Sampling method plays an important role for data collection in a scientific research. Ranked set sampling (RSS), which was first introduced by McIntyre, is an advanced method to obtain data for getting information and inference about the population of interest. The main impact of RSS is to use the ranking information of the units in the sampling mechanism. Even though most of theoretical inferences are made based on exact measurement of the variable of interest, the ranking process is done with an expert judgment or concomitant variable (without exact measurement) in practice. Because of the ambiguity in discriminating the rank of one unit with another, ranking the units could not be perfect, and it may cause uncertainty. There are some studies focused on the modeling of this uncertainty with a probabilistic perspective in the literature. In this chapter, another perspective, a fuzzy-set-inspired approach, for the uncertainty in the ranking mechanism of RSS is introduced.

Abstract Tube hydro-forging (THFG) combining with the pre-bending is an advanced method to manufacture the complex cross-sectional tubular component with curved axis. However, the effect of pre-bending on the subsequent THFG, especially on the critical internal pressure required to inhibit wrinkling, has not been clarified yet. Therefore, this paper makes a detailed study on it. At first, based on the energy method, the change rule between the critical internal pressure and the hoop strain was established when pre-bending was considered. Subsequently, the mechanics condition difference between single and double curvature differential segment during THFG was analyzed. Via the plastic theory, the distribution of hoop strain could be obtained. Mainly due to the uneven distribution of thickness and cold work-hardening caused by pre-bending, the maximum hoop strain at the outer straight-wall was greater than that at the inner straight-wall during THFG. Substituting the maximum hoop strain at the outer/inner straight-wall into the change rule, then their mathematical model of the critical internal pressure to restrain the wrinkling could be solved respectively. Finally, the critical internal pressure considering pre-bending was determined by that of outer straight-wall, and its value was always greater than the critical internal pressure without considering pre-bending under the same punch stroke. With the increase of bending radius, the critical internal pressure difference between considering and not considering pre-bending also increases. When the bending radius was 250 mm, the critical internal pressure difference was 33%, while it increased to 74% as the bending radius reduced to 100 mm, all of which were verified by experiment. The effect of friction coefficient on the critical internal pressure was also studied. In conclusion, this work provided a new and more accurate prediction model of critical internal pressure to guide practical production for when existing the pre-bending.

Adolescence is a period of transition from childhood to adulthood, defined by major changes in physical, behavioural and social plan. The interest of teenagers for computer technology is in a perpetual growing and shopping online is one of their favourite activities. The garment industry is extremely competitive in terms of virtual simulation, consisting of 3D virtual bodies, virtual garments and virtual try-on systems. The paper presents the advanced method of designing 2D patterns, started from the 3D surfaces, obtained by real scanning of several teenager bodies. The development of a jacket model for girls, by using Optitex software with its high-performance modules 3D Flattening, 3D Simulations and PDS, based on the anthropometric standard for children, SR 13546: 2012, will be presented. These modules enable the designer to preview the shape of the product and its fitting to the body dimensions, which offer the possibility of developing to an infinite number of clothing collections just by changing the characteristics of the material, various seams, accessories or colours.

A botnet, especially with remote-controlled bots that offers a platform for many cyber threats. The powerful measure in opposition to that botnet is supplied by IDS (Intrusion get right of entry to gadget). The IDS frequently monitors and identifies the presence of powerful attacks by way of assessing community site visitor’s dangers. The IDS (PI-IDS) check for payload detects energetic tries to test the user's statistics gram protocol (UDP) and transmission manage protocol (TCP) comparisons with acknowledged attacks but the PI-IDS method is destroyed if the package is encrypted. PI-IDS shortages are conquer by using traffic-primarily based IDS (T-IDS), do now not take a look at package load; as a substitute, it exams the packet header to split get entry to, however this manner isn't always appropriate in modern-day global due to the fact network traffic is growing swiftly so looking at the header of every packet isn't always operating nicely and because of this advantage price is also essential. therefore, We endorse a new approach to this paper T-IDS creates an RDPLM (information-readable getting to know model) based totally on the set capabilities, in addition to a feature selection method, simplified sub spacing and multiple randomized meta-mastering techniques .The accuracy of our model is 99.984% and the education time is 21.38 s on a 9aaf3f374c58e8c9dcdd1ebf10256fa5 botnet database. it has been discovered that some mechanical studying fashions resemble a deep neural community, reducing mistakes in pruning the venture of locating a drug in a totally small series, and a random tree.

The method of determining coordinates of an airborne object using ADS-B receivers was improved. The method involves the following sequence of actions: input of initial data, measurement of coordinates of the airborne object by the radar, checking the availability of data about the airborne object obtained from the ADS-B receivers. In the absence of such data, coordinates of the airborne object are determined only from the data of the radar. The airborne object mark was identified according to information from the radar and the ADS-B receivers. Unlike the known methods, the advanced method of determining coordinates of an airborne object by a radar additionally uses information from the ADS-B receivers. The ADS-B receiver signals were experimentally studied. It was found that the ADS-B receiver has received more than 6,000 messages about airborne objects in a single day. It was established that information about the location of the airborne object contained in ADS-B messages was encoded in CPR format. An algorithm for decrypting the ADS-B messages with a global connection of an airborne object to geographical coordinates was presented. An algorithm for detecting signals of onboard transponders of ADS-B airborne objects was presented. Non-standard ADS-B messages from airborne objects were studied. It was suggested that some short non-standard ADS-B messages were received from small and military airborne objects. Accuracy of determining coordinates of airborne objects by the radar with additional use of the ADS-B receiver was estimated. Dependence of the root mean square error of determining the airborne object coordinates on a distance to the airborne object was presented for various cases. It was established that the accuracy of determining the airborne object coordinates can be raised from 36 % to 67 % depending on the distance to the airborne object
