AbstractDistributed control systems (DCS) consist of process stations, operator stations, engineering stations and other elements, which all enable the exchange of data between industrial systems. Process stations are industrial controllers. They manage process control. Operator stations are used for visualisation and operator interactions. Engineering stations are designed for configuration, programming and executing control and visualisation software. Elements of the DCS system are connected by an industrial network. DCS must be properly designed, commissioned, used and operated. There is a human factor in each of these phases of the system’s existence. The article discusses software tools that increase human reliability in such a system, made in the visualisation package, i.e. the graphic environment used to visualize the process at the operator’s station.

Pada era perang modern, robot digunakan untuk melakukan penyerangan terhadap sasaran untuk memperkecil kerugian personel. Autonomous robot tank merupakan robot yang bergerak otomatis dengan menghindari rintangan yang berada didepannya. Sistem Navigasi Waypoint digunakan pada autonomous robot tank untuk menentukan pergerakan robot dari titik kordinat satu ke titik kordinat lain berdasarkan sistem kordinat bumi, menentukan arah, dan jarak dalam mencari sasaran tanpa harus full control. Operator hanya menentukan titik sasaran yang akan dilakukan penyerangan maka robot tank akan dengan sendirinya bergerak menuju sasaran. Modul GPS akan membaca koordinat dimana posisi dari mobile robot berada, dan modul magnetic compass digunakan untuk menentukan arah tujuan robot tank bergerak. Obstacle avoidance system menerima sinyal dari sensor ultrasonic ketika ada benda halangan didepannya untuk menghindari benda tersebut. Hasil pengujian didapatkan bahwa sistem navigasi waypoint pada robot dapat menuju tepat ke daerah sasaran musuh serta menghindari halangan di depannya dan selanjutnya kembali pada jalur navigasi menuju titik yang sudah ditentukan. Penelitian ini sangat berguna bagi TNI dalam melaksanakan penyerangan maupun pengintaian pada daerah operasi dengan memanfaatkan autonomous robot tank.

In this article, the reader will learn about the' Safety& Ergonomics' framework. Human negligence is still one of the most common causes of ecological disasters and catastrophes. The context is that the monitoring systems only reflect on the condition of processes in which a human connection to the overall functioning of the system is left unattended. As the fields of robotics and automation are more advanced, a human control operator becomes a passive machine observer, leading to exhaustion and lack of attention. It is necessary but hazardous to take up the fight against flames. A firefighter must be able to extinguish the fire quickly and safely to prevent further damage and minimize death. Engineering has finally connected the opening between firefighting and equipment to make the firefighting process more effective and useful. Robots are built to cross the fire area, so that they can operate one day with fire-fighters, minimizing dramatically the risk of damage to victims and protecting rescue workers, before they rage out of the way. This project involves the design of a fire-fixing robot. This paper deals with the software interface, the interface between the device and various parts of the technology.
