Abstract Geometry is one of the basic math concepts that are crucial for early childhood development because it relates to objects in the environment around children. Cooking class activity is one way to improve the ability to recognize geometry in children, through food processing activities. This study aims to determine the effect of cooking class activities on improving the ability to recognize geometric shapes in early childhood. This research uses a quantitative approach with the Pre-Experimental method, one group pretest-posttest type. The study population was students aged 5-6 years (group B) consist of 15 children from Paud Al-Manshurin, Bandung. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews including documentation. From the research results, it was obtained that the pre-test average  score was 2.1 and the post-test score was 3.3. The t-test shows t value > t table (17.429> 1.761) with a significance level of 5%. These results indicate that cooking class activity significantly influences the child's ability to recognize geometric shape. Keywords: geometry, cooking class, early childhood, pre experimental

Abstract This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The aim of this study was to obtain information about early childhood learning based on local wisdom entrepreneurship. This research was conducted at TK Bona Kota Serang and RA Daarul Muqimien Tangerang Regency. The results obtained in this study show that TK Bona have implemented entrepreneurship learning through "market days" activities. Another activity carried out at TK Bona in order to develop life skills is the overnight activity at a pesantren or "mondok". At RA Daarul Muqimien, the learning model in the context of instilling entrepreneurial values were carried out through market day activities, cooking days, and field trips. It is hoped that the results of this study can become a reference for further research in developing early childhood learning models based on local wisdom entrepreneurship. Abstract Sex education needs to be introduced from an early age as an effort to provide understanding for children about the role of their sexuality and as an effort to prevent sexual violence against children. Early childhood education must be implemented in accordance with the needs and stages of child development, then the process of early childhood education must be packaged in an attractive and fun form for children. This study aims to determine how the application of the introduction of sex education to children using interesting and fun media, namely the media of images and the singing method. The subjects in this study were 30 students aged 5-6 years and 9 teachers at TK Muslimat VI NU Pademawu Pamekasan. The data collection methods in this research are observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysis used was the Miles and Huberman model. The results showed that the introduction of sex education in children by personal health and sex education through the media of pictures and the singing method. Abstract This study aims to reveal the challenges of teachers in using online learning media and to find solutions that can be taken by teachers. In the current pandemic, teachers are required to be able to master technology, so that teachers can take advantage of various online media in learning. Currently, many PAUD teachers are confused about utilizing technology-based online media. Finally, in a simple way, the teacher gives written assignments through the WhatsApp group for parents to work on by children. This new activity requires teachers to have competence in operating technology to design and use appropriate learning media for children. Teachers are required to quickly adapt to technology so that teachers are able to use various applications to support online learning at. The research method used is a literature study where the data collection technique is through processing and analyzing various sources or references to scientific journals and books whose relevance with the problem to be studied. Data analysis relates problems to theories contained in scientific journals or appropriate books. The results of this study found that in the use of online learning media, there were several challenges for teachers such as the weak competence of teachers in mastering technology, the lack of facilities and infrastructure in utilizing various online learning media and the limited internet network in covering other online learning media. The solution that teachers can take is to conduct various trainings, webinars or workshops. Teachers can also take advantage of various training platforms provided by the Ministry of Education and Culture, free or paid. Keywords: Teacher Challenges, Online Leraning Media, Early Childhood

Peran orangtua dalam pembelajaran anak di masa pandemi Covid-19 sangat penting, orangtua secara tidak langsung sebagai fasilitator dan sebagai guru pendamping selama anak-anak belajar di rumah. Kehadiran orangtua sangat mutlak diperlukan dalam mendidik dan mendampingi tumbuh kembang anak-anak, terutama di masa belajar dari rumah, maupun dalam hal kesehatan anak-anak. Hal lainnya pengawasan anak dalam penerapan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat terutama di masa pandemi. Hal ini lebih dikarenakan situasi pandemi Covid-19 yang sampai saat ini belum berakhir. Penelitian ini mengacu pada jenis penelitian kuantitatif eksperimen semu yang menerapkan  One Group Pre test-Post test Design. Dari hasil nilai awal penelitian dan akhir penelitian kepada 20 orangtua/wali kelompok B1 yang menjadi sampel penelitian, semua anak mengalami peningkatan dalam penerapan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat (PHBS) selama belajar bersama orangtua. Penelitian  peran orangtua dalam menggunakan Love Cards memberikan pengaruh baik pada peningkatan penerapan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat (PHBS) pada anak usia dini. Kata kunci: peran orang tua, love cards, perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat

