This study aims to describe the implementation of education character policy at SMP Negeri 5 Mataram, the proponent and the resistor factors, and the effect of education character policy implementation on students. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach. The subject of this study involved: the principal, the student head deputy, the homeroom teacher, the religion teacher, and the counseling teacher. The observation, interview, and documentation are used as data collection methods. Furthermore, the result of this study showed that (1) the implementation of education character policy at SMP Negeri 5 Mataram was implemented by school residents with teaching and learning activities.(2) the proponent factors were an internal factor (student awareness) and an external factor (the cooperation among teachers, employees, conducive neighborhood, and programmed activities). (3) the resistor factors were an internal factor (the student character diversity, the teacher limitedness on education character implementation), the external factor was (the lack of parent supervision on problematic children). (4) The effect of education on character implementation creates self-confidence and discipline. Keywords:Implementation, education character policy

Learning activities performed by teachers should be able to create a fun and efficient teaching and learning atmosphere. On the other hand, learning activities are also required to be directed to the moral development of a child in order to have a good personality. This training aims to determine the moral development of the child through the study of the sexual Aqidah in MI Ma'arif Candran. The subject of this study was the students and teachers of MI Ma'arif Candran. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach, using a descriptive method. The results of this study showed that in the moral development of the child through the study of sexual Aqidah implemented by the teacher at MI Ma'arif Candran is to develop a learning plan that adjusts to the situation, the characteristics of students and the potential of students by using methods and strategies consisting of: Habituation methods, methods of ethics, methods of advice, control mechanisms, and sanctions.

BackgroundCreating a conducive environment for learning cultivates engaged and independent learners, allowing for high-level learning (Warren, 2004). When assessing the diverse Psychology courses that exist, the evaluation of Research Methods (RM) teaching and its associated pedagogies is high on the agenda of college based Higher Education (Burton & Schonfield, 2011). ObjectiveThis study aimed at exploring what range of teaching and learning activities (TLA’s) promote effective learning of RM among Psychology students. Additionally, it aimed to understand, from a student perspective, what ‘effective learning’ meant in the context of RM. MethodA mixed methods approach comprising of both surveys as well as focus groups was conducted with undergraduate Psychology students. Thematic analysis and basic frequencies were used to analyse data. Results Results demonstrated that both student and teacher-led activities were beneficial and worked complementarily for students in their understanding of the subject whilst serving different purposes. Practical labs and class exercises were the top activities highlighted (student-led) followed by lectures and flow chart concept checks (teacher-led). Furthermore, ‘effective learning’ encapsulated not just a long-term knowledge acquisition of concepts but the ability to apply one’s knowledge to the wider context. Conclusion and teaching implication Findings are in line with the Conception of Learning which has a nested hierarchy consisting of both surface learning elements and deep learning (Marton,Dall’Alba & Beaty, 1993). RM has been identified as a difficult subject to teach as well for students to learn (Gray et al., 2015) and as a result this study teases apart some of the most beneficial techniques from a student perspective to be considered when designing the structure and delivery of RM courses.

Pre-marital marriage cource aims to equip brides-to-be with understanding and knowledge and skills about married life, hoping that in the future they can create a harmonious family while reducing conflict, domestic violence and divorce. This study discusses the existence of pre-marital marriage course in the Ujung Tanah District, Makassar City. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection methods through interviews. The results of this study indicate that participants of premarital marriage course in the Ujung Tanah District, Makassar city are participants who have registered at the Office of Religious Affairs, but have not yet entered into a marriage contract. The fact that after following pre-marital marriage course, the couples feel each other's self confidence increases and their are better prepared to live a domestic life, so that the existence of pre-marital marriage course can create a happy family. However, in the implementation there were also obstacles faced by the facilitators and the guidance participants.

This research is done because the number of students of UNBAJA’s PPKn courses semester II and IV academic year 2017 - 2018 have low nationalism.. This was seen from the results of tests that showed that there were still many students of the UNBAJA’s PPKn courses in the second and fourth semester of the 2017-2018 academic year who did not memorize the Pancasila and Indonesian Raya, and did not understand the meaning of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika. The purpose of this study was to determine the causes of the low sense of nationalism of students in the UNBAJA’s PPKn courses in the second and fourth semester of 2017 - 2018 academic year and to find out the role of lecturers of PPKn courses in increasing the nationalism feeling of students in the UNBAJA’s PPKn courses in the second and fourth semester of 2017 - 2018. This study uses a descriptive method of qualitative approach with data collection techniques using test techniques, observation and interviews. Subjects of this study are lecturers of UNBAJA’s PPKn courses and students of UNBAJA’s PPKn courses in second and fourth semester of academic year 2017 - 2018. The results of this study indicate that the role of the PPKn lecturer can increase the sense of nationalism of students in the PPKn UNBAJA courses in the second and fourth semester of the 2017 - 2018 academic year, such as before the teaching and learning activities are conducted in class, the lecturer always instructed everyone to pray.

