Background. Cancer has been considered as the leading cause of death in the world. In patients with cancer, up to 80% display a cachectic period after diagnosis. Cachexia is known to have a negative impact on function, treatment tolerance, higher rates of hospitalizations, and mortality. Anorexia is often used as a warning sign of precachexia. Long-term anorexia may lead to malnutrition and, then, accelerate the occurrence of cachexia. A safe and effective treatment, which can both improve appetite and assist nutritional support for precachexia cancer patients shows its particular important role. Methods. A retrospective analysis comparing the different therapeutic effects on precachexia cancer patients with anorexia-malnutrition. We recorded 46 patients with the improved-Sijunzi decoction combined with enteral nutrition emulsion (ISJZ group) and 35 patients with single enteral nutrition emulsion (SEN group). The different therapeutic effects of the two groups were observed by recording indicators before and 2 weeks after treatment, including patient-generated subjective global assessment score, quality of life score, Karnofsky performance status scale, Eastern cooperative oncology group scale standard and traditional Chinese medicine syndrome, daily total dietary intake, red blood cells, hemoglobin, prealbumin, albumin, total protein cholinesterase, C-reactive protein, leukocytes, alanine aminotransferase, aspartate aminotransferase, alkaline phosphatase, urea nitrogen, and creatinine. Results. ISJZ group exhibited prominent improvement of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome (TCMS), nutritional condition, and quality of life compared with the SEN group (QOL: p = 0.0001 , PG-SGA: p = 0.019 , dietary intake: p = 0.0001 , TCMS: p = 0.0001 ). The levels of HGB ( p = 0.006 ), PAlb ( p = 0.001 ), Alb ( p = 0.0001 ), TP ( p = 0.008 ), and ChE ( p = 0.0001 ) in the ISJZ group were higher than the SEN group after treatment. Moreover, the ratios of CRP/ALB ( p = 0.028 ) and CRP/PALB ( p = 0.005 ) in the two groups have obvious differences; they were lower for the ISJZ group than the SEN group. Conclusions. Enteral nutrition combined with ISJZ decoction is an effective treatment in precachexia cancer patients for the prevention of cachexia. This treatment therapy can alleviate the inflammatory response, improve malnutrition state, and promote the performance status. Tianjin Medical University Cancer Institute and Hospital approved this study (Trial No. 1913).

Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Jieyu decoction in treating generalized anxiety disorder with stagnation-heat in liver meridian type. Methods: There were 72 cases of generalized anxiety disorders outpatient and inpatient patients, and 36 in the control and treatment group. The control group was given oral Deanxit; the treatment group was given Jieyu decoction granules, and necessary psychological counseling was given to patients in both groups. Changes in traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scoring scale, Hamilton scale (HAMA), dynamic electrocardiogram heart rate variability and other indicators were recorded and compared between the two groups. Results: The total effective rate of the control group was 76.5%, and the total effective rate of the treatment group was 80.0%. The curative effect of the treatment group and the control group was significantly higher than that before treatment (P < 0.05), and there was no significant difference in the overall curative effect between the two groups (P > 0.05). The HAMA scale score of the two groups was significantly lower than that before treatment (P < 0.05), and there was no significant difference in the reduction rate of HAMA score between the two groups (P > 0.05). The traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores of the two groups were significantly decreased compared with that before treatment (P < 0.05). The traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores of the treatment group were significantly different from that of the control group after 8 weeks of treatment (P < 0.05). Two groups of heart rate variability in 24 h period of standard deviation between the average normal R - R (SDNN), 24 h per 5 min normal R - R period between the standard deviation (SDANN), root mean square of phase difference between adjacent R - R (RMSSD) and the number of cardiac 50 ms accounted for the percentage of the total number of cardiac (PNN50) than before treatment significantly increased (P < 0.05), 8 weeks after treatment the SDNN, SDANN than the control group no significant difference (P > 0.05), RMSSD,PNN50 significantly difference compared with control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: Jieyu decoction has good efficacy and high safety in the treatment of generalized anxiety disorder of the type of liver meridian and heat stagnation, which is suitable for clinical promotion and application.

UNSTRUCTURED Syndrome differentiation and treatment is the core of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) in the treatment of diseases. TCM doctors can dialectically classify the syndrome according to the patients' symptoms and conduct treatment. Syndrome differentiation can be regarded as a mathematical model for multi-classification of different high-dimensional sparse symptom vectors. The FGCNN can quickly and effectively extract the nonlinear cross features of sparse vectors in the CTR task. On this basis, we selected the data of 5273 real cases of dysmenorrhea and divided the symptoms into field according to the four diagnosis of TCM, so as to construct an improved Cross-FGCNN model and apply it to the intelligent dialectics of TCM. We used 6 kinds of intelligent dialectical models and 3 kinds of CTR models as comparisons at the same time. Cross-FGCNN can achieve 96.21% accuracy and 0.836 Log-Loss, which is better than other models. We maintain that the model of Cross-FGCNN can automatically extract the linear and nonlinear features of symptoms and classify them, having great potential in the intelligent dialectics of TCM in the future.
