This study aims to describe the implementation of education character policy at SMP Negeri 5 Mataram, the proponent and the resistor factors, and the effect of education character policy implementation on students. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach. The subject of this study involved: the principal, the student head deputy, the homeroom teacher, the religion teacher, and the counseling teacher. The observation, interview, and documentation are used as data collection methods. Furthermore, the result of this study showed that (1) the implementation of education character policy at SMP Negeri 5 Mataram was implemented by school residents with teaching and learning activities.(2) the proponent factors were an internal factor (student awareness) and an external factor (the cooperation among teachers, employees, conducive neighborhood, and programmed activities). (3) the resistor factors were an internal factor (the student character diversity, the teacher limitedness on education character implementation), the external factor was (the lack of parent supervision on problematic children). (4) The effect of education on character implementation creates self-confidence and discipline. Keywords:Implementation, education character policy

Background; The dietary fiber intake is an important part of childern’s diet and has a role in development of non-commuicable disease. The percentage of fiber intake based on the consumption of fruit and vegetables has been reported lack of children in Surakarta. Purposes; The aim of this research were to analyse the correlation between fiber intake and energy adequacy and to assess the contribution of food source containing fiber to energy intake of primary school children age 8-12 years old in Surakarta. Method; This type of this research was observational with a cross sectional approaches. One hundred and thirteen elementary school children age 8-12 years old in Surakarta were participated in this study which were recruited using multistage random sampling. The intakes data were analysed used Nutrisurvey fo Windows 2007 based on 7-days food diary filled by each child under her/his parent supervision. Dietary Allowance Intake for Indonesia called AKG 2013 was used as a refernce intake. Correlation test used Chi-Square. Result; Median fiber intake and energy adequacy of all children were 3.11 gram/day and 42% respectively.  There was no correlation between fiber and energy adequacy intake (p=0.05). Food source contributed fiber intake were white rice, processed flur products, and other vegetable food such as carrots, guava, and fermented soybean or tempeh. Conclusion; The low fiber intake in school age 8-12 years old in Surakarta was not correlated with their low energy adequacy.

GTA (Grand Theft Auto) is a video game containing sexual and violent content classified as a mature category (18+). However in Indonesia, this video game is often played by teenegers under 18 years old. This research purposes to describe teeneger’s experience on playing GTA game and the factors influencing them to play the game. The informants of this research are 6 teenegers who have been playing this game with under 18 years old obtained by using snowball sample technique. The method used in this research is qualitative with phenomenological approach. The data were collected through semi-structured interview. The result of this research shows that teenegers who play this game said that they could gain new experiences like being outside of country situation. For teenegers it was exciting because they could perform things that they could not do in the real life like kill, rob, and fight beetwen gang. The factors influencing them to play GTA game come from their playmates, parent’s supervision, and also education level. Playmates are the main cause for teenegers to play GTA game. Teenagers playing GTA game without parent's supervision will tend to get negative impact. While higher level of teeneger education decreases the intensity of playing GTA game. Therefore, in order to minimize negative impact obtained by teenegers in playing GTA game, it requires the parent supervision so that the teenegers know time limit to play and the certain behavior in the game that may or may not be imitated in the real life.

Children of 4-6 years are in concrete pre-operational stage. Negative Stimulus obtained by a child at that time, forming attitudes of children in the future. TV shows, games, and videos containing violence are form of negative stimulus. KPAI data showed 78.3% of children aged elementary school to senior high school have undertaken such violence. One of the factors is possibly the existence of negative stimulus acquired since early childhood. Based on the presentation, this proceeding discusses alternative methods to overcome violence since children aged 4-6 years from the perspective of psychology. The approach used in this proceeding is a qualitative approach. Data was taken from the fact of a numbers violence that have been undertaken by children, TV shows, games, and videos containing elements of violence, stages of child development, and the impact of the show. The data was retrieved through library research of several references that were analyzed and the results were presented descriptively. Based on the data obtained, the conclusion of the proceeding is: the causing factor that lead children to become abusers come from TV’s program containing violence and imitated since early childhood. How to cope with children who commit in violent is by giving TV shows of electronic media (TV, games, videos) containing a lot of educational value and strengthened them with their close relative supervision, especially parents since the children in early age. Keywords: violence aged 4-6 years, electronic media, supervision. Anak usia 4—6 tahun berada pada tahap pra operasional konkrit. Stimulus negatif yang diperoleh anak pada masa itu, membentuk sikap anak di masa yang akan datang. Adanya tontonan Tv, games, dan video yang mengandung tindak kekerasan merupakan bentuk stimulus negatif. Data KPAI menunjukkan 78,3% anak usia MI hingga SMA melakukan kekerasan. Salah satu faktor yang menyebabkan, dimungkinkan adanya stimulus negatif yang diperoleh anak sejak dini. Berdasarkan paparan tersebut, prosiding ini membahas alternatif mengatasi kekerasan sejak anak usia 4–6 tahun dari perspektif psikologi. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam prosiding ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Data berupa fakta banyaknya kekerasan yang dilakukan anak,  tontonan di TV, games, dan video yang mengandung unsur kekerasan, tahapan perkembangan anak, dan dampak dari tontonan. Data tersebut diambil melalui studi pustaka dari beberapa referensi yang  dianalisis  dan hasilnya disampaikan secara deskriptif. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh, simpulan dari prosiding ini: faktor penyebab anak menjadi pelaku kekerasan berasal dari tontontan yang mengandung tindak kekerasan dan ditiru anak sejak dini. Cara mengatasi anak yang melakukan kekerasan adalah dengan pemberian tontonan pada media elektronik (tv, games, video) yang banyak mengandung nilai edukasi dan diperkuat adanya pengawasan orang dewasa terdekatnya, khususnya orang tua sejak anak dalam usia dini. Kata kunci: kekerasan usia 4-6 tahun, media elektronik, pengawasan.