This article focuses on the analysis to find out the difficulties of students MTs in English Learning. The sample of this study is used for some students from 36 students in VII grade of MTs Nurul Falah Cimahi. This method uses Qualitative approach in the analysis. The result is that students difficulties, in learning English 85% not appropriate. Some expert suggest external factor and internal factor that be affect students learning difficulties to learning difficulties. The author only focus on one factor that is external factor. External factors are : School factors, Family factors, and Environmental factors. The result of the analysis, the external factors that most affect the difficulties tudent learn English in MTs. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengelolaan pendidikan sekolah dasar yang berorientasi kepada pendidikan multikultural di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Sangiang Jaya. Fokus subjek dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari  4 orang yaitu 3 guru kelas tinggi dan kepala sekolah. Peneliti yang di gunakan adalah penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif melalui metode deskriptif  yang bertujuan untuk menjelaskan sebuah data, peristiwa atau kejadian yang digali berdasarkan hasil  wawancara menggunakan Google Form dengan narasumber di mana mereka mempunyai pemahaman dan pengetahuan serta yang berpengalaman mengenai kejadian tersebut. Metode deskriptif merupakan metode merupakan penelitian yang mendeskripsikan atau menjelaskan suatu data berdasarkan fakta secara objek sesuai penelitian yang tersusun dan terjadi dengan keadian yang ada. Teknik pengumpulan data berdasarkan hasil wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, Hasil temuan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan Pengelolahan pendidikan sekolah dasar yang terdiri dari perencanaan (planning) yang terlihat dari proses pembuatan prangkat pengajaran yangterintegrasi dengan multikultur. Pengorganisasian (organizing) di mana manjement yang berdasarkan orientasi multikultur Nampak dari beberapa kegiatan yang di lakukan sekolah, pelaksanaan (actuating) di lihat berdasarkan proses pelaksanaan kegiatan belajar mengajar dan pengawasan (controling) yang berisi pemantauan berkala yang di lakukan, ke empet aspek tersebut di lihat berdasarkan nilai multikultural yaitu kesetaraan, keadilan, demokras kebebasan toleransi.ANALYSIS OF MULTICULTURAL PRIMARY SCHOOL EDUCATION MANAGEMENTAbstract: The purpose of this research is to analyze the management of school education that is oriented towards multicultural education at Sangiang Jaya State Elementary School. In this study, the subjects consisted of 4 people, namely 3 high class teachers and the principal. Researchers who use this research are a qualitative approach through descriptive methods that aim to tell a data, event or phenomenon that is excavated based on in-depth interviews with sources where they have an understanding and knowledge and in-depth experience of the phenomenon. Descriptive method is a research method that describes or explains data based on facts in a systematic research object and in accordance with natural situations. The data technique used is based on the results of interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of this study indicate the management of primary school education which consists of planning (planning) as seen from the process of making building construction integrated with multiculture. Organizing in which management is based on a multicultural orientation. It appears that from several activities carried out by schools, implementation is seen based on the process of implementing teaching and learning activities and monitoring (controling) which contains periodically carried out, to empathize these aspects are seen based on multicultural values namely equality, justice, democracy / freedom and tolerance.

Prediction of students 'understanding of the subject is important to know the extent to which the students' understanding of the subjects presented by educators when teaching and learning activities and to determine the ability of educators in delivering subjects. Artificial Neural Network to predict the level of students' understanding of subjects using backpropagation learning algorithm uses several variables: Knowledge, skills / abilities, assessment and workload and guidance and counseling. Backpropagation learning algorithm is applied to train eight indicators to predict the level of students' understanding of the subjects. The test results obtained by the student's understanding level prediction accuracy rate of 90% with a 6-5-1 architecture.

The Covid-19 pandemic has impacted various fields, especially education, namely the implementation of distance learning. One of the activities carried out by teachers is the implementation of independent practicum by students so that teaching and learning activities continue to run even though the students are at home. This study aims to analyze the motion of jumping cats using a tracker application that can be used as a practicum activity independently in science subjects of motion material in grade VII by using cats that are in the environment of learners as the subject of the study. This research method uses a hands-on experimental approach by taking videos of jumping cats' motion and processing them with a tracker app. The results of data processing with the help of tracker application are processed by using Microsoft Excel program so that obtained KD, KB, TB, K and E relationship graphs cat jump has a constant or stable speed indicated by linearity graphs. In addition, data processing using a tracker application is more accurate and consistent compared to the acceleration value by manually calculating so that it can be concluded the use of application-assisted jumping cat video analysis is worth using in science learning.

This research was conducted to find out the most precise management strategy to enhance competitiveness of Celebrity Fitness Central Park Mall. This study applies a qualitative method, by conducting interviews and also observation by directly reviewing the subject of the study. The analytical method consists Input Stage consisting of Internal Factor Evaluation and External Factor Evaluation, Matching Stage consisting of Strength-Weakness-Opportunity-Threat Matrix and Internal External Matrix, and Decision Stage consisting of Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix. After analyzing from the existing data, it is known that the Market Penetration strategy is the most appropriate to be implemented for Celebrity Fitness Central Park Mall and Market Development strategy can be used as a support.

This study aims to discuss how teaching and learning activities were carried out by using Genre based Approach in teaching writing descriptive text at junior high school. This study was conducted in the classroom of VII-1. Therefore, the appropriate design was qualitative research design. The subject of the study was the English teacher. To collect data, the researcher used observation and interview. The finding of the study described that the teaching and learning activities that were carried out by the teacher fulfilled the basic competencies. The teacher carried out the opening teaching activities by greeting, asking the students’ preparation during the lesson, checking the student’s attendance list, and informing the learning objective. The teacher carried out the main teaching activities by informing about how to write a descriptive text, giving, and asking opinions, eliciting the students’ understanding, prompting and directing to do exercises. The teacher carried out the closing teaching activities by directing the student to continue at home and eliciting the students’ reflection of what they could learn at that time.
