In the past, the main method of tunnel excavation in China was drilling and blasting, but the biggest shortcoming of the traditional drilling and blasting method is that it is easy to cause serious overexcavation and underexcavation. At the same time, the operation cycle time of this method is long, which leads to a serious waste of resources. Not only that, a large number of toxic gases and dust produced after blasting also do harm to the health of construction workers. So this is an urgent need for a new construction technology to solve this worldwide problem. In this situation, the leading experts in the field of tunnel, "The survey and design master of China" Shi Yuxin, Liu Pei, and well known expert in explosion field, yan-sheng ding, professor Chen Chengguang and Gu Yicheng, the experts group, cooperate with The Fifth Branch of China Railway 18th Bureau in northwest project management department, developed a new technology. This technology has passed the appraisal of scientific and technological achievements organized by Tianjin Science and Technology Commission, which is shaped hydraulic smooth blasting technology. The comprehensive evaluation of the technology is "international leading" level. This paper is mainly aimed at the drawbacks of drilling and blasting construction, combined with the author's cognition and discussion on the introduction of the new technology of cumulative hydraulic blasting and the practical application effect in the tunnel excavation process of the fourth company of China Railway 14th Bureau Group in the second division of the 9th bid section of Zhangjihuai Railway in Huainan Province.

Abstract Background With the steady growth of trade between China and Europe, the number of trains in CHINA RAILWAY Express has steadily increased under the Belt and Road Initiative. By the end of 2019, more than 21,000 trains have been operated. However, in the development of CHINA RAILWAY Express, the cost of empty container transportation and leasing remains high. So, it is necessary to put forward the strategy of container sharing. Aim Through the optimization of empty container transfer and rent under container sharing, this study aim to reduce the operation cost and put forward the strategy of container sharing. Method Considering the dynamic characteristics of empty container transportation in reality, this paper constructs a multi-period empty container transportation optimization model with the lowest total cost and the stability of the network, combining with the container sharing strategy. Lyapunov optimization method is used to transform the complex problem into a single period optimization problem, and then genetic algorithm is used to solve the model. Result Based on the analysis of 13 existing regular train companies, the results show that the model can effectively improve the utilization rate of containers and reduce the cost in the decision-making period. Based on the results and parameters analysis, some suggestions are put forward to optimize the empty container sharing and effectively realize of container sharing.

China Railway Express is developing rapidly, but the point-to-point direct organization mode has brought many problems to it. Therefore, this paper proposes to construct a hub-and-spoke network and adopt the “collecting and transportation” organization mode. In this paper, based on the single distribution p-hub median problem, a dual-objective planning model was constructed by considering the characteristics of CR Express in terms of cost and time. In addition, considering the port as a key node of international rail transport network, it plays a vital role for CR Express. Therefore, a hub-port allocation model was constructed to determine the hub-port allocation relationship. Furthermore, a Lagrangian relaxation heuristic algorithm was designed to solve the model built for CR Express transportation network. Finally, based on the constructed model, the actual operation data of CR Express were used in the designed example to verify the effectiveness and applicability of the models and methods.

Under the auspices of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), China has been expanding the operation of its CRE (China Railway Express) system that links China and Europe. The CRE is today regarded as an important measure of progress by which BRI-related goals are achieved, and it has the potential to become the most sustainable mode of long-range transport. The system has been growing rapidly thanks to the active support of the Chinese government. As the Eurasian trade and logistics environment changes, CRE will become increasingly important as a third option that complements air and sea transport, with the demand continuing to accelerate among shippers for CRE service. Despite the expanding role and potential importance of the CRE system, few academic studies have been undertaken on the relevant CRE policies and status, especially in international academic journals. Thus, this study comprehensively reviewed the specific operation status of CRE system by route and region, and identified specific challenges that need to be addressed in order to continue its sustainable development.
