At present, research on the loosening of bolts under transverse excitation and their fatigue under axial excitation has been relatively mature, but research on the competitive relationship and failure characteristics between loosening and fatigue of bolts under transverse and axial composite excitation is still insufficient. Therefore, a method to accurately determine the failure types of bolts is proposed in this study by conducting a competitive failure test of loosening and fatigue under composite excitation. According to this method, the failure types of bolts can be distinguished. The analysis results reveal that there is an obvious competitive failure relationship between the loosening and fatigue of bolts, and the failure mode is mainly affected by the ratio of the transverse and axial loads (ξ). There is a critical ξ of bolt-loosening or fatigue failure, and the critical ξ is an inherent property of the bolt and is unrelated to the load. The critical ξ of 8.8 grade M8 × 1.25 × 70 high-strength bolts under composite excitation is obtained as 0.075 mm/kN. The failure mode of bolts under composite excitation can be predicted based on the critical ξ.

In contrast to traditional enterprise rivalry, the construction market competition is irregular on the surface due to the randomization of client targets and the one-time competition organization, which conflicts with construction businesses’ perceptions of the nature and future trend of rivalry. Therefore, contractors urgently need to accurately understand the competitive environment in which they will operate. In construction, few empirical studies exist on competitive environments from the standpoint of enterprise-to-enterprise competitive interactions. Based on market commonality, several hypotheses concerning the competitive pattern of the construction market have been proposed. To test these, a model of competing relationship networks is created using 7402 bid-winner notices for construction projects in Chongqing, China, from 2015 to 2018, followed by quantitative analysis and discussion of the model’s characteristic features. The findings suggest that there is a “community-type” rivalry in the building market, which represents the essential characteristics of market commonality. The research shows that the competitive action of construction enterprises is affected by construction technology, industrial division of labor and regional markets, and the competitive relationship between them tends to be “strong-strong”. This study reveals that the “community” competitive relationship in the construction industry may be a unique phenomenon, expands the application and development of market commonality and enterprise clusters in the construction economy, and provides theoretical guidance for construction enterprises to accurately recognize competitive behavior and decision making.

Background: Hirschsprung’s disease (HSCR) is a common defect in newborns, and studies have revealed that long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) is involved in the progression of HSCR. This research study aims to investigate the mechanism of downregulated RNA in cancer (DRAIC) on cell proliferation and migration in HSCR. Methods: Quantitative reverse transcription–polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR) was used to detect the expression of DRAIC in HSCR bowel stenosis tissues and normal colon tissues. Cell-counting kit-8 (CCK-8) and Transwell assays were employed to explore whether cellular functions change after overexpression or knockdown of the DRAIC in SH-SY5Y cells and human 293T cells. Protein expression levels were determined by Western blot analysis. RNA pull-down and dual-luciferase reporter assays were used to confirm the competitive relationship of DRAIC and integrin subunit alpha 6 (ITGA6) through their association with miR-34a-5p. Results: The lncRNA DRAIC was significantly increased in colon tissue from HSCR patients. The overexpression of DRAIC inhibited SH-SY5Y cell and human 293T cell proliferation and migration. Knockdown of DRAIC, however, promoted cell proliferation and migration. The RNA pull-down and dual-luciferase reporter assays have proven the competitive relationship between DRAIC and ITGA6 through their association with miR-34a-5p. Further rescue experiments have confirmed that DRAIC regulates cell proliferation and migration by affecting the miR-34a-5p/ITGA6 signal axis in HSCR. Conclusion: DRAIC promoted cell proliferation and migration by regulating the miR-34a-5p/ITGA6 signal axis in HSCR.

Subject. The article investigates the development of competitive relationship in the financial market in the context of the financial marketplace institution formation in the Russian Federation. Objectives. The key goal is to identify problems of competition development in the Russian financial market, to assess the impact of information technologies, implemented in the activities of financial sector organizations, on prospective changes in the competitive environment in this area. Methods. The study employs logical and structural analysis, systems and functional approach, and the formal legal method. Results. The paper notes major problems of competition development in the financial market in the Russian Federation, assesses the impact of digitalization processes of financial sector companies on prospective changes in the conditions for competitive environment in this area. It reveals that for the financial sector that tends to reduce the quality of competitive relationship, the creation of a single digital platform in the form of a financial marketplace can become a real opportunity to help both medium-sized and small players in their competition with the largest companies for consumer attention in the industry. Conclusions. The findings can be used both for theoretical purposes, when studying issues related to the concept, essence and legal regulation of competitive relationship in the Russian financial market, and in practical activities, when developing proposals for improving the legal regulation in this area.

As one of the main modes of capacity sharing in the shipping alliance, the essence of which is the space mutual rent transaction among members. However, under the current trading system, the sharing of capacity between shipping enterprises requires a lot of transaction costs and communication costs, cooperation efficiency is not high, and there is a certain competitive relationship between enterprises, they work for their own interests, resulting in more difficult cooperation, and blockchain consensus mechanism, intelligent contracts, distributed bookkeeping and other characteristics can solve these problems of alliance cooperation. Therefore, based on the idea of blockchain, this paper designs a model of mutual lease cooperation in shipping union cabins, gives the model and process of mutual lease transactions based on blockchain, realizes mutual trust and win-win situation among members, simulates through the combination of Hyperledger Fabric and Matlab, and verifies the applicability of blockchain to shipping alliance capacity sharing cooperation.

The competitive relationship between the surface flashover of the coplanar electrodes and the body current channel was investigated. Breakdown behavior of GaAs photo-conductive semiconductor switch (PCSS) with a backside-light-receiving coplanar electrode structure was studied in this paper. GaAs PCSS was triggered by the laser pulse with an extrinsic absorption wavelength of 1064 nm. Special insulating construction was designed for GaAs PCSS, while the surface of the electrodes was encapsulated with transparent insulating adhesive. Our first set of experiments was at a bias voltage of 8 kV, and the surface flashover breakdown of GaAs PCSS was observed with 10 Hz triggering laser pulse. In the second experiment, at a bias voltage of 6 kV, the body current channel breakdown appeared on the backside of the GaAs PCSS. Compared with these results, the existence of a competitive relationship between the surface flashover breakdown and the body current channel breakdown of the GaAs PCSS was confirmed. When the bias voltage is set within a certain range (just reaching avalanche mode), GaAs PCSS with a backside-light-receiving coplanar electrode structure will undergo the body current channel breakdown. This finding is also consistent with the simulation results.
