Understanding the Concept of Data Warehousing and Challenges in Its Implementation

The aim of this paper is to understand the concept of Data ware housing and how it is implemented. It is related to the data analysis of the data in an organisation. It facilitates and makes the analysis process easy for the workers of the organisation. The paper will also explain two approaches that are followed in data ware housing. The process of implementation of data ware house will also discussed further in this paper. There are certain challenges to create data ware house.

A DEIXIS ANALYSIS OF SONG LYRICS IN HELLO BY ADELE

The main purpose of this research is to analyze three types of deixis in Adele’s song lyrics. Then, the song lyrics can be analyzed using pragmatic approach, especially about deixis. Then, the song lyrics can be analyzed using pragmatic approach, specifically about deixis. This research applied descriptive qualitative methodThis research applied descriptive qualitative method. The researcher elects lyrics of the most popular songs of Adele’s Album 25. The data ware taken from one of three song lyrics in Adele’s album 25 entitled Hello for identifying and classifying the deixis into their types (person deixis, spatial deixis, and temporal deixis). Based on the results and discussion can be concluded that all deixis found in song lyrics, there are 53 words include of kinds of deixis. the person deixis was found on adele’s song as the most dominant type (43 deictic words or 75%). Second position, deixis spatial is the most found (9 deictic words or 17%), and in the last position is temporal deixis (4 deictic words or 8%)

CODE SWITCHING ANALYSIS IN ENGLISH LITERATURE WHATSAPP GROUP

The aim of this research was to find out the type and reason of code switching on WhatsApp group of Putera Batam University. In collecting the data, the research applied observational method non-participatory technique. The data was analyzed by using the theory of Poplack (1980). The researchers applied the text in WhatsApp as the data. It was found 15 texts contain code switching. The data ware classified into three: tag switching, inter-sentential switching and intra-sentential switching. From the 15 text, intra-sentential switching were the most frequent type of code switching because WhatsApp group members often change language from Indonesian to English in only a few sentences that appear at the beginning, in the middle, and at the end of sentence. Code switching have ten reason using theory of Grosjean (1981). First, to fill the linguistic needs for lexical items, specify phrases, discourse markers, or sentence fillers. Second, to continue the last language used (trigger). Third, quote someone. Fourth, to determine the recipient. Fifth, to qualify the message: strengthen or emphasize. Sixth, to determine the involvement of the speaker (personal message). Seventh, to mark and emphasize group identity. Eighth, conveys confidentiality, anger, and harassment. Ninth, to exclude someone from conversation. Tenth, change the role of the speaker: Increase status, add authority, and show expertise. For reasons in the WhatsApp group only 3 of 10 kinds of reasons were found: to fill the linguistic needs for lexical items, to continue the last language used (triggered) and to determine speaker involvement.

Designing a Learning Media of English for Specific Purpose based on Interactive Multimedia (Macromedia flash 0.8) for Agro-Industry Students

The research objective is to design a learning media of ESP using Macromedia Flash 0.8, which can contribute comprehension in learning ESP and presenting the validation of the media. The Procedure development referred to development research that uses model 4D by Borg and Gall. The development consists of 4 steps. They are defined, design, develop, and disseminate. The data ware collected through validation by media experts, material experts, and practitioners using questionnaires and interviews. Then, the data are presented by using tables. The result of validation by media expert on the media developed obtained a total score of 87.5 % belonging to valid with no revision, the result of validation by material expert obtained a total score of 90 %belonging to valid with revision and validation by practitioners obtained a total score of 8.589 % belonging to valid with no revision. The result showed that the use of interactive multimedia by using a Macromedia flash 0.8 is recommended to be implemented because the students can relatively access to media which is operated with android. The result of this research will be used as a matrix for the next research, which is the development of ESP Module based on interactive multimedia.