Abstract As of March, the Covid-19 pandemic is still hitting Indonesia, this pandemic has a negative impact on Indonesian education, especially in the early childhood education level. The learning process, which initially turned into distance learning, is proof of the real impact of Covid-19. To achieve optimal learning objectives, different learning strategies are needed. Therefore, the aim of this study is to examine the implementation of early childhood learning strategies in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. The subjects in this study were teachers and pupils. The data technique used interviews and observations. Meanwhile, to test the validity of the data by triangulation of techniques and sources. The application of learning strategies carried out by teachers during the Covid-19 pandemic with bold and offline learning. Bold learning using social media in the form of YouTube and WhatsApp, while offline learning involves group home visits. Abstract This research was motivated by the teacher's doubts in designing BDR learning in Inderapura, Pesisir Selatan Regency. This study aims to determine the "Professionalism of Kindergarten Teachers in Designing BDR Learning (Learning From Home) during Covid-19). This type of research is descriptive quantitative ex post facto approach, the study population amounted to 81 people, a sample of 45 people using purposive sampling technique. The research instrument used a Likert scale model questionnaire. Analysis of research data obtained through the results of a questionnaire with descriptive analysis using percentages. The results showed that the professionalism of kindergarten teachers in designing BDR learning during Covid-19 was seen from the BDR learning design subvariable as many as 54% of respondents chose always answers (SL), the design of the learning implementation mechanism 44% always answered (SL), and the BDR learning assessment design 49% the answer is always (SL). Based on these data, it is concluded that the professionalism of kindergarten teachers in designing BDR learning is seen from the learning design, the learning mechanism design, and the BDR learning assessment design in Inderapura, Pesisir Selatan Regency looks good. Abstract The role of parents is very important for the formation of children's character starting at an early age, family communication will be a way to interact more closely between family members. The existence of communication that can be realized through action, and giving positive words to children. The influence of toxic parents can affect children's growth and development and even affect children's character, bad personalities during childhood can cause personality problems, and poor socialization. Therefore, in communicating with children, parents must pay attention to the character of the child in order to communicate effectively. Communication must be built as early as possible, and based on the understanding of parents. Methods of data collection are carried out in various ways, namely through observation, interviews, documentation. Abstract Learning conducted online during the covid-19 pandemic is also performed at the Early Childhood Education (PAUD) level. Providing online learning for early childhood is not easy because at this age a child should learn many things about physical-motor, moral, emotional, cognitive, language, how to solve problems, and so on that effect throughtout his life, so it is said that this period is the golden age. Giving assignments in online learning is one of the ways that teachers do to monitor the developments of their students. Therefore, this research is about the assignments of early childhood with a focus on Arabic lessons. This research is qualitative methods using observation, interviews, and documentation as research techniques. This research was cinducted at TK-Alfarobi Surabaya with kindergarten B teachers as the main interviews and guardians of students as respondents.. The results of this research show that there are four Arabic assignments performed by the teacher during online learning, there are: 1) a model for increasing competency in Arabic reading and writing; 2) short letter memorization model; 3) the model of memorizing asmaul husna with movements; 4) a model of singing Arabic vocabulary with gestures. Abstract Rumah Bermain (RBP) in Bandung City reconstructed the Montessori Curriculum to Islamic. This uniqueness is worth researching. The objective research was to compare Education in Islam and the Montessori Method and to overview the reconstruction of the Islamic Montessori Curriculum in RBP. The research was using a qualitative approach with case study methods and literature studies. The results show that Islam and the Montessori Method can be implemented in harmony. In the reconstruction of the curriculum in RBP, Islam became the main foundation and the Montessori Method as supporting foundation. The foundations become a reference in the formulation of educational objectives. Based on the objectives, curriculum development was conducted. Starting from curriculum objective conducted by the team. Furthermore, the teacher implements the curriculum as instructional plan, learning, and assessment. The final stage is an evaluation using SWOT analysis, the results of which are used to improve the curriculum. In all stages of curriculum development, students' uniqueness and nature are respected.
