is very useful to sort and search student records because sorting and searching in file system is time consuming also difficult to conduct manually. This software was developed in such a way that it remains to be user centric and easily understandable and usable by the user. The software is fully functional and tested over several testing techniques available and the software is functioning smoothly.

This research aims to develop a student data management system at 9 Tapung Junior High School (SMP) Negeri 9 Tapung, which has not documented using a computer or school web using text-based programming languages like HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and PHP. The student information system design at SMP Negeri 9 Tapung in its manufacture uses a literacy methodology where each phase can be carries repeatedly until it gets the desired results. The phase of system manufacture is the investigation, analysis, design, and implementation. To make this application, the author uses PHP and MySQL. This development research results create a student information system application that can display school data, student data, which graphics form, and its development, including data on the development of honesty and discipline. The system also displays the student interests and talents observed, extracurricular activities, student violations, and achievement. This application still needs development, refinement, the addition of features, and suggestions, and criticism from all related parties to create a better and structured information system to improve the quality and character of SMP Negeri 9 Tapung.

Revolusi Industri 4.0 (RI 4.0) memunculkan paradigma baru dalam pendidikan, yaitu Education 4.0 (Pendidikan 4.0). Hal ini dampak dari kebutuhan tenaga kerja terampil di era RI 4.0. Menurut WEF dalam Future of Jobs Reports (2016) terdapat dua keterampilan baru yang dibutuhkan di era RI 4.0 yaitu Emotional Intelligence dan Cognitive Flexibility. Dalam Pendidikan 4.0 pelajar berada di pusat ekosistem pendidikandalam rangka mengasah kedua keterampilan tersebut melalui model pengajaran transdisiplin, problem based learning, research based learning serta brain based technique melalui dukungan teknologi informasi. Namun, para pendidik memiliki masalah dalam keterampilan menerapkan aplikasi kolaborasi. Melalui program Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (P3M) STIE Trisakti, pada bulan September 2019 penulis mencoba untukmemberikan pelatihan Microsoft Office 365 dan Kahoot! kepada para guru dan staf administrasi SMA/SMK di propinsi Bangka-Belitung, Jambi, Lampung dan kota Bekasi-Jawa Barat. Microsoft Office 365 yang berbasis Student Information System dan Classroom Management Software serta Kahoot! sebagai Assessment Software dan bersifat bebas berbayar setidaknya diharapkan mampu diterapkan disetiap lembaga pendidikan di Indonesia khususnya di sekolah yang mendapatkanpelatihan tersebut. Melalui pelaksanaan pelatihan dari program P3M STIE Trisakti mendapatkan hasil pelatihan dimana 113 peserta merespon positif dan luar biasa antusias untuk mengikuti dan menerapkan dimasing-masing institusi pendidikannya, mengharap pelatihan yang kontinyu, periodik, dan berjenjang semakin mendalam dan luas materinya
