technology adoption through agricultural extension may be a consequence of providing generic information without sufficient adaptation to local conditions. Data-rich paradigms may be disruptive to extension services and can potentially change farmer-advisor interactions. This study fills a gap in pre-existing, generic advisory programs by suggesting an approach to “diagnose” farm-specific agricultural issues quantitatively first in order to facilitate advisors in developing farm-centric advisories. A user-friendly Farm Agricultural Diagnostics (FAD) tool is developed in Microsoft Excel VBA that uses farmer surveys and soil testing to quantify current agricultural performance, classify farms into different performance categories relative to a localized performance target, and visualize farm performance within a user-friendly interface. The advisory diagnostics approach is tested in Kanpur, representative of an intensively managed rural landscape in the Ganga river basin in India. The developed open-source tool is made available online to generate data-based agricultural advisories. During the field testing in Kanpur, the tool identifies 24% farms as nutrient-limited, 34% farms as water-limited, 27% farms with nutrient and water co-limitations, and the remaining farms as satisfactory compared to the localized performance target. It is recommended to design advisories in terms of water and nutrient recommendations which can fulfill the farm needs identified by the tool. The tool will add data-based value to pre-existing demand based advisory services in agricultural extension programs. The primary users of the tools are academic, governmental and non-governmental agencies working in the agricultural sector, whose rigorous scientific research, soil testing capacity, and direct stakeholder engagement, respectively, can be harnessed to generate more data-based and customized advisories, potentially improving farmer uptake of agricultural advisories.

The rise in average sea level due to climate change aggravates the vulnerability of coastal areas, increasing the likelihood of flooding due to erosion of outfall to the coast and rivers. Therefore, the design standards of defense facilities should be strengthened to address such increased risk of flooding. Accordingly, in this study, a plan to adjust the disaster prevention performance target rainfall for two research areas was selected in consideration of the regional characteristics of the coastal area and the average sea level rise predicted for 2050, and the disaster prevention performance target rainfall increased from at least 89% to up to 169%. Based on these results, it is believed that this study can serve as a basis for improving data on rainfall targets for disaster prevention performance with consideration of future sea level rise in coastal cities.

A company must set a high standard of discipline so that the company can develop quickly. A good company cannot be separated from the performance of employees in the form of standard rules made. With the standard, the company can see employees who excel and can be used as examples for other employees. There are 3 generated criteria such as performance, target and absence. The main purpose of this study is to provide criteria for selecting outstanding employees in a company. This study uses mamdani which uses the lowest min value and uses the AND operator to get the results. There are four things in the Mamdani fuzzy process, the first is the fuzification of the determination of the input value, the second is the application of the implication function, the third is the inference rules and the last is defuzzification. The results of this study can be used as a standard in determining outstanding employees at PT Berkah

In the electricity generation business in Indonesia, power plants requiring to be reliable when operating and ready when needed due to network load requirements. It has been written in the performance target contract for each unit, therefore the protection system installed at the power plant must be well. The problem that occurs at the PLTGU PT PJB Gresik Generation Unit is a malfunction in the HV Line protection system that causes the generator unit to trip, thus causing questions regarding the cause of the problem that occurs. Therefore, the authors compile a thesis proposal with the title "Identification of HV Line Protection Interference at PLTGU PT PJB Gresik Generation Unit Using RCFA and FDT Methods" which can find out the source of the problem that occurs so that it does not occur repeatedly. The benefit that can take is knowing the problem cause of the HV Line protection system malfunction so that it can be done correctly and on target for future unit reliability.

We study a class of contracts that is becoming ever more common among executives, in which the manager earns a discrete bonus if performance clears an explicit threshold. These performance targets provide the firm with an additional instrument to resolve its moral hazard problem with its manager. The performance target can achieve first-best under risk neutrality, with a target precisely equal to the desired effort that the firm seeks to induce. The optimal bonus increases in risk. If the manager is sufficiently risk averse, the firm will shade the optimal target below equilibrium effort to provide a form of insurance to the manager, outside of the standard reduction in the bonus.

One of the elements in the implementation of Higher Education is a lecturer. Lecturers are academic staff who are tasked with carrying out the Tri Dharma of Higher Education which includes education, research, community service. Lecturers who excel are entitled to be selected and get promotions and awards according to their academic performance. Therefore, we need a calculation method that can be used as a media for performance appraisal of outstanding lecturers who can facilitate assessment. This assessment includes performance appraisal which includes commitment, integrity, service orientation, discipline, cooperation, and leadership. In addition to the criteria, the assessment also includes the Employee Performance Target (SKP) assessment. This Employee Performance Target is in the form of a total assessment of lecturer performance. Two criteria, namely performance and SKP will be used as guidelines in the calculation of the selection of outstanding lecturers. Samples were taken as many as 20 lecturers at the Sriwijaya State Buddhist College in Tangerang. The simple additive weighting method is effectively used in the selection of outstanding lecturers with an assessment limit of more than 0.88. Of the many candidates, there were three lecturers with sufficient performance and SKP, with grades 0.922, 0.88, 0.94. So that the highest achieving lecturer with the highest value is 0.94.