PERFORMA AYAM RAS PETELUR COKLAT DENGAN FREKUENSI PEMBERIAN RANSUM YANG BERBEDA

This aims of the study is to determine the effect of different feeding frequency on layer performance (feed intake, hen day production, egg weight, and feed conversion ration) Data experiment were held on 10th April-10th July 2017 at Abas Farm, Ponggok subdistric, Blitar regency. Four hundred laying hens of ISA Brown strain age 30 weeks were used in this study and kept in individual cages. A randomized completely design was applied with 4 treatments and 5 replications. The treatment consists of P0: 2 times feeding, P1: 3 times feeding, P2: 4 times feeding, and P3: 4 times feeding. Data ware analyzed using analysis of variance at 5% level and Duncan test at 5 % level. The conclusion based on the result were: the treatments not significant (P>0.05) on feed intake, egg weight, and feed conversion ration, but significant (p<0.05) on hen day production. It ’s suggested to use 2 or 3 time feeding frequency.Keyword: feeding frequency, performance, layer.

Integritas Auditor Sebagai Pemoderasi : Pengaruh Kompetensi, Independensi, Kompleksitas Tugas Dan Audit Time Budget, Terhadap Kualitas Audit: (Studi Empiris Pada Kantor Akuntan Publik Dan Badan Pemeriksa Keuangan Republik Indonesia Perwakilan Sumatera Selatan Di Kota Palembang)

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to find out the influence of competence, independence, audit time budget,,task complexity on the audit quality and to find out the auditor integrity as a moderating influence of competence on the audit quality, the auditor integrity as a moderating influence of independence on the audit quality, the auditor integrity as the moderating influence of the task complexity on the audit quality. This study used associative research. The data were primary data and secondary data. The popolation of this research was auditors who work in KAP and BPK RI in Palembang, there were 124 respondents. The techniques used for collecting the data were interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The techniques used for analyzing the data ware quantitative and qualitative analysis. The results showed that the competence gave a significantl effect on audit quality, independenceand audit time budget gave a significant effect on audit quality, the task complexity has no effect on audit quality. Integrity of the auditor is not able to moderate the influence of competence to audit quality, independence and audit time budget gave significant effect on audit quality that moderated the auditor integrity, and the task complexity gave significant effect on audit quality that moderated the auditor integrity.Keywords : Factors affecting audit qualityCorrespondence to : [email protected] ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi, independensi, kompleksitas tugas dan anggaran waktu audit terhadap kualitas audit serta untuk mengetahui integritas auditor sebagai pemoderasi terhadap kualitas audit. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian asosiatif. Data yang digunakan yaitu data primer dan data sekunder. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah auditor yang tersebar dan bekerja di KAP dan BPK RI Palembang sebanyak 124 responden. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu dengan menggunakan wawancara, kuesioner dan dokumentasi . Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis kuantitatif dan analisis kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kompetensi independensi serta anggaran waktu audit secara signifikan memengaruhi kualitas audit, sedangkan kompleksitas tugas tidak memengaruhi kualtitas audit. Intergritas auditor tidak mampu memoderasi pengaruh kompetensi terhadap kualitas audit, independensi dan anggran waktu audit secara signifikan memengaruhi kualitas audit yang dimoderasi integritas auditor, dan kompleksitas tugas secara signifikan memengaruhi kualitas audit yang dimoderasi integritas auditor.Kata kunci : Kualitas AuditKorespodensi : [email protected]

PENGARUH GAYA KEPEMIMPINAN TRANSFORMASIONAL, INSENTIF, BUDAYA ORGANISASI TERHADAP KEPUASAN KERJA PEGAWAI (STUDI PADA BAPPEDA KOTA MATARAM)

This research is aimed at 1) determining the effect of transformasional leadership of satisfactory of employees of Bappeda (Planning and Regional Development Agency) of Mataram, 2) determining the effect of incentiveon the work satisfactory of employees of Bappeda of Mataram, 3) determining the effect of organizational culture on the work satisfactory of employees of Bappeda of Mataram. The population of this research ware all employees of Bappeda of Mataram. The sample of the research ware 39 employees selected through census method. The data ware collected through questionnaires, documentation, and interview. The data were examine with multiplee linear regression using SPSS program. The reasearch showed that the were of transformasional leadership, incentive, and organizational culture had positive effect of the work satisfactory of employees of Bappeda of Mataram.Keyword:transformasional leadership,, incentive,organizational culture, work satisfactory
