This study aims to determine the effect of Aeronautical Communication Officer Competence, Workload, and Work Discipline on the Work Effectiveness of Apron Movement Service Personnel at Soekarno - Hatta International Airport Cengkareng. Data collection techniques were carried out by distributing questionnaires using a Likert measurement scale. This research was conducted on 68 respondents using a quantitative descriptive approach and hypothesis testing. The collected data was then analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis techniques through SmartPLS (Partial Least Square) software. The results of this study indicate that the Competence of Aeronautical Communication Officer, Workload and Work Discipline of Apron Movement Service Personnel have a positive and significant impact on the Work Effectiveness of Apron Movement Service Personnel at Soekarno - Hatta International Airport.

The article reveals the experience of creating a Digital Repository by the Zonal Scientific Library of the Southern Federal University. It is organized and technically supported as the central repository of the SFedU intellectual property objects. Having studied the experience of other universities, it was decided to develop its own software platform built in Python. As a result, a high level of service was provided for the use of the repository not only by librarians and users, but also by other structural divisions of the university. The repository contains the intellectual products of the university, provides access to the results of scientific research of the university, has the ability to exchange metadata through the API interface, has a customized search interface, ensures the safety of content, and minimizes the labor costs of users and service personnel.

IntroductionA rising trend has occurred in the physical and mental health challenges faced by recovering UK service personnel. To support these individuals, bespoke inclusive multiactivity and adventurous training courses (MAC) have been developed. This study investigated the MAC’s influence on participants’ ability to sustain day-to-day changes that facilitate positive mental health and psychological need satisfaction.MethodsThe 146 UK service personnel who participated in this study attended a five-day MAC 12 months ago. To investigate how the supportive experience influenced participants’ lives, quantitative and qualitative data were collected via an online survey. Open-ended questioning and abductive analysis were conducted to understand mechanisms, influential aspects of the course and positive behaviour change.ResultsPositive behaviour changes were reported by 74% of the respondents. These changes align with positive psychological well-being (98%). Impactful elements of the course experienced by participants mostly aligned with the three basic psychological needs of autonomy (34%), competence (36%) and relatedness (61%).ConclusionsRecovery support programmes that encompass health coaching adventurous activities, such as the MAC, can initiate long-term positive behaviour change for recovering military personnel. In this specific context, the concurrence of the self-determination theory concepts that underpin the course delivery and participant outcomes is a powerful endorsement of implementation fidelity.

<p>The deleterious impact of combat on psychological wellbeing has been documented as early as 490 B.C. by Greek historians (Bentley, 2005), and researchers continue to delve into this phenomenon today. Published literature in this field largely emanates from the United States and United Kingdom, whilst research from New Zealand is largely absent. The current study seeks to fill this gap with an investigation of the impact of overseas deployment on the psychological wellbeing of New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF) military personnel. This study utilised data from 1410 NZDF military personnel who operationally deployed between 1 July 2015 and 31 October 2016 and completed two questionnaires: (1) immediately following deployment, and (2) six months after returning home. Regression, moderation, mediation, and path model analyses were used to analyse the data. Several key findings were obtained. Firstly, combat stressors, as expected, predicted posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) symptoms but surprisingly not psychological distress. PTSD, as expected, predicted distress. Secondly, moderation analysis revealed that experiencing medium to high levels of non-combat stressors in addition to combat stressors was likely to result in exacerbated levels of PTSD symptoms. Thirdly, demographic characteristics such as being in the Navy, being female, and not being in a relationship were all identified risk factors for poorer psychological outcomes (PTSD symptoms and psychological distress), whereas neither ethnicity nor prior deployment experience functioned as risk factors. Lastly, mediation analysis revealed that PTSD partially explained the relationship between combat events and posttraumatic growth, suggesting that PTSD symptomology may prompt military personnel to appraise outcomes from their deployment, and subsequently experience personal growth. Implications of the current research lay in the potential for improvements to be made to the education, training, and support offered by the NZDF to their service personnel.</p>
