Hypertension (high blood pressure) is the pre-symptom of cardiovascular disease. The number of people living with hypertension has doubled to 1.28 billion and proportionally increased until today. This is a long-term disease and requires continuous monitoring. A traditional Chinese herbal, “Lemongrass”, might be a good choice for the mainstay of hypertension. Some library search engines are used, such as SCI/SCIE, PubMed, and Scopus, within ten to twenty years, from 1999-2020. The searched keywords and phrases are “lemongrass”, “formulation”, “traditional Chinese medicine”, “hydrogel”, “hypertension”, “lemongrass + tea formulation”, “lemongrass + hydrogel”, “Lemongrass + Hypertension”, “Lemongrass + traditional Chinese medicine” etc. This minireview discusses the background of hypertension, lemongrass, research progress, mechanism, lemongrass tea formulations, lemongrass with Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulations, and the lemongrass hydrogel application in the treatment of hypertension.

Abstract: : This study was conducted to gather sufficient information on the significance of culture in education by reflecting on the diversity identity of students in the classroom. The method used in this study is through the library (Library Search) which includes qualitative research carried out by reading literature, such as journals, books or magazines and other sources. The results of this study indicate that students in the classroom have a diversity of races, ethnicities, cultures, religions, languages, and groups, so multcultural education is very important to be reflected on students in the classroom, with this understanding it is hoped that students can carry out the Indonesian motto, "Bhinneka. Tunggal Ika ”. The application of this multicultural understanding also requires a variety of strategies for students such as discussions, observations, case studies, simulations, role playing, and others. Based on the results of this library search, it can be concluded that there are three phases carried out to reflect on the diversity in the classroom, namely planning, implementation, and evaluation.

To allow for a broad survey of subtle metabolic shifts in wine caused by rootstock and irrigation, an integrated metabolomics-based workflow followed by quantitation was developed. This workflow was particularly useful when applied to a poorly studied red grape variety cv. Chambourcin. Allowing volatile metabolites that otherwise may have been missed with a targeted analysis to be included, this approach allowed deeper modeling of treatment differences which then could be used to identify important compounds. Wines produced on a per vine basis, over two years, were analyzed using SPME-GC-MS/MS. From the 382 and 221 features that differed significantly among rootstocks in 2017 and 2018, respectively, we tentatively identified 94 compounds by library search and retention index, with 22 confirmed and quantified using authentic standards. Own-rooted Chambourcin differed from other root systems for multiple volatile compounds with fewer differences among grafted vines. For example, the average concentration of β-Damascenone present in own-rooted vines (9.49 µg/L) was significantly lower in other rootstocks (8.59 µg/L), whereas mean Linalool was significantly higher in 1103P rootstock compared to own-rooted. β-Damascenone was higher in regulated deficit irrigation (RDI) than other treatments. The approach outlined not only was shown to be useful for scientific investigation, but also in creating a protocol for analysis that would ensure differences of interest to the industry are not missed.

The paper examines the significance of the selection, planning, and factors that affect the leading and singing of hymns in corporate Christian worship. While myriads of scholarly literature abound on hymnology, through bibliographies and an in-depth library search, the paper seeks to discuss the guidelines that engender the leading of congregation hymns and methods required for a dynamic leading of hymns. The research findings reveal that in some Nigerian churches where there are no trained music ministers, many untrained song leaders merely stand before the congregation to announce the hymns for the congregation to sing without performing a leadership role. Others merely stand to wave a hand. Leading congregational hymns requires training and vivaciousness in skill application. The three major areas of focus include planning, leading, and congregational response to hymn singing. The paper concludes that planning and selection of hymns are both spiritual and intellectual exercises that involve basic knowledge of the rudiments of music. The research will help the church musicians and academics in further research into church music and congregational hymn singing. Keywords: Song Leader, Hymn, Hymnody, Worship, Corporate Christian Worship

Objective – This article presents findings about undergraduate student attitudes regarding search data privacy in academic libraries. Although the library literature includes many articles about librarian perceptions on this matter, this paper adds rich, qualitative evidence to the limited research available about student preferences for how libraries should handle information about what they search for, borrow, and download. This paper covers acceptable and unacceptable uses of student search data based on American undergraduate student perspectives. This is an important area of study due to the increasingly data-driven nature of evaluation, accountability, and improvement in higher education, which relies on individual-level student data for learning analytics. These practices are sometimes at odds with libraries’ longstanding commitment to user privacy, which has historically limited the amount of data collected about student use of materials. However, libraries’ use of student search data is increasing. Methods – This qualitative study was approached through interpretive description, a rigorous qualitative framework for answering practical research questions in an applied setting or discipline. I employed the constant comparative method of data collection and analysis to conduct semi-structured interviews with 27 undergraduate students at a large, American, urban public research institution. Interviews included questions as well as vignettes: short scenarios designed to elicit response. Through inductive coding, I organized the data into interpretive themes and subthemes to describe student attitudes. Results – Participants viewed academic library search data as less personally revealing than internet search data. As a result, students were generally comfortable with libraries collecting search data so long as it is used for their benefit. They were comfortable with data being used to improve library collections and services, but were more ambivalent about use of search data for personalized search results and for learning analytics-based assessment. Students had mixed feelings about using search data in investigations related to criminal activity or national security. Most students expressed a desire for de-identification and user control of data. Students who were not comfortable with their search data being collected or used often held their convictions more strongly than those who found the practice acceptable, and their concerns were often related to how data might be used in ways that harm members of vulnerable groups. Conclusion – The results of this study suggested that librarians should further explore student perspectives about search data collection in academic libraries to consider how and if they might adjust their data collection practices to be respectful of student preferences for privacy, while still meeting evaluation and improvement objectives. This study also introduces the qualitative framework of interpretive description to the library and information science literature, promoting use of this applied qualitative approach, which is well-suited to the practical questions often asked in library research studies.
