AbstractCyber-physical systems (CPS) are able the collect huge amounts of data about themselves, their users, and their environment during their usage phase. By feeding these usage data back into product planning, manufacturers can optimize their engineering and decision-making processes. Despite promising potentials, most manufacturers still do not analyze usage data within product planning. Also, research on usage data-driven product planning is scarce. Therefore, this paper aims to identify the main concepts, advantages, success factors and challenges of usage data-driven product planning. To answer the corresponding research questions, a comprehensive systematic literature review is conducted. From its results, a detailed description of usage data-driven product planning consisting of six main concepts is derived. Furthermore, taxonomies for the advantages, success factors and challenges of usage data-driven product planning are presented. The six main concepts and the three taxonomies allow for a deeper understanding of the topic while highlighting necessary future actions and research needs.

Lancang Island is one of the islands in the Kepulauan Seribu Regency with the potential for tourism and fishing activities. Some residents of Lancang Island took advantage of the opportunity by establishing a fishing charter business. This study aims to provide a proper planning strategy for the tourist business unit to increase public income on Lancang Island. The fishing tourism business in Lancang Island includes four units such as Fishing Charter, Boat Rentals, Catering, and Accommodation. The data used are primary and secondary, and the research method is qualitative and presented descriptively. According to research using the BCG Matrix, the entire fishing charter units on  Lancang Island are in the Cash Cow quadrant, so concentric diversification is a viable planning strategy. The planning strategies consist of product planning, market and marketing planning, and technology planning tailored to each business unit.

This study aims to develop Kahoot application for grammar and reading comprehension tests on the subject of simple past tense, recount text, and narrative text. The type of this research was Research and Development (R&D) by using Borg & Gall model. There were only applied three stages in this research: 1) research and information collection 2) product planning 3) development of a preliminary form of the product. At the stage of research and information data collection, the researcher conducted need analysis. To find out the need analysis, the researcher interviewed an English teacher and some students. The next stage was product planning. In this stage, the researcher determined the exam content outline as a reference to make a quiz and collecting the material. The next stage was to develop a preliminary form of the product. It involved designing, developing, and validating the product. The subjects were 28 students in class X network computer engineering at SMKS Pembina Bangsa Bukittinggi in the academic year 2020/2021. The data collection techniques were interview and validation sheets. Based on the results of the validation sheet from three experts by the means score of percentage was obtained 68,66%, It means that English quiz using Kahoot application for grammar and reading comprehension test was feasible to be used in learning English.

To ensure competition and survival of business, understanding the indicators or drivers of export performance is important. Based on the organizational learning theory and strategic fit theory, this study aims to test the influence of market exploration strategies (MERS) and market exploitation strategies (METS) on SMEs’ export strategic performance, export financial performance (EFP), and export customer performance (ECP). This study confirms the leading mediating role of product planning and development (PPD) in the effects of MERS and METS on export performance outcomes. The authors collected questionnaire data electronically from 122 experienced SMEs that conduct international transactions in Saudi Arabia. Results from the Analysis of Moment Structures indicate that MERS and METS positively influence export performance; PPD mediates the relationship between MERS and METS in export performance dimensions; and number of sales and ownerships are control variables that influence EFP and ECP, respectively. This study contributes to the literature and society by proposing a framework that addresses the direct and indirect relationships between export marketing strategies and PPD, and their effects on SMEs’ export performance.

We use a large variety of goods and services in our daily life. These include items like toothpaste, toothbrush, soap, oil, clothes, food items, telephone, electricity and many more. How do all these goods and services reach our home? Obviously the business houses who produce the goods and services have to ensure that these are to be sold, and so they have to make the consumers/users aware of their products and place them at points convenient to the consumers. This involves a number of activities such as product planning, pricing, promotion, use of middlemen (wholesalers, retailer etc.) for sale warehousing, transportation etc.

With the rapid change of the macro environmental factors, the operation and organization of Taiwan's overall construction industry has also been greatly affected. In addition, looking back on the past the companies often encounter the phenomenon of Real Estate Bermuda Effect. Are the key factors for the successful operation of Taiwan's publicly-listed construction companies-good Sales Ability (SA) and Product Planning and Design (PD) can better respond to the above-mentioned adverse environmental changes? This study mainly aims to verify the impact of Taiwan's publicly-listed construction company's Sales ability (SA) and Product planning and design (PD) on Financial performance (FP) by using Macro environmental Factors (ME) as an interference variable. In this study, the population was sampled by Purposive Sampling and the directors or above as the research interview object. In addition, this study used the database of Taiwan Economic Journal (TEJ) to obtain the company's EPS information, and Linear Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was used to verify the fitting effect of the Whole model, Structural model and Measurement model. The results show that Taiwan's publicly-listed construction company’s Sales Ability (SA) and Product Planning and Design (PD) , both of which have positive effects on Financial Performance (FP) respectfully, but not significant; however, adding the Intervening variable of Macro Environmental Factors (ME), both has a positive and significant interactive effect on Financial Performance (FP). This means that Macro environmental factors (ME) plays a very important positive impact role in promoting Financial Performance (FP), but Financial Performance (FP) is also affected by the aggregation of other factors such as both of Sales Ability (SA) and Product Planning and Design (PD) which were combined or to be considered at the same time. This finding can be used at least as a reference for the business decision makers of Taiwan publicly-listed construction companies as sustainable business management and development.
